Instead, it appears that the form is submitting by a post request. When I look at the generated HTML, I have this: <form action="/find/AdminMember/MemberList" method="post"> Search for in Screen Name and Email: <input id="keyword" name="keyword" type="text" value="" /> <button type=submit>Search</button> </form> Does anyone know why? This seems pretty simple and straighforward to me.

    Hai, I wrote the coding for add / remove the default documents of IIS7 in vb.net 2.0 windows application using Microsoft.Web.Administration.dll. The coding is working fine. After adding a new document, the messagebox showing that newly added document name. Simillarly if I remove any document, the messagebox not showing that document name. So that I am saying, the coding is working fine. Now the problem is, I can't see the newly added document name in II7 Manager GUI. The next proplem is, my website not access that newly added document. Please can any body suggest for these problems. What the mistake I did the vb.net 2.0 windows application coding and what are the modifications I need to do? Thanks in advance.

  • Why does Color.IsNamedColor not work when I create a color using Color.FromArgb()?

    In my app I allow the user to build a color, and then show him the name or value of the color later on. If the user picks red (full red, not red-ish), I want to show him "red". If he picks some strange color, then the hex value would be just fine. Here's sample code that demonstrates the problem: static string GetName(int r, int g, int b) { Color c = Color.FromArgb(r, g, b); // Note that specifying a = 255 doesn't make a difference if (c.IsNamedColor) { return c.Name; } else { // return hex value } } Even with very obvious colors like red IsNamedColor never returns true. Looking at the ARGB values for my color and Color.Red, I see no difference. However, calling Color.Red.GetHashCode() returns a different hash code than Color.FromArgb(255, 0, 0).GetHashCode(). How can I create a color using user specified RGB values and have the Name property come out right?

    Hi all, I have a UserControl called Beetle.xaml which has animation makeing the legs move. So far so good. I added this to my Background.xaml page by decaring the xmlns and xaml as: xmlns:my="clr-namespace:Intellident.Liber8.GUI.Theme.Jungle" and <my:Beetle VerticalAlignment="Bottom" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="180,0,0,175"> <UserControl.RenderTransform> <MatrixTransform x:Name="trnBeetle" /> </UserControl.RenderTransform> </my:Beetle> However I get errors telling me that I can't declare my:Name as I'm in the wrong scope. I can't declare my:Name as this doesn't exist. How do I do this, I want to create a path animation on the beetle to make him walk around... Ta, Matt.     I have an Java method I want to call within my Jython servlet running on tomcat5. It looks like this: @SuppressWarnings("unchecked") public School loadByName(String name) { List<School> school; school = getHibernateTemplate().find("from " + getPersistentClass().getName() + " where name = ?", name); return uniqueResult(school); } I call it in Jython using: foobar = SchoolDAOHibernate.loadByName('Univeristy') It throws an error that says loadByName() expects 2 args; got 1. What other argument could it be looking for?

  • Web App fails when moved to production environment. Which server permissions do I need?

    I have developed a small web app. This app allows users to upload images. It also produces text files with the names of those images (the names are stored and retrieved to/from an MySQL Database.) I have developed this app using MAMP. To create the uploaded image files I use the PHP function imagejpeg('my/path/name.jpg') and to delete the files I use the PHP function unlink('folder1/folder2/name.jpg') to write to the text document I am using the function fopen('folder1/folder2/name.txt', 'w') all three of these functions produce errors related to permissions - now the site has been moved to a live hosting environment. Why is this? and what permissions do I need to set the folder's folder1 and folder2 to? I know that permission 777 is generally bad because it opens up your server to the public. However what I have found is that the functions fail to work unless I use 777 on the folders. Can anyone shed any light on my dilemma?

    I'm trying not to fight the defaults here and use Rails built-in support for nested attributes (from http://ryandaigle.com/articles/2009/2/1/what-s-new-in-edge-rails-nested-attributes). I'm labeling Things with Tags, and all works swell, and for each Thing I have a form with a nested field that creates a new Tag by a name. Trouble is, I need to make sure that each Tag has a unique name. Instead of creating a new Tag, if a user enters the name of one that already exists, I need to create the associate with that pre-existing Tag. How do I do this?

