  In MySQL , my sql is like following SELECT * , IF( `Word` = 'sim', 1, IF( `Word` LIKE 'sim%', 2, IF( `Word` LIKE '%sim', 4, 3 ) ) ) AS `sort` FROM `dblist` WHERE `Word` LIKE '%sim%' ORDER BY `sort` , `Word` This sql is not working in SQlite. I want to do result order. SELECT * FROM dblist where word like 'sim' or word like 'sim%' or word like '%sim%' or word like '%sim' equal sim is a frist , sim% is second and %sim% is a thrid and then %sim is a last. Currently I can't sort like mysql in sqlite. How to change sql to order the result ?

• Unable to add certificate to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities in Windows 7

• Strange behavior when changing default shell, and setting explorer.exe as winlogon shell for specific user

  I use a custom logon shell on a machine (windows 7) for security reasons - which works fine by altering HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\shell. However, I also want that the administrator will still be able to manage the machine, so I modified the user specific key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\shell back to explorer.exe - but when I log on I get a single windows explorer window, and not the full desktop. does any one know how to configure the normal desktop shell only to a specific user?

  Quick question: I have a situation where I need to let multiple people on different PCs log into one server 2008 machine as administrator simultaneously over remote desktop. I have the CALs for it, it's just not set up correctly. When one user tries to log in, it boots the other out. What I need is to present to them a different session, just each as logged in as admin. • How to load powershell profile from cygwin bash?

  So in cygwin bash I am able to type "powershell" to bring me into a powershell prompt but it won't load my powershell profile.ps1 due to not being able to execute scripts, but I can't set the execution policy in this prompt... So I tried running the default powershell prompt (as administrator) and was able to set the execution policy to remote signed, but it doesn't affect the powershell within bash what am I missing?

  I'm using Delphi 7 and can't predict the target version of Windows. I need to create a database (probably MySql, but might be something else) and define some table structures. I do not need to populate any data. Unfortunately, all of the ADO components seem to expect that a database already exists and they will then allow you to manipulate it. So, since it's only a few simple commands, I thought that I might as well use ShellExectute(). Agree? Disagree? Can anyone give me a sample code which will attempt to run "MySql --version" and let me check the result? After that I should be able to figure it out for myself. Thanks.

  Greetings! I run into a problem/bug in production environment with SQL Error: 1104 when deploying a project secured with the ACL tutorial. The full error: SQL Error: 1104: The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay [CORE/cake/libs/model/datasources/dbo_source.php, line 666] I've build a small site, worked through the ACL tutorial from the official cake book and locally everything is spiffy. dev. setup consists of: XAMPP: myslq 5.1.33, php 5.3 cakePHP 1.2.7 prod. setup: mysql 5.0.33 php 5.2.2 One of the differences I noticed with mysql setup between local and production servers, is that SQL_BIG_SELECTS is disabled on the production server ( and I don't have privileges to change that, posted a support ticked, didn't hear anything yet) Is there anything I can do about this from my end?   My project is a computer vision java application which should implement the following : A web interface through which the form entry+images(for example a student data) will be stored into a database(Mysql) & images into directory common to my java application. Then the data & images can be retrieved from my java Gui application and I can perform the following operations of image processing through OpenCV. Actually,I want to run the face detection on images retrieved and discard the false entries(no proper face). Also the application user/admin can search an image based on text search(By Id) or By another reference image using face recognition. I am well familiar with Java but the problem is that I need a guidance on how to organise it in a stepwise manner(links appreciated).OpenCv,Php and mySql are really messy.I know doing the openCV stuff within java is real overhead but i really want to do it.But If there is any suggestion to do it elseway please guide me.So any kind of help is a ray of hope for me. • Bradford Dissolvable Agent not completing scan, application unexpectedly stops without error or report

  I've been trying to connect to a network that uses the dissolvable agent to scan and OK your computer. The scan gets to around 70% ish, I think the last notification is that it's searching for AVG then closes, without report or notification. I've tried running it in compatibility modes, checking registry, running CCleaner, running as administrator, creating another user account and disconnecting all other HDD's appart from my system drive. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, and before I joined the network bradford ran fine and gave me the all okay.

  I just ran a clean install of windows 7 this morning, installed all the latest updates, and I'm now trying to install Office Ultimate 2007 that I purchased last year from the Office Ultimate Steal.   I installed Windows 7 with the QWERTY keyboard layout, but have recently started using DVORAK layout so I changed it from Control Panel - Regional and Language Settings and it set DVORAK to default keyboard layout. Recently I added a password to log into the administrator account, the problem is that this password field is set to the QWERTY keyboard layout. When I log into Windows the keyboard layout switches back to DVORAK. How can I set the password field on the log in screen to use the DVORAK layout

  I have read a few articles mentioning converters from one language to another. I'm a bit more than skeptical about the use of such kind of tools. Does anyone know or have experiences let's say about Visual Basic to Java or vs converters? Just one example to pick http://www.tvobjects.com/products/products.html, claims to be the "world leader" or so in that aspect, However if read this: http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/articles/active-grid.html There the author states: "The consensus of MySQL users is that automated conversion tools for MS Access do not work. For example, tools that translate existing Access applications to Java often result in 80% complete solutions where finishing the last 20% of the work takes longer than starting from scratch." Well we know we need 80% of the time to implement the first 80% functionality and another 80% of the time for the other 20 %.... So has anyone tried such tools and found them to be worthwhile?

I'm fully aware that some Perl-style regexes cannot be stated as an ordinary regex, so I would not expect the tool to do the impossible, of course!

  I need to connect to a VPS and I'm running Vista Home Basic. TightVNC and TeamViewer both require access to the VPS first, because they require that the server be set up with TightVNC or TeamViewer. Is there anything similar to Remote Desktop that will allow me to use the IP address and administrator password to the VPS to simply connect, rather than having to have the hosting company set up VNC or TeamViewer on the server first?   Hi there, I have a Java Web application using GlassFish 3, JSF2.0 (facelets) and JPA (EclipseLink) on MySQL (URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/administer). The problem I'm facing is that if I'm saving entities to the database with the update() method, String data loses integrity; '?' is shown instead of some characters. The server, pages and database is/are configured to use UTF-8. After I post form data, the next page shows the data correctly. Furthermore it "seems" in debug that the String property of the current entity stores the correct value too. Dunno if NetBeans debug can be trusted; might be that it decodes correctly, however it's incorrect. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance! Daniel
