  First of all, I have some time reading this page and I find very interesting, the content also has many questions and are very entertaining. My question is about handling my incoming mail server, no matter if you use PHP, Perl, or Python. I do not care, what if I want is the result which should be as close to: I send an email to [email protected], this post will add a case such as photos, then when the mail reaches the server, the server takes to process mail and copy the attached files, in this case the photos to a folder / home / public_html / photos and then, if possible notify you if it was successful or not. • Add code to html pages automatically

  I need to add some code to the of several html contained in a folder on my desktop. How can i do that? I am using a prototyping tool (Axure) on Mac and I want to add some html meta tags to the generated pages. These pages can be overwritten every time I generate the prototype. What I need is a sort of script that I can launch after re-generating the prototype, to reinsert the code.   I am trying to do the notepad tutorials and keep getting this error. I am following all the directions on the website. I have tried the "Fix Project Properties" via "Android Tools" but this does nothing to fix the problem. I have put the extracted folder for the tutorial in various locations - this did nothing. I read in SDK I can use service account to login without promting user, but I don't know how to share or give permissions files for custom users. In api reference I found this: "The user is not necessarily yet a Google user (e.g. if a file or folder is shared with an email address that does not yet have an associated Google account). Example: 1111459233037698895607". How a custom user in my app should get a token for own privilages.

  I use VS2010,C# to develop an ASP.NET web site, my customers want me to have their pages like this: mysite.com/customer (in fact they call mysite/customer/default.aspx) so I've manually created several folders for each customer, and inserted a default.aspx file in the folder so that users can view customer page by typing mysite.com/customer is there a better way for performing this scenario? I don't want to have mysite.com/customer1.aspx, I want to have mysite.com/customer1, is there anyway that I can remove folders (and their containing default.aspx files) and generate something automatic using my customers database? should I use URL rewriting? is there anyway that I can create page mysite.com/customer1.aspx, and users can view it by typing mysite.com/customer1? I think it is possible to rewrite URLs in web.config, but I don't want to do it manually in web.config as my pages would increase in a daily basis thanks

• What is the most elegant way to deal with sourced files that themselves source (relative) source fil

  I am editing a file like /path/to/file.txt with vim, hence the current directory is /path/to. Now, I have a directory /other/path/to/vim/files that contains sourceA.vim. Also, there is a sourceB.vim file in /other/path/to/vim/files/lib/sourceB.vim In sourceA.vim, I want to source sourceB.vim, so I put a so lib/sourceB.vim into it. Now, in my file.txt, I do a :so /other/path/to/vim/files/sourceA.vim which fails, because the sourcing system is obviously not prepared for relative path names along with sourcing from another directory. In order to fix this, I put a execute "so " . expand("<sfile>:p:h") . "/lib/sourceB.vim" into sourceA.vim which does what I want. However, I find the solution a bit clumsy and was wondering if there is a more elegant solution to it. I cannot put the sourceA.vim nor sourceB.vim into vim's plugin folder.

• How do you get the File:// protocol to work in IE8?

  I am running a website on my local machine ("http://localhost/asdf") and trying to get some file:// protocol links to work. In reality I'm trying to open a folder, not a specific file, but I can't get either to work. I've put localhost in my "trusted zone", I've tried every combo of "file" ,":", some number of "/" and then a whole bunch of different paths, but encoded and not encoded. Nothing I do causes anything to open when I click on the link. If I copy the link destination, and paste that in the browser address window, then it works as expected. Anyone know the secret?

  Hi, first post here.In Django, I want to have many files be associated with a particular model, so I'm doing a seperate model called files and have model 'A' 'have many' files. But I want my files to be saved in director named by model 'A'. So For example I want something like this: class Show(models.Model): name = models.CharField() showfolder = models.FilePathField() class Episode(models.Model): show = models.ForeignKey(Show) name = models.CharField() files = models.ManyToManyField(mp3) class Mp3(models.Model): file = FileField(upload_to=Episode.show.showfolder) So hopefully that last line expresses what I WANT it to do(get the folder name from Show object associated with the episode).   I have mistyped a path and instead of c:\foo.txt wrote c:foo.txt. I expected it to either fail or to resolve to c:\foo.txt, but instead it seems to be resolved to foo.txt in a current user's home folder. Powershell returns: PS C:\> [System.IO.Path]::GetFullPath("c:\foo.txt") c:\foo.txt PS C:\> [System.IO.Path]::GetFullPath("c:foo.txt") C:\Users\Administrator\foo.txt PS C:\> [System.IO.Path]::GetFullPath("g:foo.txt") G:\foo.txt Running explorer.exe from commandline and passing it any of the above results in C:\Users\Administrator\Documents to be opened. I haven't found any documentation of that and I'm utterly confused, please explain the behaviour.

  Hi, I am trying to figure out what exactly is Appdomain recycling? When a aspx page is requested for the first time from a DotNet application, i understand that an appdomain for that app is created, and required assemblies are loaded into that appdomain, and the request will be served. Now, if the web.config file or the contents of the bin folder, etc are modified, the appdomain will be "recycled". My question is, at the end of the recycling process, will the appdomain be loaded with assemblies and ready to serve the next request? or a page has to be requested to trigger the assemblies to load?.

