    Firstly I used this call jQuery('#grid').jqGrid('editRow',id,true,pickdates);, it worked fine with UI Datepicker integration, but editRow is implemented for inline editing, but I prefer modal dialog, so I switched to editGridRow, now I can't find the way to call my custom function (pickdates) in onClick-event. My current call is jQuery('#grid').jqGrid('editGridRow',id,{closeOnEscape:true,width:400,savekey:[true,13]}); Thanks Anatoliy

    I have built a web web service with Netbeans 6.8 using the "Web Service from WSDL" wizard. It has generated the binding classes and a skeleton for the class implementing the web service. I've set some initialization parameters in web.xml, under the servlet corresponding to the web service. Now I'd like to pass those parameters to the class implementing the web service. How can this be achieved (preferably without editing any of the code auto-generated by Netbeans)?

  • Modifying wordpress plugin markup

    Is there a 'good working practise' way to modify the markup that a wordpress plugin produces without editing the plugin's core files. The problem i foresee is that when you update the plugin, the markup that you would have modified overwritten. I know in drupal there are template overrides, but i don't know enough about wordpress to do a similar practise. Any help?

    I'm running into the Windows Vista/7 Program Compatibility Assistant problem described here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1069135/this-program-might-not-have-installed-correctly-message-in-windows-7-rc The solution (backed-up by similar questions elsewhere, and MSDN), is apparently to add a 'compatibility' section to setup.exe's manifest. InstallShield 10 SP1 does this automatically, but unfortunately I only have InstallShield 2009. How would I go about editing the manifest? Is there a way to do this programmatically, so I can integrate it into my build?

    While editing HTML/ASPX/ASCX etc; whenever I select an html tag, visual studio highlights the entire tag in black and bold; the black I'm not so fussed about but the bold changes the length of the line and really messes up the formatting. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, Chris

    I just want to clear this up once and for all, is it ok to subclass a UIWebView? Will I ever have to be nervous about apple rejecting the app because of a UIWebView subclass? The documentation states: Subclassing Notes The UIWebView class should not be subclassed. What I'd like to be able to do is to accumulate a commit message as I'm examining my changes and then when I call "git commit", it is already filled out for me and allows me to make changes before I commit. Now, its easy to do with git gui by simply examining the changes and editing the commit message text box accordingly, but I'm a command line guy and was wondering if this is possible at the command line.

    Is there a way to specify how an image is scaled up in an Image element with LayoutTransform set to a ScaleTransform with integer values for ScaleX and ScaleY? I want to display the scaled image crisply (ie using 'nearest neighbour' scaling), with no blurring. (Imagine how you would want a bitmap editing program to behave when zooming in). I noticed the protected property VisualBitmapScalingMode on Image, so created a subclass of Image that sets this property to BitmapScalingMode.NearestNeighbor. However, this had no effect.
