  If the server is restarted, or even if fail2ban is stopped/start it sends a notification. [asterisk-iptables] enabled = true filter = asterisk action = iptables-allports[name=ASTERISK, protocol=all] sendmail-whois[name=ASTERISK, [email protected], [email protected]] logpath = /var/log/asterisk/messages maxretry = 5 bantime = 259200 Removing the sendmail-whois stops it, but it also stops the ban notifications, how can I get it to stop notifying me when the process starts/stops?   Hey. My java application has got a package structure similar to this; src/com/name/app , src/com/name/app/do , src/com/name/utils/db and so on. How would I go about compiling java files in these directories in to a runnable jar? I need to package required libraries into the generated JAR (jdbc). I've always done these things in Eclipse but now I need to supply a couple of people with a way to compile the repository without the use of eclipse and I was thinking of making a makefile or a script that invokes the necessary javac pattern. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  I've got a links array that I'm saving to a database. The problem is that the records aren't saved in the order of the array ie links[1] is saved before links[2] and so on... • Missing backslashes in filename using C#

  Hi, I have a string literal as follows: string filename = @"C:\myfolder\myfile.jpg"; When I use File.Exists(filename) it works most of the time but sometimes I get an error saying the following file doesn't exist: C:myfoldermyfile.jpg Something seems to strip the backslashes out of the filename. This code is sometimes accessed via an ajax request. Does anyone know why/how this could be happening? • Dynamic object property populator (without reflection)

  I want to populate an object's properties without using reflection in a manner similar to the DynamicBuilder on CodeProject. The CodeProject example is tailored for populating entities using a DataReader or DataRecord. I use this in several DALs to good effect. Now I want to modify it to use a dictionary or other data agnostic object so that I can use it in non DAL code --places I currently use reflection. I know almost nothing about OpCodes and IL. I just know that it works well and is faster than reflection. I have tried to modify the CodeProject example and because of my ignorance with IL, I have gotten stuck on two lines. One of them deals with dbnulls and I'm pretty sure I can just lose it, but I don't know if the lines preceding and following it are related and which of them will also need to go. The other, I think, is the one that pulled the value out of the datarecord before and now needs to pull it out of the dictionary. I think I can replace the "getValueMethod" with my "property.Value" but I'm not sure. I'm open to alternative/better ways of skinning this cat too. • Best Practice For Referencing an External Module In a Java Project

  I have a Java project that expects external modules to be registered with it. These modules: Implement a particular interface in the main project Are packaged into a uni-jar (along with any dependencies) Contain some human-readable meta-information (like the module name). My main project needs to be able to load at runtime (e.g. using its own classloader) any of these external modules. My question is: what's the best way of registering these modules with the main project (I'd prefer to keep this vanilla Java, and not use any third-party frameworks/libraries for this isolated issue)? My current solution is to keep a single .properties file in the main project with key=name, value=classhuman-readable-name (or coordinate two .properties files in order to avoid the delimiter parsing). At runtime, the main project loads in the .properties file and uses any entries it finds to drive the classloader. This feels hokey to me. Is there a better way to this?

• Why the OnWorkflowItemChanged is different between List and document library?

  I am doing a workflow for a document library. I put a OnWorkflowItemChanged, and I want to get the value of the column which is changed. I use the workflowProperties.Item["name"] and use the afterProperties. But when I use the workflowProperties.Item["column name"], I still got the original value. When I use the afterProperties, it's NULL. Then I make another workflow that is the same as above for a list. I can use the workflowProperties.Item["column name"] to get the new value in OnWorkflowItemChanged. Has anyone come across this problem before? Can you give me some help?

  I've successfully submitted "Product Name" to App Store. However, submitting "Product Name Lite", I keep getting the error "Unable to unzip application" in both Application Loader and built-in Xcode's uploader. Error persists even after eliminating spaces from the product name; in fact, I don't think there's whitespace anywhere in the app or the plist anymore. What might be causing this "highly descriptive" error? I'm using Xcode 3.2.5. Attempting to clean, build, and build&archive did not help.

• Storing uploaded content on a website

  For the past 5 years, my typical solution for storing uploaded files (images, videos, documents, etc) was to throw everything into an "upload" folder and give it a unique name. I'm looking to refine my methods for storing uploaded content and I'm just wondering what other methods are used / preferred. I've considered storing each item in their own folder (folder name is the Id in the db) so I can preserve the uploaded file name. I've also considered uploading all media to a locked folder, then using a file handler, which you pass the Id of the file you want to download in the querystring, it would then read the file and send the bytes to the user. This is handy for checking access, and restricting bandwidth for users.