    I am trying to run this code: ItemTaxonomy iTaxonomy = from itemTaxonomy in connection.ItemTaxonomy where itemTaxonomy.Item.ID == itemView.ID orderby itemTaxonomy.Taxonomy.Name select itemTaxonomy; When I compiled it I get the error: Cannot implicitly convert type 'System.Linq.IOrderedQueryable<Website.Models.ItemTaxonomy>' to 'Website.Models.ItemTaxonomy'. An explicit conversion exists (are you missing a cast?) I believe the issue is with orderby itemTaxonomy.Taxonomy.Name but I am just trying to order by the name of Taxonomy items instead of their IDs. Is there a way to do that?

    i have SOQL query which queries for some records based on a where condition. select id, name,account.name ... <other fields> from opportunity where eventname__c='Test Event' i also need to get the related contact details for the account in the opportunity. ie i need to add the email ids of contact who all are part of the account in the opportunity. For each opportunity, i need to get all the contacts emailids who are associated with the account in opportunity. I cant really figure out how to approach this. referring the documentation i can get the contact info of a account using the query SELECT Name, ( SELECT LastName FROM Contacts ) FROM Account How can i use this along with opportunity?   • cannot access localhost using ip

    I have done a small web development project using eclipse. It runs well when I try running it on browser with url localhost:8080/myproject/home.html. But if I want to access it on another machine (laptop, mobile, etc. using the same wifi) it is not possible; it is not able to connect. After Googling for a while found out that I have to use the IP address instead of 'localhost'. So I tried 10.0.0.4:8080/myproject/home.html, but still does not work. In fact i am unable to open that url on the same machine (where localhost:8080/myproject/home.html works fine). I also added a new Inbound rule in control panel firewall settings, allowing access to all ports for protocol TCP. Still have problem in running application with the url 10.0.0.4:8080/myproject/home.html (both on same machine as well as laptop and mobile).   • Any "trick" to use some keys to launch an application?

    Hello, I am currently developing an free application (TaskOS ) that allow users to have multitasking and switch easily between applications on their mobile ( like alt+tab in Windows ) That work pretty well and user can launch my application by a long press on the "search" button" by adding this line in the manifest: <action android:name="android.intent.action.SEARCH_LONG_PRESS" /> I also succeed to allow to the users to Use the camera button ( they can of course disable that in application settings) and the way to do that is slighlty different: <receiver android:name=".CameraPressed"> <intent-filter android:priority="10000"> <action android:name="android.intent.action.CAMERA_BUTTON"/> </intent-filter> I am now wondering if there are other ways to launch easily my task switcher? ( long press on Home key, long press on trackball, or any other idea.) Reading the Google documentation does not help me a lot. Any other idea/suggestion would be warmly welcome. Christophe

Why is this necessary? Is there a way to suppress this? Thanks! Edit: This code tested on x86 machine with g++ version 4.1.2. If you wish to run it on a 64-bit machine, you'll have to change at least the line return malloc(24). Changing to return malloc(48) should work.

  • Why does UMN-Mapserver shows an ERDAS Image-File (.img) as white shape?

    I want to render an ERDAS-Image-file (suffix .img) with the UMN-Mapserver. The data is rendered on the right position and with the correct shape, but all data is white instead of an raster-image. The Image contains many layers.   • Ant: make "available" throw an understandable error?

    When running ant, how do I make an <available /> block throw an adequate error message? This is what I have so far: <target name="requirements"> <available classname="foo.bar.baz" property="baz.present" /> </target> <target name="directories" depends="requirements" if="baz.present"> <mkdir dir="build" /> </target> <target name="compile" depends="directories"> <!-- build some stuff --> </target> What I'm currently seeing when requirements fails is a message complaining about the ./build dir not being available. How can I change this so that a message is displayed about the missing class, such as "foo.bar.baz is not available"?

I want to iterate through it and find all the 'name' attributes. My code looks like: response["groups"]["Nearby"]["venues"].each do |key| logger.debug key['name'] end But I keep on getting error: TypeError (can't convert String into Integer): I am on ruby 1.9.

    Alright so my terminology when it comes to C# isn't great, so I'll attempt to explain this with a small example. If you create a class which you are using within a PropertyGrid and you have the following values: class Test { public Point example { get; set; } } This will produce a PropertyGrid which has an expandable object "example" which has fields X and Y in order to create a "Point". I'm attempting to create an object "name" which has fields "firstname" and "lastname", so I have: class Test { public Name example { get; set; } } public struct Name { public string firstname { get; set; } public string lastname { get; set; } } This however isn't working as intended. I think I need to override some method(s) in order to get this working, however since I don't really have the terminology down for PropertyGrids it is difficult for me to find a solution. Any help would be great.

    Hi, I am trying to remove all the files in a directory hierarchy which a certain string inside the file (not the file name, it is the file content). I can list out all the file name which has a string in the file using 'grep -r -l mystringlooking for'. But how can I remove all the files returned by the grep ? I am trying this on ubuntu.
