I want to create an application that open those excel sheets, allow user to modify the content and save the excel sheet as new file. For that purpose, I think I can open excel sheets in UIWebView that allows editing as well. But the trouble is, can I save edited Excel sheet in UIWebView back on to iPad? If Possible, how?

I've learned that XML is more of a data carrier rather than a data displayer like HTML is. I've read that I can use XML to HTML converters.   • Should I use Java for a custom Swing component designed for a clojure app?

    I want a simple timeline component (like in video editing software) for a clojure/seesaw app and I am wondering if it is a good approach to implement this directly with clojure and seesaw or if I should write it in java and make my clojure wrapper around it. Or more generally: is a functional programming language optimal for writing UI widgets? I cannot imagine doing that without a lot of state involved. And wasn't OO invented for UI-development in the first place?

    I'm using the php debugger geben and nxhtml-mode -- my standard mode for editing php files. Unfortunately, these two modes don't mix well. Is it possible to configure emacs such a way that it enables nxhtml only conditionaly, when I open php files manually, but enables php-mode instead when the buffer is opened by geben?

  • IOC are at the class level, but what about database conflicts?

    With IOC I understand you can substitue implementations out by merely editing a configuration file etc. BUT, what happens when the classes are married to particular database tables and sprocs, you can't just swap out an implementation since the classes/entities are tied to particular tables and stored procedures.     I'm trying to implement a simple text animation in a custom UITableViewCell without having to go into editing mode which automatically brings up the delete button on the right. What I'm trying to accomplish is that when the label is updated by a button within the UITableviewcell, the text in the label is updated but with some smooth animation like sliding to the right since the updated text is prepended to the string.     Is there a library that can be used for implementing undo/redo functionality for DOM element manipulations in JavaScript? I'm writing an app that moves around DOM elements, enables editing and deletion of those elements. There are event-handlers and other objects associated with each element operated upon. Not sure whether I need to roll my own implementation of the Command pattern for this. Surely, there must be something available? If not, suggestions and pointers would be a great help.

  • How to get indexPath.row at textFieldDidEndEditing

    Hey all, i use some code for inline cell editing from Apples TaggedLocations Example and im now stuck. At the demo Code they save the changes at textFieldDidEndEditing, this works because they asume to edit only the first element in a table view. I have to edit every row at the table view, so my problem is how to get indexPath.row to update the correct object stored in a mutableArray. Or did i miss something? Thanks for your help!
