• Running a method for infinitely in google app engine/Gwt

  I am having a a method which listens continuously to a stream from a server and writes that data to datastore in google app which is later on retrieved by other methods. How can i do that in google app engine i.e calling that method one time during the starting of app and having it running for unlimited time without affecting other things. I am new to java world,So please help from that point of view also.How's that done in Java?

  I want to add a shortcut to the start menu group with following specifications: It should point to a website, say www.xyz.com It should have some custom icon I need to pass some parameters to it, like www.xyz.com?lang=XXXX. Where XXXX is language code e.g. 1033, 1036, etc. and it's dependent on the language chosen by the user for my application. Please help.

• Fireworks CS4 download link?

  I'm trying to find a trial download link for Fireworks CS4 for windows and it has apparently disappeared off the face of the internet. The adobe site only has a "Coming soon" placeholder for CS5, and most of the other usual suspects like softpedia and brothersoft just redirect you to adobe.   Let's say I have intercepted a packet from Netfilter and subsequently returned NF_STOLEN. At some point I want to re-inject that packet back to, in this case, the TCP stream it came from. • How can I configure apigee to fail stale if the backend is unavialble?

  We have an API proxy configured with cache ttl of 2mins. Is it possible to configure apigee to serve stale cached content if the backend goes down so that our end users don't see errors? We would rather have our end users get copies of stale cached content (even after the configured ttl of 2mins expires) instead of errors when the backend goes down. Would appreciate if someone could point me to the relevant documentation if this is possible.

• Intents? How to register to be alerted for incoming emails?

  Extreme Android developer newbie here...well, new to Android development, not development in general. I want to write an application that gets notified when emails come into the device, and takes various actions based on data in the email (subject, sender, to, etc). I think what I have to do is create a BroadcastReceiver with an IntentFilter. The problem I'm having is figuring out what Intent(s) I need to "listen" for. Can anyone point me in the right direction? • jQuery with divs that can't be found even searching by its id

  I have a piece of html/javascript written in jQuery at http://pastebin.com/MzMPjtvF My issue is the divs with images in them will only show up until $('.platform').hide() is ran, to the point that those divs won't even show up in $('.platform'). I was able to create and happy with the result, but in some point I'm having problem positioning some elements. see sample illustration here: http://christianruado.comuf.com/images/demo.jpg The right side which is green contains two elements the top and the bottom, my problem was how can set the height of the green container to always align with the footer? I want to align the bottom part to be aligned with the footer regardless the content of the center container?

My problem is that using the MouseMove event, I don't have a continuous set of points if the user moves the mouse fast enough (if I add each point in a list I can have (10,10) en then (20,20)...)
