  • Sharepoint survey: How to identify the question fields when fetching survey information from the Lis

    I am wanting to access survey information via the Lists web service and display the questions contained in the survey. The result contains a large number of Field nodes some of which are the questions in the survey. The other fields contain other information such as author, last changed etc. How can I pick out the questions? I had thought that all non-questions would be hidden but this is not the case. Here is my code as it is at the moment. It returns about 16 items. I don't want the URL to show the action name and parameter. I simply want to show "Summary" which is what I have hard coded in the URL. How do I achieve this?

  • Django site on Nginx+FastCGI goes (504 gateway timeout)

    Sometimes my whole Django based site goes into 504 gateway timeout errors so none page can be displayed. Is it possible to write a shell program and cronjob it run every 5 minutes to detect such errors and restart FastCGI process if needed? I'm currently using command below to restart FastCGI in case it's crashed but it doesn't work for above situation because when 504 gateway errors occur, the processes are still running. ps ax | grep -v grep | grep port=8001 > /dev/null || restart_fcgi.sh

  • Can't send client certificate via SslStream

    I am doing an SSL3 handshake using an SslStream, but, in spite of my best efforts, the SslStream never sends a client certificate on my behalf. Here is the code: SSLConnection = new System.Net.Security.SslStream(SSLInOutStream, false, new System.Net.Security.RemoteCertificateValidationCallback(AlwaysValidRemoteCertificate), new System.Net.Security.LocalCertificateSelectionCallback(ChooseLocalCertificate)); X509CertificateCollection CC = new X509CertificateCollection(); CC.Add(Org.BouncyCastle.Security.DotNetUtilities.ToX509Certificate(MyLocalCertificate)); SSLConnection.AuthenticateAsClient("test", CC, System.Security.Authentication.SslProtocols.Ssl3, false); and then I have AlwaysValidRemoteCertificate just returning true, and ChooseLocalCertificate returning the zeroth element of the array. The code probably looks a little weird because the project is a little weird, but I think that is beside the point here. The SSL handshake completes. The issue is that instead of sending a certificate message on my behalf (in the handshake process), with the ASN.1 encoded certificate (MyLocalCertificate), the SslStream sends an SSL alert number 41 (no certificate) and then carries on. I know this from packet sniffing. After the handshake is completed, the SslStream marks IsAuthenticated as true, IsMutuallyAuthenticated as false, and its LocalCertificate member is null. I feel like I'm probably missing something pretty obvious here, so any ideas would be appreciated. I am a novice with SSL, and this project is off the beaten path, so I am kind of at a loss. P.S. 1: My ChooseLocalCertificate routine is called twice during the handshake, and returns a valid (as far as I can tell), non-null certificate both times. P.S. 2: SSLInOutStream is my own class, not a NetworkStream. Like I said, though, the handshake proceeds mostly normally, so I doubt this is the culprit... but who knows?

  • Problems with native Win32api RichEdit control and its IRichEditOle interface

As part of writing custom command (dll with class that implements Interwoven command interface) for one of Interwoven Worksite dialog boxes,I need to extract information from RichEdit textbox. The only connection to the existing dialog box is its HWND handle; Seemingly trivial task , but I got stuck : Using standard win32 api functions (like GetDlgItemText) returns empty string. After using Spy++ I noticed that the dialog box gets IRichEditOle interface and seems to encapsulate the string into OLE object. Here is what I tried to do: IRichEditOle richEditOleObj = null; IntPtr ppv = IntPtr.Zero; Guid guid = new Guid("00020D00-0000-0000-c000-000000000046"); Marshal.QueryInterface(pRichEdit, ref guid, out ppv); richEditOleObj = (IRichEditOle)Marshal.GetTypedObjectForIUnknown(ppv,typeof(IRichEditOle)); judging by GetObjectCount() method of the interface there is exactly one object in the textbox - most likely the string I need to extract. Now since I know only basic stuff about COM and OLE , I guess I am missing something important here. I would appreciate any thoughts suggestions or remarks.

    I'm trying to publish stuff to someone's wall. It works, but I'm also trying to use the auto_publish feature so the user will only get one popup granting the publish_stream extended permission. So I set streamPublish's auto_publish to true, but I still get the popup asking me if I want to publish and/or edit the message. What am I doing wrong?   • Syncronization Exception

    Hi I have two threads, one thread processes a queue and the other thread adds stuff into the queue. I want to put the queue processing thread to sleep when its finished processing the queue I want to have the 2nd thread tell it to wake up when it has added an item to the queue However these functions call System.Threading.SynchronizationLockException: Object synchronization method was called from an unsynchronized block of code on the Monitor.PulseAll(waiting); call, because I havent syncronized the function with the waiting object. [which I dont want to do, i want to be able to process while adding items to the queue]. How can I achieve this?   • Proxy is created, and interceptor is in the __interceptors array, but the interceptor is never calle

