  • FSM spellchecker

    - by Durell
    I would love to have a debugged copy of the finite state machine code below. I tried debugging but could not, all the machine has to do is to spell check the word "and",an equivalent program using case is welcomed. #include<cstdlib> #include<stdio.h> #include<string.h> #include<iostream> #include<string> using namespace std; char in_str; int n; void spell_check() { char data[256]; int i; FILE *in_file; in_file=fopen("C:\\Users\\mytorinna\\Desktop\\a.txt","r+"); while (!feof(in_file)) { for(i=0;i<256;i++) { fscanf(in_file,"%c",in_str); data[i]=in_str; } //n = strlen(in_str); //start(data); cout<<data; } } void start(char data) { // char next_char; //int i = 0; // for(i=0;i<256;i++) // if (n == 0) { if(data[i]="a") { state_A(); exit; } else { cout<<"I am comming"; } // cout<<"This is an empty string"; // exit();//do something here to terminate the program } } void state_A(int i) { if(in_str[i] == 'n') { i++; if(i<n) state_AN(i); else error(); } else error(); } void state_AN(int i) { if(in_str[i] == 'd') { if(i == n-1) cout<<" Your keyword spelling is correct"; else cout<<"Wrong keyword spelling"; } } int main() { spell_check(); system("pause"); return 0; }

  • read a file with both text and binary information in .Net

    - by Yin Zhu
I need to read binary PGM image files. Its format: P5 # comments nrows ncolumns max-value binary values start at this line. (totally nrows*ncolumns bytes/unsigned char) I know how to do it in C or C++ using FILE handler by reading several lines first and read the binary block. But don't know how to do it in .Net.

  • migrating an embedded jetty server from v6 to v7

    - by Ceilingfish
Hi chaps, I have an embedded servlet which I use in unit tests, looks like this: public class UnitTestWebservices extends AbstractHandler { private Server server; private Map<Route,String> data = new HashMap<Route,String>(); public UnitTestWebservices(int port) throws Exception { server = new Server(port); server.setHandler(this); server.start(); } public void handle(String url, HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response, int arg3) throws IOException, ServletException { final Route route = Route.valueOf(request.getMethod(), url); final String content = data.get(route); if(content != null) { final ServletOutputStream stream = response.getOutputStream(); stream.print(content); stream.flush(); stream.close(); } else { response.sendError(HttpServletResponse.SC_NOT_FOUND); } } .... } That's written using version 6.1.24 of Jetty. I tried switching over to use Jetty 7.1.1.v20100517, and updated that code to this: public class UnitTestWebservices extends AbstractHandler { private Server server; private Map<Route,String> data = new HashMap<Route,String>(); public UnitTestWebservices(int port) throws Exception { server = new Server(port); server.setHandler(this); server.start(); } public void handle(String url, Request request, HttpServletRequest servletRequest, HttpServletResponse response) throws IOException, ServletException { final Route route = Route.valueOf(request.getMethod(), url); final String content = data.get(route); request.setHandled(true); response.setContentType("application/json"); if(content != null) { response.setStatus(HttpServletResponse.SC_OK); final Writer stream = response.getWriter(); stream.append(content); } else { response.sendError(HttpServletResponse.SC_NOT_FOUND); } } } But whenever I tried to access make a request to the server it would hang indefinitely. Has anyone experienced anything similar?. It also printed this into the log: log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.eclipse.jetty.util.log). log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. org.eclipse.jetty.server.Server@670655dd STOPPED +-UnitTestWebservices@50ef5502 started

    - by Mohit Deshpande
I was trying to execute a command through C#, but when I run the following code, a blank cmd window just opens up. The code: string command = string.Format(@"adb install C:\Users\Mohit\Programming\Android_Workspace\{0}\bin\{0}.apk", appName); ProcessStartInfo cmdsi = new ProcessStartInfo("cmd.exe"); cmdsi.Arguments = command; Process cmd = Process.Start(cmdsi); What could be wrong? I am sure the syntax is right.

  • QtCreator on linux: 32-bits vs. 64-bits.

    - by Claire Huang
My laptop is 64-bits, so when I start to use Qt, I chose 64-bit QtCreator. Now I'm facing a problem, I wish that the executable files I generated are runnnable on 32-bit linux system. Can I set QtCreator to generate 32-bit executable files? So that I can decide I want to generate 32-bit ones or 64-bit ones. I don't want to install another 32-bit QtCreator <.

  • can some hacker steal the cookie from a user and login with that name on the web site ?

    - by Aristos
Reading this question different users get the same cookie value in aspxanonymous and search for a solution, I start thinking, if it is possible for some one to really steal the cookie with some way, and then place it on his browser and login lets say as administrator. Do you know how form authentication can ensure that even if the cookie is stoled, the hacker not actual login using it ? Or do you know any other automatic defense mechanism ? Thank you in advanced.

  • Does resharper make you lazy?

    - by ForeverDebugging
I've been looking at using resharper and from the reviews I've seen, people who start using it never go back. I'm wondering if using resharper helps you pick up errors when looking at code without resharper, or does it decrease this ability becaues you get use to relying on resharper to identify problems?

  • Creating Bitmaps from ARGB strings (in actionscript-3)???

    - by ashenwraith
Hi, in actionscript 3, what's the fastest way to dump your data (not from a file) into a bitmap for display? I have it working with setPixels and colored rects but that's way too slow/inefficient. Is there a way to load in the raw bytes or hijack the loader class to put in custom loader data? What would be the best/fastest--should I start writing a byte encoder?

  • Creating a java library

    - by Albinoswordfish
This may be a silly question, but right now I have a rather large class that I want to use as a library. Where somebody can simply add this jar file to their classpath. And then simply do an import statement at the top, then he or she can start using this class. Is there anything special I need to do or can I simply just use the jar file built?

  • Adobe Color Profiles/Color Spaces, how is it possible that this works?

    - by leeand00
I'm learning about Color Profiles/Color Spaces/Monitor Color Management Profiles and I was just wondering how any of that justified considering the fact that I could throw the entire color anything off by adjusting the brightness and contrast of my monitor? Additionally there are things like lighting in the place where your monitor resides. I don't understand what makes it possible to know that the colors that you are looking at on your monitor are accurate. I really don't have any idea where to start (considering I obviously can't even get the terminology right in the first place...:-p)

  • Firefox extension object instantiating

    - by Michael
I want my javascript object to be initialized just once, so each new browser window will not create new data items, new functions, etc... usually we initialize the code at the end of main javascript using load window.addEventListener("load", main.onLoad, false); so once the second browser window opened, the initialization code will start from scratch. However, I would like to re-use the existing object on consequent browsers. Any mechanism that I can use?
