Anyone knows how to fix this warning? UPDATE This problem also exists with gtk-demo , is it a gtk bug? Can someone verify that? Platform: windows XP UPDATE AGAIN This is indeed a gtk bug,which is un-fixable.

  jQuery 1.7.2 jQuery Validate 1.1.0 jQuery Form 3.18 Wordpress 3.4.2 I am trying to code a contact/ mail form in above environment/ with above jQuery libs. Now I am having a problem with the jQuery Form JS: I have taken the original code from the developers page for ajaxSubmit and only altered the target option to an ID which exists in my HTML source and replaced $ with jQuery in function showRequest. The problem is, that the function namend after success: does not fire. I tried the same with error: and again nothing fired. Only complete: did and the function I placed there alerted the responseText from the receiving script. Does anyone has an idea whats going wrong? Thanks in advance! • Accessing database problem

  Ok, so I've got an SQLiteOpenHelper that prepares and returns a SQLiteDatabase object; this is written singleton-pattern, so the database is opened once and only closed when the Activity closes. From there I have three database wrappers encapsulating the queries (some returning cursors to datasets, some inserting data) used by the Activity. I want to insert data from one View, then have that automatically update in another View on the same Dialogue. I'm writing this on a notepad and testing on the phone (since the emulator crashes the notepad...), so I can't pull up stacktraces atm. So questions: 1) are there limitations to writing to a database, when there are cursors open on the database? 2) Does a Cursor.requery()? call update the ListView with the cursor as a data connector?

  So I have built a voting system for a custom post system i wrote. I want to be able to sort by "most voted", "Most liked", etc. I have two tables. Entry: ID, Title, Post Vote: ID, EntryID, Result I want to be able to query the vote table for each entry and see how many vote's there are, and then sort the entry's by how many vote's each table had. I have messed around with joins, etc. and cannot seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?

  Can't move 'D:\Documents\Websites\blah.svn\tmp\entries' to 'D:\ ... .svn\entries': The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. Any thoughts on what would cause this? This usually happens when trying to commit a large number of new files. Sometimes an update fixes it but most of the time I have to delete the offending directory, re-download it, and attempt to add or update it again. EDIT: it seems my pc always wanting to chkdsk as boot is related.

  I have 4 serailized arrays that I want to pass to php for processing. So far, i found DBI can only execute one statement at a time, and without the ";" at the end.

The number of rows contained in an existing section after the update (1) must be equal to the number of rows contained in that section before the update (1), plus or minus the number of rows inserted or deleted from that section (0 inserted, 1 deleted). with userInfo (null) Program received signal: “EXC_BAD_ACCESS”.* This seems to be courtesy of NSSortDescriptor *sortByTotals = [[NSSortDescriptor alloc] initWithKey:@"categoryTotal" ascending:sortOrder]; If I remove this everything works as expected, but obviously without the sorting I want. I'm guessing this is to do with the sorting order changing due to categoryTotal changing (deletion / insertion) but can't find away fix this. I've verified that values are being modified correctly in the second view, so it appears down to the fetchedResultsController being confused. If the categoryAmount is changed to one that does not change the sort order, then no error is generated I'm not physically changing (ie deleting) the number of items the fetchedResultsController is returning ... the only other issue I can find that seem to generate this error Any ideas would be most welcome Thanks, AJ

  I'm using some CLR objects that use the INotifyPropertyChanged interface and use the PropertyChanged function to update in WPF bindings. Say I had a calculated value: public double ScaledWidgets { get { return TotalWidgets * CONSTANT_FACTOR; } } I would have to fire ScaledWidget's PropertyChanged when TotalWidgets is updated, eg: set { m_TotalWidgets = value; RaisePropertyChanged("TotalWidgets"); RaisePropertyChanged("ScaledWidgets"); } Is there a better way to do this? Is it possible "invalidate" the whole object, especially if there are a lot of derived values? I think it would be kind of lame to fire 100 PropertyChanged events.

