  U.K. that require addresses often ask the user to provide a postcode. The site then offers the user a choice between the addresses that match that postcode. Where do these sites get the data to do this? Are there webservices that match postcodes to addresses? Do sites buy a database of addresses that they then query locally?

  Hi, i have a pictures table : pictures(articleid,pictureurl) And an articles table : articles(id,title,category) So, briefly, every article has a picture, and i link pictures with article using articleid column. now i want to select 5 pictures of articles in politic category. i think that can be done using IN but i can't figure out how to do it. Note: Please only one query, because i can do it by selecting articles firstly then getting the pictures. Thanks

  I have this varchar format as time accumulation and i want to convert it to an integer to do a SUM and get the total time for a group. The fist part which may be 1, 2, 3, 4 or even five digits represent the accumulation of Hours and then seperated by a colon. then come the second part which is accumulation of minutes and last accumulation of seconds (2 digits each). How to convert this to integer in one query if possile.

I want to create a report which shows the types of cases in each month by taking a date range as a parameter through prompts. If I close this database connection in the provider, the cursor has no results. If I leave it open, I get "leak found" errors in my DDMS log. What am I missing here?   i create a view table like : CREATE VIEW ViewManager AS SELECT us.UserId AS 'Account Manager', ......... after that, when i run a query to select data from this view like : SELECT 'Account Manager' , .. from ViewManager then the data i get in this column is the text 'Account Manager' and not the value of the this columns. Is there a way to solve this ? Of course I can change the field name , but i want to know if there is another solution, thanks.
