  • Maven webapp with maven-eclipse-plugin doesn't generates <dependent-module>

    I use the eclipse:eclipse goal to generate an Eclipse Project environment. The deployment works fine. The goal creates the var classpath entries for all needed dependencies. With m2eclipse there was the Maven Container which defines an export folder which was WEB-INF/lib for me. But i don't want to rely on m2eclipse so i don't use it anymore. the class path entries which are generated by eclipse:eclipse goal don't have such a export folder. While booting the servlet container with WTP it publishes all resources and classes except the libraries to the context. Whats missing to publish the needed libs, or isn't that possible without m2eclipse integration?     According to the Spring documentation, By default, the dm Server trace file is called $SERVER_HOME/serviceability/logs/dm-server/log_i.log ... The index i varies from 1 to 4, on a rolling basis, as each log file exceeds 10Mb. I'm aware that the default trace file name can be changed in server.config. Is it possible to change the number of log files that are kept before rolling over and/or the maximum log file size? How?

  • Is it possible to deploy a SOAP server with Axis without using WSDD?

    In the project I am working I have deployed a SOAP server using Deployment Descriptors (WSDD) files. To do that a webserver (e.g tomcat, jetty) is started and then the following command is executed: java -cp %AXISCLASSPATH% org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient deploy.wsdd What I need is to skip the above command to avoid a call to the Axis AdminClient. Is it possible to deploy my webservice as war file? Note: A solution with JWS can't be used due to its limitations.

  • Why can't I get my Azure, WCF, REST, SSL project working? What am I doing wrong?

    I'm trying to get SSL, WCF and REST under Azure, but the page won't even load. Here are the steps I followed: 1) I mapped the www.mydomain.com CNAME to my azuresite.cloudapp.net 2) I procured an SSL certificate for www.mydomain.com and properly installed it at my azuresite.cloudapp.net hosted service project 3) I deployed my WCF REST service to Azure and started it. Below is my web.config configuration. The http (non-https) binding version worked correctly. My service URL, http: //www.mydomain .com/service.svc/sessions worked just fine. When I deployed the project with the web.config below, enabling SSL, https: //www.mydomain .com/service.svc/sessions does not even pull up at all.     I would like to set up table-per-classhierarchy inheritance in nhibernate thru code. Everything else is set in XML mapping files except the subclasses. If i up the subclasses in xml all is well, but not from code.   • prevent generating new jsessionid?

    greetings all my application uses spring framework,spring security 3.0.2 we use apache tomcat as app server the problem is that with each new request to the application a new jsessionid is generated and a new session is created so the user is logged out and that's weird,why generating new jsessionid,how to stop that? i reviewed the code,nothing is creating a new session? is it a framework problem or app server problem or what? your help is very appreciated. thank you.

Can I use the default configuration directory (where 'config.ini' is usually stored) for this purpose? If so, how can I get a File instance to this location programmatically? I also note that this directory does not exist in my Eclipse IDE. Thanks.

    How can I remove X-Powered-By header in PHP? I am on an Apache Server and I use php 5.21. I can't use the header_remove function in php as it's not supported by 5.21. I used Header unset X-Powered-By, it worked on my local machine, but not on my production server. If php doesn't support header_remove() for ver < 5.3, is there an alternative?

  • CDI SessionScoped Bean instance remains unchanged when login with different user

    I've been looking for the workaround of this problem for rather plenty of time and no result, so I ask question here. Simply speaking, I'm using a CDI SessionScoped Bean User in my project to manage user information and display them on jsf pages. Also container-managed j_security_check is used to resolve authentication issue. Everything is fine if first logout with session.invalidate() and then login in the same browser tab with a different user. But when I tried to directly login (through login.jsf) with a new user without logout beforehand, I found the user information remaining unchanged. I debugged and found the User bean, as well as the HttpSession instance, always remaining the same if login with different users in the same browser, as long as session.invalidate() not invoked. Since I'm adopting j_security_check I fancy intercepting it and invalidating old session is not so easy. So is it possible to accomplish the goal without altering the CDI+JSF+j_security_check design that one can relogin with different account in the same or different tab within the same browser? Really look forward for your response. More info: Glassfish v3.1 is my appserver.

However, I believe the annotation is part of the service contract and should be published with the interface in a separate API package. And obviously, I would not like to put the annotation on both service definition and implementation (DRY). I know there are cases in Spring AOP where aspects are triggered by annotations one interface methods (e.g. Transactional). Is there a special syntax here or is it just plain impossible out of the box. PS: I have not posted my spring config, as it seems to be working just fine. And no, those are neither my original class nor method names.   • Glassfish V3 won't start

    Hi everybody, I installed NetBeans 6.8 and tried to run the GlasshFish V3 server. I'm working under Windows Vista 32 Bits. First, it won't run.     I have my ASP.NET web.config set with impersonation <identity impersonate="true" userName="domainName\userName" password="userPassword" /> I'm running some a method like IO.Directory.GetFiles(somePath) And monitoring the file system access with Process Monitor I keep getting all the access requests from the aspnet_wp.exe process to the folder, as the ASPNET user. Why am I not seeing the access as the impersonated user?

  • Maven mercurial extension constantly fails