    This is the first time I've used interceptors with the fluent registration and I'm missing something. With the following registration, I can resolve an IProcessingStep, and it's a proxy class and the interceptor is in the __interceptors array, but for some reason, the interceptor is not called. Any ideas what I'm missing?   • GridViewColumn not subscribing to PropertyChanged event in a ListView

    I have a ListView with a GridView that's bound to the properties of a class that implements INotifyPropertyChanged, like this: <ListView Name="SubscriptionView" Grid.Column="0" Grid.ColumnSpan="2" Grid.Row="2" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=Subscriptions}"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Width="24" CellTemplate="{StaticResource IncludeSubscriptionTemplate}"/> <GridViewColumn Width="150" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Path=Name}" Header="Subscription"/> <GridViewColumn Width="75" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Path=RecordsWritten}" Header="Records"/> <GridViewColumn Width="Auto" CellTemplate="{StaticResource FilenameTemplate}"/> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> The class looks like this: public class Subscription : INotifyPropertyChanged { public int RecordsWritten { get { return _records; } set { _records = value; if (PropertyChanged != null) PropertyChanged(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs("RecordsWritten")); } } private int _records; ... } So I fire up a BackgroundWorker and start writing records, updating the RecordsWritten property and expecting the value to change in the UI, but it doesn't. In fact, the value of PropertyChanged on the Subscription objects is null. This is a puzzler, because I thought WPF is supposed to subscribe to the PropertyChanged event of data objects that implement INotifyPropertyChanged. Am I doing something wrong here?

  • Doctrine unsigned validation error storing created_at

    Hi, I'm having problems with the Timestampable functionality in Doctrine 1.2.2. The error I get on trying to save() my Record is: Uncaught exception 'Doctrine_Validator_Exception' with message 'Validation failed in class XXX 1 field had validation error: * 1 validator failed on created_at (unsigned) ' in ... I've created the relevant field in the MySQL table as: created_at DATETIME NOT NULL, Then in setTableDefinition() I have: $this->hasColumn('created_at', 'timestamp', null, array( 'type' => 'timestamp', 'fixed' => false, 'unsigned' => false, 'primary' => false, 'notnull' => true, 'autoincrement' => false, )); Which is taken straight from the output of generateModelsFromDb(). And finally my setUp() looks like: public function setUp() { parent::setUp(); $this->actAs('Timestampable', array( 'created' => array( 'name' => 'created_at', 'type' => 'timestamp', 'format' => 'Y-m-d H:i:s', 'disabled' => false, 'options' => array() ), 'updated' => array( 'disabled' => true ))); } (I've tried not defining all of those fields for 'created', but I get the same problem.) I'm a bit stumped as to what I'm doing wrong - for one thing I can't see why Doctrine would be running any unsigned checks against a 'timestamp' datatype... Any help gratefully received! Alex

    Using the following Java code to compress/decompress bytes[] to/from GZIP. Also I noticed that in the standard C# function that BitConverter reads the first four bytes and then the MemoryStream Write function is called with a start point of 4 and a length of input buffer length - 4.   • inbound/outbound url routing in asp.net MVC

    The routing I need is quite simple, I must be missing something there. As code example I put the simpler situation where I can reproduce my behavior. You have this ActionMethod : public ActionResult Index(string provider) { ViewData["Message"] = provider; return View("Index"); } And you have this route : routes.MapRoute( null, "{controller}/{action}/{provider}", new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", provider = "Default" } ); // Parameter defaults You can call /Home/Index/Custom and provider will take the value "Custom" What Route would I need if I want the url /?provider=Custom to map the provider to the parameter. I thought that would just work, because the default controller and the default action would be used, and the provider from the querystring would be used instead of the default one. but the querystring is just ignored here. That's a problem in my situation as I have a form using HTTP GET method. The form action has to be Html.BeginForm(c=c.Index(null)) which is resolved as / and the value of my form are added in the querystring. (the provider being a dropdown in the form) So the url built by the form is /?abc=value&cde=value...

  • Div overflow not hidden properly

    Hi guys, I'm working on this site - http://dev.chriscurddesign.co.uk/mayday It works in everything other than IE7 and IE8 in compatibility mode (don't care about IE6), where the vacancies lists on the right aren't hidden correctly by their parent overflow property. I have been pulling my hair out trying to get to the bottom of this, its driving me up the wall, anyone got any ideas whatsoever?   • StackOverFlowException - but oviously NO recursion/endless loop

    Hi there, I'm now blocked by this problem the entire day, read thousands of google results, but nothing seems to reflect my problem or even come near to it... i hope any of you has a push into the right direction for me. I wrote a client-server-application (so more like 2 applications) - the client collects data about his system, as well as a screenshot, serializes all this into a XML stream (the picture as a byte[]-array]) and sends this to the server in regular intervals. The server receives the stream (via tcp), deserializes the xml to an information-object and shows the information on a windows form. This process is running stable for about 20-25 minutes at a submission interval of 3 seconds. When observing the memory usage there's nothing significant to see, also kinda stable. But after these 20-25 mins the server throws a StackOverflowException at the point where it deserializes the tcp-stream, especially when setting the Image property from the byte[]-array.