  Hi, I entered some products data into a table using a migration. I need to expire the page and fragment cache when I update, add, delete products from this table. • How to test the XML sent to a web service in Ruby/Rails

  I'm looking for the best way to write unit test for code that POSTs to an external web service. The body of the POST request is an XML document which describes the actions and data for the web service to perform. Now, I've wrapped the webservice in its own class (similar to ActiveResource), and I can't see any way to test the exact XML being generated by the class without breaking encapsulation by exposing some of the internal XML generation as public methods on the class. This seems to be a code smell - from the point-of-view of the users of the class, they should not know, nor care, how the class actually implements the web service call, be it with XML, JSON or carrier pigeons. For an example of the class: class Resource def new #initialize the class end def save! Http.post("http://webservice.com", self.to_xml) end private def to_xml # returns an XML representation of self end end I want to be able to test the XML generated to ensure it conforms to what the specs for the web service are expecting. So can I best do this, without making to_xml a public method?

• Searching in Ruby on Rails - How do I search on each word entered and not the exact string?

  I have built a blog application w/ ruby on rails and I am trying to implement a search feature. The blog application allows for users to tag posts. The tags are created in their own table and belong_to :post. When a tag is created, so is a record in the tag table where the name of the tag is tag_name and associated by post_id. Tags are strings. I am trying to allow a user to search for any word tag_name in any order. Here is what I mean. Lets say a particular post has a tag that is 'ruby code controller'. In my current search feature, that tag will be found if the user searches for 'ruby', 'ruby code', or 'ruby code controller'. It will not be found if the user types in 'ruby controller'. Essentially what I am saying is that I would like each word entered in the search to be searched for, not necessarily the 'string' that is entered into the search. I have been experimenting with providing multiple textfields to allow the user to type in multiple words, and also have been playing around with the code below, but can't seem to accomplish the above. I am new to ruby and rails so sorry if this is an obvious question and prior to installing a gem or plugin I thought I would check to see if there was a simple fix. • What regular expression(s) would I use to remove escaped html from large sets of data.

  Our database is filled with articles retrieved from RSS feeds. I was unsure of what data I would be getting, and how much filtering was already setup (WP-O-Matic Wordpress plugin using the SimplePie library). This plugin does some basic encoding before insertion using Wordpress's built in post insert function which also does some filtering. I've figured out most of the filters before insertion, but now I have whacko data that I need to remove. This is an example of whacko data that I have data in one field which the content I want in the front, but this part removed which is at the end: <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0"></img> <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0"></img> &lt;img src=&quot;http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:D7DqB2pKExk&quot; Notice how some of the images are escape and some aren't. I believe this has to do with the last part being cut off so as to be unrecognizable as an html tag, which then caused it to be html endcoded. PS One of the nice things about using Wordpress's insert post function, is that if you use php's strip_tags function to strip out all html, insert post function will insert <p> at the paragraph points. • Django comments form validation, check if the comment is from authenticated user

  I wanted to add reCaptcha to the comment form, but only for non-authenticated users. I've created my own comments app, using reCaptcha more or less according to this post, except that I don't have any (explicit) view function to post the comment, but instead I check captcha as a part of form validation process. Everything works fine so far. Now, how do I disable reCaptcha for a logged in user? Removing all reCaptcha-related fields in the template is no problem, but how do I validate the form, not checking captcha if the comment if from an authenticated user? Alternatively, is there a way to use two different comment form classes, depending on whether the user is authenticated or not?

• Creating a foreign key in MySQL produces error:

  I'm trying to create a foreign key on a table in MySQL and I'm getting a strange error that there seems to be little info about in any of my searches. I'm creating the key with this (emitted from mysql workbench 5.2): ALTER TABLE `db`.`appointment` ADD CONSTRAINT `FK_appointment_CancellationID` FOREIGN KEY (`CancellationID` ) REFERENCES `db`.`appointment_cancellation` (`ID` ) ON DELETE NO ACTION ON UPDATE NO ACTION , ADD INDEX `FK_appointment_CancellationID` (`CancellationID` ASC) ; at which point I get the error: ERROR 1452: Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (alarmtekcore., CONSTRAINT FK_lead_appointment_CancellationID FOREIGN KEY (CancellationID) REFERENCES lead_appointment_cancellation (`) I've checked here but there's no data in the table.
