• Is there a way to generate a UML class diagram from an existing MySQL database?

• How long does it take Google to update all links from R 301 ?

  I just changed the location of my blog, and have done the appropriate redirects. Does anyone have knowledge or experience for the delay in updating all the links across Google? Reason I ask, I wish to change the A record. So this will eliminate the .htaccess file, and thus null and void the redirect. How long must I wait prior to the undertaking? Thank you.

• Using jQuery to find and then reformat a date string

  Hello, I currently am displaying dates as follows "yyyy/mm/dd" in a wordpress blog (it needs to be input in this format because a plugin is using it to define a post expiration date). I want to use jQuery to locate all of these strings on a page (they're all in table cells) and reformat them to "mm.dd.yy" The site is: http://www.beattrainsoundsystem.com/category/gigs The dates also exist in the footer on every page which I would also like to change. • Indexing Service: getting empty columns on custom properties

  I'm following this example: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2005/12/getting-started-with-indexing-service.html However, the conversion to dataset shows empty columns for my custom properties. If I use path or filename for the columns I get data back. I have set the properties to be cached, have tried both levels, and have rescanned full. I've tried this example on my desktop (windows vista 32bit) and on a Windows 2008 R2 server with the same results.

  Hey there, i have tried to render some files with HAML in Rails 3. But HAMl doesn`t work. My testfiles have the extension .html.haml. In the GEMFile i have written gem 'haml' and executed the bundle install When i call my testapp i become an error like this: Template is missing Missing template posts/index with {:locale=>[:en, :en], :formats=>[:html], :handlers=>[:rjs, :rhtml, :rxml, :builder, :erb]} in view paths "/Users/piet/Sites/blog/app/views" Hope, i become some help here. • When is it safe to remote import entires from feature.xml?

  I've recently learned that the import section from feature.xml is legacy, and the actual dependency work is delegated to the p2 engine, which uses the information from the plugin manifest. I am not sure though if p2 is available for all recent versions of Eclipse, or in all Eclipse-based products, so I'm not sure if it is safe to remove the import section from feature.xml. Under what circumstances is it safe to remove the import section from feature.xml? Assume that we are taking into consideration Eclipse 3.4 or newer.

  I am developing an ASP.NET 3.5 web application in which I am allowing my users to upload either jpeg,gif,bmp or png images. If the uploaded image dimensions are greater then 103 x 32 the I want to resize the uploaded image to 103 x 32. I have read some blog posts and articles, and have also tried some of the code samples but nothing seems to work right. Has anyone succeed in doing this?

  hi how do i return after the first match of regular expression? (does the Matcher.find() method do that? ) say I have a string "abcdefgeee". I want to ask the regex engine stop finding immediately after it finds the first match of "e" for example. I am writing a method to return true/false if the pattern is found and i don't want to find the whole string for "e". (I am looking for a regex solution ) thanks
