• MS Chart Control Scale - Line graph show 12 months

  Hi, On my X Axis, I have months. The chart shows up to 11 points, i.e. Jan - Nov of the same year, but when I add 12 points (Jan - Dec), it will do an auto label thing and change the interval for every 4 months. How can I change the graph so that it shows 12 months before it does the auto labels? • Can't see why JavaMail doesn't work in a Spring MVC application on Tomcat

  I have wrote a small web application using Spring MVC. It runs on tomcat and use the JavaMail library. At the present time I can't find why the mails are not sent. But I have no pertinent log messages in tomcat log files to find where is the problem. At the present time, my logging is configured in a log4j.properties file in the root of my CLASSPATH: log4j.rootLogger= DEBUG, CONSOLE log4j.appender.CONSOLE=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender log4j.appender.CONSOLE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.CONSOLE.layout.ConversionPattern=%-4r [%t] %-5p %c %x - %m%n How can i see the java mail log message in debug mode ? I think it is related to JDK logging system (as I'm using Sun's JavaMail) but I don't know how to configure it. Edit: Well, one problem solves and another arises. The problem that the legend that is linked to my PieChart still shows the flex default colors and not the new colors from the PieChart series!   I'd like to build an app with a tabbar in the style of Tweetie 2/Twitter for iPhone (that is, images with no labels). I can't see a way to do it with normal UITabBarController/UITabBar, and my current thinking is that it's actually a UIToolbar with a custom view controller that is pushing and popping views from an array to simulate the UITabBarController's default behavior. Is this the approach that you all would recommend, or is there something more elegant that I'm overlooking?

  It could be a HTML question as well... I have a UIWebView with a page (from the hand made html string) loaded. For the url link on the page, if you tap on it, it has gray as background, which I think is the default behavior on iPhone. Is there a way to programmingly (thru javascript) change that to be other colors, say, blue? It doesn't seem to work for me anyhow.

• PyCharm: How to skip over closing braces / brackets / parentheses?

  This is driving me nuts. I can't get the auto-indentations to work properly unless I use the automatic closing of braces, et al (which I don't like), and I see no option allowing one to skip over/out. Eclipse has a configuration option for this, and Visual Studio doesn't auto-close everything by default, but rather formats the code block after manually entering the closing brace (which I think is perfect). Surely there's something apart from going all the way over to the "End" key?

  I have encountered several websites where the initial visit by a user results in a http-equiv refresh to another (usually gibberish) url, which then promptly redirects (302) to another gibberish url, which in turn immediately redirects to yet a fourth url that actually displays the landing page for the site. My question is: what the heck? Why would a server be set up to behave this way? • Is there a good way to style an unordered list (loaded from XML) in Flash?

  I'm loading the XML into a text field as htmlText. The StyleSheet class in Flash only supports CSS1–which debuted in 1996!–and doesn't support list-style-type or list-style-image. I'd specifically like to substitute an image instead of the default disc for an unordered list. If you've had success implementing a work-around, I'd love to hear about it!

  I'm putting together a custom SynchronizedCollection<T> class so that I can have a synchronized Observable collection for my WPF application. The synchronization is provided via a ReaderWriterLockSlim, which, for the most part, has been easy to apply. The case I'm having trouble with is how to provide thread-safe enumeration of the collection. Is my only option to document the class with a caveat implementer reminding the consumer to call Dispose if using the Enumerator explicitly or is there a way to safely release the lock during finalization? I'm thinking not, since the finalizer doesn't even run on the same thread, but I was curious if there other ways to improve this.
