• facebook flash - Variable FBJS is not defined

  I have a simple Flash just put in for an facebook app. it is so simple that only one frame and one text box. that's all. I have this <fb:fbjs-bridge/> <fb:swf swfsrc="http://path/test2.swf" width="100" height="100" /> <script> <!-- --> </script> and I have no error to show the flash in Firefox & Chrome. But in IE, I get this: VerifyError: Error #1033: Cpool entry 36 is wrong type. ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable FBJS is not defined. What happen? what does it mean? :)

• jQuery Thickbox and Google Maps Extinfowindow

  I am trying to place a link into an Extinfowindow that obtains its content through an Ajax call. So, I click on a push pin marker, up pops the Extinfowindow with my ThickBox link in it, and when I inspect the DOM for the entire page at that point, I can see the element correctly showing up with the "thickbox" class. The link looks like this <A class="thickbox" title="" href="http://localhost:1293/Popup.aspx? height=200&width=300&modal=true">Modal Popup</A> However, when I click on it, it does a full refresh and the target page loads in the browser, not in a popup. It seems that when the <A> for the Thickbox control is injected into the DOM after the initial load, jQuery is no longer able to do its magic and intercept the anchor link request. Does anybody have thoughts about how to do this better?

• jQuery datepicker causes page overflow

  I am using the datepicker control from jQuery-ui 1.8. from-date is a text input. I am attaching a very simple datepicker: $('#from-date').datepicker(); This causes the page to overflow (vertical scrollbar), which I am trying to avoid. As soon as I click the from-date, the datepicker control appears, and the scrollbar dissapears. After dismissing the datepicker, the scrollbar doesn't appear anymore. The text field is inside a div that has overflow:auto and a fixed height and width. I suspect it's a z-index issue. What am I doing wrong ? How would I debug this ?

  I'm trying to loop through a row of an arraycollection using nested repeater; <mx:Repeater id="rp1" dataProvider="{arrayCollection}"> <mx:Repeater id="rp2" dataProvider="{rp1.currentItem}"> <mx:Button height="49" width="50" label="{rp2.currentItem.name}" /> </mx:Repeater> </mx:Repeater> What im trying to do is make the repeater loop through all the attributes in the currentRow, eg. name,age, address etc. At the moment all i do is call rp2.currentItem.name which explicitly calls out the name of the attribute and then the value is returned. Is it possible instead of explicity naming the attribute to just loop through them all and dispplay button for each using the nested repeater?thanks

  Hi, I have a long text string (including \n newline charactersthat I feed into a UILabel for display. The UILabel is dynamically setup to provide sufficient space foor the text.   I have a custom module and I have a working grid to menage the module items in the admin. My module file structore is : app\code\local\G4R\GroupSales\Block\Adminhtml\Groupsale\ I want to add an edit form so I can view and edit each item in the grid. • [UIScreen applicationFrame] returning incorrect rectangle on landscape application launch (iPhone/iP

  Having trouble getting the correct bounds for my iPad application when launching it in landscape mode. I have the proper keys set in my Info.plist file, and my view controllers launch properly in landscape (and portrait, natch). In my applicationDidFinishLaunching: method I'm calling a selector after a 3 second delay, and that method makes a call to [[UIScreen applicationFrame]`, but it's returning me a portrait frame (ie height width). Does anyone know how to fix this? It smells like a bug to me (if so I'll file a radar), but if it's intended behaviour, where is it documented?

  I have a very simple test application where I have two objects, each with a small collection of items. when I select an object I display its collection in a WPFToolkit DataGrid. The problem is there is a noticeable delay, such that if you press up/down keys to toggle selection between objects you can see it can't keep up. I know EPS aren't a standard web format but they are embedded into a PDF using a bit of ABCpdf magic. • Sub-classing TreeView in C# WinForms for mouse over tool tips

  Ok, this is a weird one. The expected behaviour for a TreeView control is that, if ShowNodeToolTips is set to false, then, when a label for a tree node exceeds the width of the control (or, more accurately, it's right hand edge is past the right hand edge of the client area), then a tooltip is shown above the node showing the full item's text. I'd like to disable that, because the above semantic doesn't always work, depending on what the treeview is contained within. So I have rolled my own, and got the tooltips to work (and line up better than the default one!) - but I would like to be able to disable the 'default' behaviour for situations where it would work natively. So, can anyone point me in the right direction as to which message to post to the TreeView in order to disable that behaviour? I have looked at the windows control reference, but couldn't find anything that looked like it might be the one. Thanks Matt

Problem is printing hello or any other string. If I just type 123 in place of hello, it does give alert. But am not able to use a string like hello there. Normally a string in an alert function is kept inside quotes ' ' but the entire content is inside double quotes and I have already used single quote at the beginning of onclick function. I tried using Escape character ("\") but it didnt help. Any suggestions?

  This is an age old problem of interactive elements inside interactive elements, but I want a ScatterViewItem to contain other surface interactive elements such as a SurfaceButton or SurfaceCheckBox. I've got all my elements in there and they react to taps etc. The problem is that I only get the normal ScatterView behavior once I click on an area that does not contain a control.   I'm currently implementing xVal client-side validation. The server-side validation is working correctly at the moment. I have referenced xVall.dll (from xVal1.0.zip) in my project as well as the System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations and System.web.mvc.DataAnnotations from the Data Annotations Model Binder Sample found at http://aspnet.codeplex.com/releases/view/24471. I have modified the method BindProperty in the DataAnnotationsModelBinder class since it returned a nullpointer exception telling me the modelState object was null. Some blogposts described to modify the method and I did according to this SO post. I referenced using Visual Studio - add reference -- browse - selected from my bin dir where I stored the external compiled dlls (copied to the bin dir of my project). Can anyone tell me where the problem originates from? EDIT Adding the reference from the .NET tab fixed the problem somehow. While earlier adding from this tab resulted in a nullpointer error since it used the standard DataAnnotations delivered with the MVC1 framework instead of the freshly build one. Is it because I dropped the .dll in my bin dir that it now picks the correct one? Or why?

  There is a default submit button for the @FileUpload.GetHtml. But I am expecting to have a submit button inside the Html begin form and use that substitution to submit the list of files with some more parameters. But when I do that the passing IEnumerable is always null in the Action method.   Hello, I am loading am email with IMAP and parsing it with mail. This works very well, however the mail.body.decoded field contains a lot of formatting. • Why isn't TextBox.Text in WPF animatable?

  Ok, I have just run into something that is really catching me off-guard. I was helping a fellow developer with a couple of unrelated questions and in his project he was animating text into some TextBlock(s). So, I went back to my desk and recreated the project (in order to answer his questions), but I accidentally used TextBox instead of TextBlock. My text wasn't animating at all! (A lot of help, I was!) Eventually, I figured out that his xaml was using TextBlock and mine was using TextBox. What is interesting, is that Blend wasn't creating key frames when I was using TextBox. So, I got it to work in Blend using TextBlock(s) and then modified the xaml by hand, converting the TextBlock(s) into TextBox(es). When I ran the project, I got the following error: InvalidOperationException: '(0)' Storyboard.TargetProperty path contains nonanimatable property 'Text'. Well, it seems as if Blend was smart enough to know that ... and not generate the key frames in the animation (it would just modify the value directly on the TextBox). +1 for Blend. So, the question became: why isn't TextBox.Text animatable? The usual answer is that the particular property you are animating isn't a DependencyProperty. But, this isn't the case, TextBox.Text is a DependencyProperty. So, now I am bewildered! Why can't you animate TextBox.Text? Let me include some xaml to illustrate the problem.
