• Get the tags of a document in Subversion

  I was wondering if there is a way to easily see the tags of a specific file in Subversion using the command line and/or TortoiseSVN. Most version control system allow you to see easily access the tags/labels of a file. When using TortoiseSVN I can do this when I access the "Revision Graph". This however is a operation that takes around 44 minutes. I consider this very hard work just to know what tags have been created for the file. Is there another way to do it? Or is there no way to instantaneously access tag information. Thanks, Onno

• Troubleshooting "connection reset" error on my linux server

  I fervently hope someone here can help me with the problem I am experiencing. I am a programmer, and I have very little understanding of linux sysadmin terminology/concepts. I am attempting to troubleshoot a problem with my website. It is a Facebook app, and whenever I try to connect using Chrome, I get an error stating that the "connection was reset". I have been Googling for four days straight trying to find a solution to this problem, but no joy. A big part of the problem is that I do not understand the terminology being employed, and the output from many of the tools referenced is likewise indecipherable to me. I am running a VPS with CentOS 5, apache, PHP, and MySQL. I could spam this post with a ton of information from my iptables, apache, etc but if anyone needs information from my server, please let me know how to get it, and I will post it here. Thank you for any help you can offer!

I don't need that complex of FTP interaction. Its just the typical create/delete dirs, upload/download files... What do you recommend?

• Force a browser to load the 'https' edition of a website, not the 'http'?

  This is similar to this previous question, but I believe it's a bit different*. Sites like GMail support a preference that pushes all traffic through the SSL edition of the site rather than the plain-text protocol. For sites that don't offer such preferences (or ones that may, but I have been unable to find, like facebook), is there a way using only the browser (perhaps with a plugin or addon) to always try SSL first, and fall-back to plain-text iff SSL fails? Is that solution available on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux? Just one? * The previous question was looking for external applications that would accomplish this goal.

  What is the best way for an SWT application to clean up resources before application exit? I see two options: 1) Add a DisposeListener to main window (or better, to the Display). Will it get run if an uncaught exception happens? 2) Use a shutdown hook. Any problems to be aware of there which aren't mentioned in Design of the Shutdown Hooks API?

The method does not return private members of the caller's superclass or any other class where the caller is not an instance." • PHP Doxygen Collaboration Diagrams

  I've started playing around with doxygen to generate documentation from my PHP code. I notice there are two diagrams in the generated output - inheritance and collaboration. I know about the inheritance one, but the collaboration one has piqued my interest since reading the manual: If the COLLABORATION_GRAPH and HAVE_DOT tags are set to YES then doxygen will generate a graph for each documented class showing the direct and indirect implementation dependencies (inheritance, containment, and class references variables) of the class with other documented classes. The impression I get from that description is that composition relationships should be represented by the collaboration diagram as well, but it always seems to just be identical to the inheritance one. Is there something I can do to hint to Doxygen the things I would like to appear in this diagram? Does it just not work with PHP?

  WPF and Silverlight have a data binding model whereby I can provide a Binding with a Path which comprises a dot-notation of property accessors down from a DataContext to a specific value inside a complex object graph (eg. MyDataContext.RootProperty.SubProperty.Thing.Value) I have a (non-UI) requirement to accept such a path expressed as a simple string, and to use reflection on an object which is (hopefully) of a type which exposes the right property getters and setters in order to read and/or write values to those properties. Before I go off and start writing the parser and reflection code, is there a handy Framework 3.5 BCL class to help with this?

This is the method to store a single attribute: $this->getUser()->setAttribute('something', $something); And the documentation says: "User attributes can store any type of data (strings, arrays, and associative arrays)" ... but doesn't say anything more. • Looking for a free tool to visualize object relationships for C#

  Here is my ideal solution: a free tool that reads a .csporj or .sln and generates a pretty picture that shows all the objects and how they are related. By relationships, I don't mean inheritance but rather dependency. For example, if we have a Car object and Car has a member variable Wheel, I would like that Car depends on Wheel to be visualized in the graph. I know visual studio can do inheritance graphs, but that is only half of what I am looking for. Is what I am looking for possible? Are there any tools that do something similar? • Is HTTP 404 appropriate for out of range page number on paged content?

  I have a site that is mainly showing a paged list of content (articles, data element's, etc.), and I'm wondering about returning HTTP 404 when user navigates outside of the available list range. Some sites just display "No results/Page number out of range" and some return additionally return HTTP 404 status. What's your take on that, and why? UPDATE It's not and api response. This question is in regard to user viewed pages that among other things show a list/table in the main area.

  Hello, I want to write a default Logger for my application. Currently I am using the default Java API Class Logger . I was wondering if it's possible to format my logs to look somthing like this: [level] [dd:MM:YYYY] [hh:mm:ss] message The logger should also be able to print the messages into the System.out and into a file ?
