  • Trying to 'Make' CUDA SDK, ld cannot find library, ldconfig says it can.

    I know there are many other questions similar to this one, but none of the solutions posited there are working for me Basically, making the SDK sample files, i get /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lcuda which would be an easy enough 'find the library and throw it to ldconfig', except ldconfig already says it has it... $ sudo ldconfig -v | grep cuda /usr/local/cuda/lib64: libcudartemu.so.3 -> libcudartemu.so.3.0.14 libcudart.so.3 -> libcudart.so.3.0.14 /usr/local/cuda/lib: libcudartemu.so.3 -> libcudartemu.so.3.0.14 libcudart.so.3 -> libcudart.so.3.0.14 libcuda.so.1 -> libcuda.so.195.36.15 libcuda.so.1 -> libcuda.so.195.36.15 libicudata.so.42 -> libicudata.so.42.1 And I checked, there is a symlink libcuda.so -> libcuda.so.1 but I'm still confused as to why libcuda.so -> ... doesnt show up I must be missing something really obvious. Any ideas?

  • Creating a simple templated control. Having issues...

    Hi, I'm trying to create a really simple templated control. I've never done it before, but I know a lot of my controls I have created in the past would have greatly benefited if I included templating ability - so I'm learning now. The problem I have is that my template is outputted on the page but my property value is not. So all I get is the static text which I include in my template. I must be doing something correctly because the control doesn't cause any errors, so it knows my public property exists. (e.g. if I try to use Container.ThisDoesntExist it throws an exception). I'd appreciate some help on this. I may be just being a complete muppet and missing something. Online tutorials on simple templated server controls seem few and far between, so if you know of one I'd like to know about it. A cut down version of my code is below.     Ok, so I have the following nav with absolute urls: <ul class="nav navbar-nav" id="main-menu"> <li class="first active"><a href="http://example.com/" title="Home">Home</a></li> <li><a href="http://example.com/about.html" title="About">About</a></li> <li><a href="http://example.com/portfolio.html" title="Portfolio">Portfolio</a></li> <li class="last"><a href="example.com/contact.html" title="Contact">Contact</a></li> </ul> and then articles with the following data attributes: <article class="row page" id="about" data-url="http://example.com/about.html"> <div class="one"> </div> <div class="two" </div> </article> and when you click the link in the menu I would like to ignore the fact it is a hyperlink and slide to the current article based on its attribute data-url. I started with what I think is the obvious: $('#main-menu li a').on('click', function(event) { event.preventDefault(); var pageUrl = $(this).attr('href'); )}; and have tried find and animate but then I don't know how to reference the article with data-url="http://example.com/about.html".   • FLTK in Cygwin using Eclipse (Linking errors)

    I have this assignment due that requires the usage of FLTK. The code is given to us and it should compile straight off of the bat, but I am having linking errors and do not know which other libraries I need to include. I currently have "opengl32", "fltk_gl", "glu32", and "fltk" included (-l), each of which seem to reduce the number of errors. I compiled FLTK using make with no specified options. Including all of the produced library files doesn't fix the problem, and I'm convinced that it's just some Windows specific problem.   • What CPAN module can send all warnings and errors to a log file?

    I'm maintaining some website code that currently dumps all errors and warnings into the apache log. This is a problem for me as i cannot access that due to lack of root. As such I am looking to redirect all warnings and errors to a specified log file under my control. I'd like to do so without preventing those messages from going through their usual patch of execution. Now, before i spend a lot of time fiddling with the Perl internals and possibly breaking things unawares I thought I'd look for a CPAN module that does this. However, I either do not know how to properly search for this, or I am overlooking something and thus cannot find any module that seems suitable. Thus my asking here: What CPAN module would i use for this task?

    I normally use Firefox and have had no problems with the admin page on my Django website. But I use Emacs23 for writing my posts, and wanted to be able to use w3m in Emacs to copy the stuff across. When I try to log into my admin pages, it gives the CSRF error: CSRF verification failed. Request aborted. Help Reason given for failure: No CSRF or session cookie. ... Is there a way that I could get w3m to work with my admin page? I am not sure if the problem lies with the way the admin is set up on Django or with the Emacs or w3m settings.

