Is there any declarative way to exclude that folder from the compile temporarily while I test the refactoring thus far?   • Can an iPhone/iPod Touch application open a port for remote communication without jailbreaking?

    I'm researching remote control testing for an app that'll be installed on the new iPod Touch and can't tell for certain from everything that I've read whether or not an installed app can or can't open any ports for remote test instructions (that's a mouthful : ) We created something like this for the Android using adb port forwarding and telnet, and it worked really well. Is there any chance something similar could be done on an iPhone or iPod without jailbreaking??

    Hi; I'm trying to create a multi-sheet excel document, and thus far I'd been doing it in PHP - but using PHPExcel was eating up 70MB of RAM for about 60,000 spreadsheet cells total. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Spreadsheet::WriteExcel and if it has problems with creating very large documents. I'd just give it a shot but I'm very inexperienced with Perl and it could take me quite a bit of time to get this up and rolling even if for a test, and I thought someone here might have insight for me.

  • CHECK/NOCHECK for Sql Compact Edition

    I am attempting to wipe and repopulate test data on SQL CE. I am getting an error due to FK constraints existing. Typically in Sql2005 I would ALTER TABLE [tablename] CHECK/NOCHECK CONSTRAINT ALL to enable/disable all constraints. From what I could find in my searching, it seems that this might not be supported in CE. Is that true? If so, is there an alternative?

    Hi, whenever I add a new domain into my new Plesk control panel on my dedicated server it creates a whole bunch of test files in the cgi-bin, httpdocs and httpsdocs.   • Android browse SQLite database on phone

    How can I browse the SQLite database that I am creating in my app on my Android myTouch phone? When I log in through adb shell, sqlite3 gives me a permission denied. Is there another way to check if my database and tables are actually being created, and if rows are being inserted? I am not able to use the emulator, since it doesn't play videos etc. very well that is the main feature of my app, so I can only test on phone. Thanks Chris

  • Is there a working example of using WebDAV for querying Exchange server for calendar items?

    I have tried to hack together a small test project, but it fails with "400 Bad Request" so I'm pretty sure I have done something very basic wrong, but the examples I've found are all in the form of questions, only showing minor pieces of the puzzle, such as a request XML for public folders or whatnot. Is there a complete example somewhere where I can just put in my username and servername and it would list the calendar items in my calendar? This is for C# 3.0/4.0.

    Hi, again I have Java AST which is created from public class Test { String o = new String("hh"); public void wrong1() { synchronized(o) { // huhu } } } I try to create a XPath query which finds the synchronized block in which the defined String variable o is used. As the definition is above it is an ancestor of the SynchronizedStatement, but I dont get it working //SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image=ancestor::ClassOrInterfaceBody[ClassOrInterfaceBodyDeclaration/FieldVariableDeclaratorId/@Image]]] I know that /SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image= is correct, my problem is how to address the ancestor ClassOrInterfaceBody part.   • C#: Process.HasExited returns false even though the process has terminated

    Possibly the inverse of this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2519673/ I called Kill() on a process and it seems to have exited. But when I test HasExited, I get false: myProcess.Kill(); while ( !myProcess.HasExited ) { Thread.Sleep(1000); } And this continues indefinitely. Granted, I have to change this code to stop waiting eventually, but I'm curious as to why HasExited still returns false when the process seems to have dropped off the map so to speak.
