  • Script to reorder ACLs in Windows server 2008?

    I have ran a tool called admnalow.exe that re-grants access to the local administrators (BUILTIN\Administrators) group for all directories and subdirectories in a given path. The problem is it seems to have caused the ACL's to be ordered improperly. I've been looking everywhere and have been unable to find a .vbs or any other script that will parse through a set of directories and reorder the ACLs. This can be done manually but would be incomprehensible for thousands of directories. Can anyone help?!?!

    I need some help, my server provider contacted me to tell me my server was using 200mbit/s bandwidth. Upon investigation I found processes for a user that should not be there.. I found processes as follows: 26269 511 Nov27 ./stealth 58.22.68.253 53 775 511 Oct12 ./eggdrop -m botnick.conf I know eggdrop is IRC, my question is, where can I find out where the software has been installed for these processes?

    Hi I want to install rsync on windows xp. I have searched the web, but most of the solutions suggest using cygwin, but is there any other way to do this? I don't want to install cygwin because it takes lot of space. Moreover, I need to make it communicate with a rsync daemon on Linux, therefore alternatives to rsync on windows won't help. Thanks

VirtualBox 4.2.18 Host OS: Windows 7 Guest OS: Ubuntu 12.04 Networking: Bridged Adaptor I can ping Host and other machines in host's network from ubuntu guest using hostnames. But, I can only ping the guest machine using IP address from host and network machines. I have avahi-daemon running on Guest OS. I want to be able to ping/ssh the guest machine from host and other machines on network using hostname of the guest machine. Please help.

For example, I want to change the following PassengerPoolIdleTime 0 RailsFrameworkSpawnerIdleTime 0 Where does this go? Putting it in my nginx config causes unknown directive errors.

  • Trying to upgrade SQL Server 2008 to R2 but SQL is sleeping or dead?

    I've used the option to upgrade SQL Server 2008 to R2 but I noticed it gets to about 20-30% and it just sits on this screen: I've left it alone for over 2 hours, the PC is definately not frozen cause I can click the help or move the window around but it says "Install_sql_common_core_loc_Cpu64_1033_action: Install Files. Copying new files" for the past 2 hours. I have tried to do the install from a CD as well as a network drive, both with the same issue. Is there anything I can check or do ?

  • Supervisord: how to append to $PATH

    I can't seem to figure out how to append to the default path in a supervisord program config. I can reset the path: environment=PATH="/home/site/environments/master/bin" But when I try: environment=PATH="/home/site/environments/master/bin:$PATH" I see that supervisord doesn't evaluate $PATH. Google wasn't a big help on this for some reason, I cannot believe I'm the first person to need this. Supervisord must have support for this, any idea what it is?

    Is there a way to completely remove Mac OS X from MacBook Pro and replace it with Windows 7? I’m not talking about Boot Camp, I’m talking about completely wiping disk of any files and partitioning it for Windows installation. Any BIOS, booting, compatibility problems? I know it’s rare to replace Mac OS X for Windows, but I have this one situation where this is needed so I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

I mean everything. But still no luck running the file. I was also trying to find a converter to convert the file into an acceptable format. But unable to do that either. Can anyone help me with this.     I am trying to compile PHP on Ubuntu 12.10 with LDAP support. I have run: apt-get install libldap2-dev That installs the header files to /usr/include. However, when attempting to compile it is unable to locate the header files. I have tried to with --with-ldap=/usr/include as well and it still fails with: configure: error: Cannot find ldap.h I also tried symlinking with the following and I still get the same error: ln -s /usr/lib/ldap* /usr/lib/ Thanks in advance for your help.