    I have a aspx page which contains a User Control uc1 ans within uc1, there is another user control uc2. Now I need to call a javascript function in the uc2's page load. (I understand that the Pages are not properly designed, but I am sorry as this is an old application, I am not supposed to make any changes in the design) I am doing this using ScriptManager.RegisterStartUpScript as I have an update panel, but the function is not being called and the script error "load is not defined" is fired.   • Fixing warning from git

    I've been doing a workflow of making a git repository on a remote central repository, cloning that repo on my local dev machine, doing some work, and then pushing the changes back to the same repo on the remote server. However, and I believe this was after an update I did to git recently, after pushing up a change, I'm getting the following warning: Counting objects: 2724, done. Delta compression using up to 2 threads. Compressing objects: 100% (2666/2666), done. Writing objects: 100% (2723/2723), 5.90 MiB | 313 KiB/s, done. Total 2723 (delta 219), reused 0 (delta 0) warning: updating the currently checked out branch; this may cause confusion, as the index and working tree do not reflect changes that are now in HEAD. Can someone explain to me exactly what this warning means, and what I'm doing wrong in my workflow to not receive this warning?

  • skip-limit ignored for skippable exception thrown from writer

    i am working on a project with spring batch 2.0.2 and have skippable exception set up in the config. for exceptions thrown from the processor everything works fine. it skips and once the limit is execeed the job fails (or stops). for exceptions thrown from the writer (same chunk) it keeps skipping. the skip-limit doesnt seem to matter. maybe i missunderstood and skipping and writer don't go together or maybe i am missing a configuration. does anyone know how to skip issues - with a limit - within the writer properly?

I'm getting this: Notice: Use of undefined constant CURLOPT_PROTOCOLS - assumed 'CURLOPT_PROTOCOLS' in C:\notion\implementation\development\asterix\library\ExternalLibs\panda.php on line 69 Notice: Use of undefined constant CURLPROTO_HTTP - assumed 'CURLPROTO_HTTP' in C:\notion\implementation\development\asterix\library\ExternalLibs\panda.php on line 69 The code on line 69: curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_PROTOCOLS, CURLPROTO_HTTP); But the CURL code works, it goes off to the other server and retrieves whats necessary. What do these notices mean? Thanks very much.

  • Float: left not showing up after a certain point.

    http://test.jptgraphics.com/products?cat=APPAREL This works fine in Safari but shows incorrectly in the latest version of Firefox ( was fine in 3.5) and in some versions of IE. In the middle column the product thumbnails drop down below when the 'float: left;' parameter is used. It is as if it is being escaped by a tag from that point forward no 'float: left's work and all the items are centered moving forward.

    Hey Guys, analogue to this one (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2788345/replacing-xml-in-file-from-document-in-java or http://www.exampledepot.com/egs/javax.xml.transform/WriteDom.html) I try to use it under Android... The problem is, that I can't use the suggested solution under android, because it throws java.lang.verifyError... After reading a little bit, I found out, that the class that was used to store the data to file, is not usable in android... can you suggest another solution, which is similar easy to use?

  • Strange EListError occurance (when accessing variable-defined index)

    Hi, I have a TList which stores some objects. Now I have a function which does some operations on that list: function SomeFunct(const AIndex: integer): IInterface begin if (AIndex > -1) and (AIndex < fMgr.Windows.Count ) then begin if (fMgr.Windows[AIndex] <> nil) then begin if not Supports(TForm(fMgr.Windows[AIndex]), IMyFormInterface, result) then result:= nil; end; end else result:= nil; end; now, what is really strange is that accessing fMgr.Windows with any proper index causes EListError... However if i hard-code it (in example, replace AIndex with value 0 or 1) it works fine. I tried debugging it, the function gets called twice, with arguments 0 and 1 (as supposed). while AIndex = 0, evaluating fMgr.Windows[AIndex] results in EListError at $someAddress, while evaluating fMgr.Windws[0] instead - returns proper results ... what is even more strange, even though there is an EListError, the function returns proper data ... and doesn't show anything. Just info on two EListError memory leaks on shutdown (using FastMM) any ideas what could be wrong?! Thanks in advance michal
