  During weekend maintenance, members of the support team executed an UPDATE statement against the database on the OLTP Server. This database was a part of Transactional Replication, and once the UPDATE statement was executed the Replication procedure came to a halt with an error message. They allow the user to type code in say Ruby or Python, this is then sent to the server and the output posted back to the browser. Are there libraries available for in-browser code validation? How would you approach this? Suggestions?

  I'm trying to use Java to construct a SPARQL query, and then send it off to a remote database. However, I'm new to both Java and SPARQL, so I was wondering if anyone could explain how to do this, rather than just posting a link. I heard there is a tool called jsqlparser for the same task, except that it's for a SQL to SPARQL conversion using Java. Conversion nor parser won't be necessary, just a method for constructing a query and querying the database provided by the user.
