  • CSS rules not getting applied in JSPs ?

    Im building a web application using struts2. I have an authentication interceptor at the top of all the interceptors (I have set it up as such) which checks whether a user is logged in. If not, it will give a login page as result. In login page, I have some set of standard CSS rules which I use for all the JSPs in the app. But that login page coming via that interceptor is not getting applied with CSS rules. Don't know why. I tried to replace it with character reference which led to CDATA looking like: CDATA section----charcter reference----CDATA section Now if i try to parse it i get an error message saying: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Content is not allowed in prolog.

  • Servlet IOException when streaming a Byte Array

    I occasionally get an IOException from a Servlet I have that writes a byte array to the outputstream in order to provide a file download capability. This download servlet has a reasonable amount of traffic (100k hits a month) and this exception occurs rarely, around 1-2 times a month. I have tried recreating the exception by using the exact same Base64 String and no exception is raised and the Servlet behaves as designed. Is this IO Exception being caused by something outside my applications control? For example a network issue or the user resetting the connection? I have tried to google the cause of an IOException at this point in the stack but to no avail. The environment is running Tomcat 5.5 on CentOS 5.3 with an Apache HTTP Server acting as a proxy using proxy_ajp.     Need help. I am trying to automate error notifications to be sent in mailers. For that I am querying the sysssislog table. I have pasted an "Execute SQl task" on the package event handler "On error". For testing purpose, I am deliberately trying to load duplicate keys in a table which consists of a Primary key column(so as to get an error). But instead of having just one error, "Violation of primary key constraint", SSIS records 3 in the table. PFA the screenshot as well. How can i restrict the tool to log only one error and not multiple ??? Package Structure. Package ("On error Event handler") - DFT - Oledb Source - Oledb Destination SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "The statement has been terminated.". An OLE DB record is available. It would appear that I have a choice between serializing as XAML or as RTF, and am wondering if there are any advantages to serializing to XAML over RTF, which I would consider as more "standard". In particular, am I losing any capability by serializing to RTF instead of XAML? I understand XAML supports custom classes inside the FlowDocument, but I'm not currently using any custom classes (though the potential for extensibility might be enough reason to use XAML).

  • How to log communication of a WebService running on IIS 6.0?

    I'm running an ASP.NET WebService on IIS 6.0 that shows a lot of HTTP 500 (probably just exceptions from the WebService) inside the log at %systemroot%\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 on a customers site. Is it possible to log the content of those HTTP responses and there requests without modifying the WebService using IIS or a plug-in for IIS? I thought of using Wireshark or Fiddler to sniff on the HTTP traffic but I would prefer to just turn on an option inside IIS to make him log the communication (this should not be to hard since it is logging the requested URLs anyway)