• Transforming a TXT file in a list, getting wrong

  I have a txt plain file that has a list of numbers. One number per line, like: 978-972-722-649-8 978-972-722-646-7 978-972-722-627-6 978-972-722-625-2 978-972-722-594-1 etc. This list is on a file called file.txt, was created and saved on TextEdit using Western (ISO Latin 1) encoding. Now I am trying to use Applescript to read this file and transform it on a list. I have this script set myDirectory to path to desktop folder as string set myFile to myDirectory & "file.txt" try set open_file to ¬ open for access file myFile without write permission set myList to read open_file using delimiter return close access open_file on error try close access file open_file end try end try after running this script, myList contains just ONE item and this item is "97" (I suppose that is the first two numbers of the first entry). • Can't find .js file in my mainBundle?!

  This is driving me crazy as I cannot figure out what in the world is going on. I load up files form you main bundle all the time, xml files, html files, etc. But, now I am trying to get the contents of a javascript file but it can never find it. I am using: NSData *jsData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"global" ofType:@"js"]]; if (jsData) { NSLog(@"%@", jsData); } else { NSLog(@"Can't find file"); return; } Even checking the [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"global" ofType:@"js"] string returns null. My globaly.js file is in my Resources folder, the exact location where my other files are location that work totally fine using the above method. Why can't it find my js file?

  Hello all, I have this problem, it's the second time it happens to me, I'm using the NB IDE 6.9.1 and after a while I was working fine, but then It stopped deploying my webapp when debugging or running the application, I don't recall messing with the ant build scripts or any strange configurations, it successfully builds the dist folder and *.war file, but I cannot debug it or run it, all I get is ClassNotFoundException for my servlets. I am unsure of what extra information would help to solve this issue Its pretty annoying, I don't know how it got solved the last time, it just "went away" any help is truly appreciated.

• How to automatically check out a database file in a source controlled web application ?

  Hello, I am working on an ASP.NET web application, we are a small team (4 students) and we do not have access to a dedicated server to host the database instance. So for this web application we decided just to put the database file in the App_Data folder. The problem is that our project is source controled on TFS, so every time you open the solution and try to launch the web application, we get an expcetion saying that database is read-only. That is logical because the databse file is not automatically checked-out. Is there a workaround to avoid a manual check-out of the database file everytime we open the solution ? Thanks.

  hey there! I have a project running on dreamhost hosting and it's working fine, but since DH has been getting really slow I'm moving the project to my new dedicated server. The thing is that after I move all of my file over to the new dedicated (ubuntu 8.4) I get see warnings all over the place telling me that the headers had been already sent. The first thing I tried was moving the files via FTP: download to my machine, upload to server - Didn't worked Second try was tar.gz the folder on the first server and untar it on the new one, didn't worked either I tried chaing enconding to ANSI and they start working, however most of my files contain accents so ANSI is not an option for all my files i need UTF8 Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm sure it must be some sort of config

• Determine what account IIS 7 is using to access folders (and other resources)

  Often, out of sheer desperation I will end up enabling "Everyone" access on a folder that a web app is accessing (perhaps for file creation, reading, etc) because I can't figure which user account to enable access on. Obviously, this is a very bad thing to do. Is there a way to determine what account IIS is using at that exact moment to access folders (and perhaps other resources like SQL Server, etc)? Are there logs I can look at that will tell me? Or perhaps some other way? I usually use Windows Auth without impersonation. Not sure if that information is relevant.

  Hi; I'm trying to register a simple MSV1_0 subauthentication package for MS Windows Server 2003. I created a dll which implements required functions described in MSDN. I copied my dll to system32 folder. After that, I created a registry key Auth255 (I also tried Auth128) with a REG_SZ value ,which specifies my dll name, to this location; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0. I expect that it will create a test.txt file for debugging puposes when the dll is called, but it doesn't create the file. How can I make this work? • How to determine, upon launch, whether the app crashed the last time it quit?

  One of the crash reporter frameworks I've found does it like this: If there exist crash reports in the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter folder for the app, it determines that a crash occurred before. Then it allows the user to send the developer the crash log. And the finally, it deletes those logs. It is this deletion that is bothering me. It's not acceptable to me. Maybe the user wants to look at those logs later. It is simply rude to the user to just delete his crash logs. So I'm looking for a better way to determine the crash. It doesn't really work to store the last read crash logs in the user defaults or the user data, because that would mean that if the user deletes the data and defaults (which he has a right to do whenever he or she wishes), and then launches the app, it will be detected as crashed the last time it was quit. So this doesn't work. Any ideas?

  Newbie question, let me try and make this as clear as possible. I have a program that needs to silently execute a msi package (well multiple but that's not the problem) The MSI packages are contained in a folder located in the same directory as my program. I've given it a simple name of "InstallFiles" for the time being. I'm not keen on using the full path name eg. C:\my program\another directory\another directory etc because it'll be put on multiple PC's, old and new, in which case the drive letter can change. So far I have: install.StartInfo.FileName = "msiexec"; install.StartInfo.Arguments = "/i F:\\InstallFiles\\JRE.msi"; install.Start(); install.WaitForExit(); However, when its launched it only gives me the Windows Installer switch information and then terminates, how do I get it to run and how would I go about changing the file path?

  I'm going to have a ton of subclasses, so want to organize them under a subfolder called stream. I added the following line to the environment.rb so that all classes in the subfolder would be loaded: Rails::Initializer.run do |config| ... config.load_paths += Dir["#{RAILS_ROOT}/app/models/*"].find_all { |f| File.stat(f).directory? } ... end I thought this would solve the issue in which by convention the model class is namespaced into an according module. However, when I try to call one of the classes called stream in the stream folder, I get the following error: NoMethodError: undefined method `new' for Stream:Module from (irb):28 from /usr/local/bin/irb:12:in `<main>' Here's the model for the parent and one child: class Stream end class EventStream < Stream end Any idea what the issue is?
