  I've been searching for this for quite a while with no luck so far. Is there an equivalent to Java's ClassFileTransformer in .NET? Basically, I want to create a class CustomClassFileTransformer (which in Java would implement the interface ClassFileTransformer) that gets called whenever a class is loaded, and is allowed to tweak it and replace it with the tweaked version. I know there are frameworks that do similar things, but I was looking for something more straightforward, like implementing my own ClassFileTransformer. Is it possible?

But on zooming i continue see the triangle's under the skin, it's not smooth. I use OpenGL built-in minMapping.   Just to grok this: If I had a transient property, lets say averagePrice, and I mark that as "transient" in the data modeler: This will not be persistet, and no column will be created in SQLite for that? And: If I make my own NSManagedObject subclass with an averagePrice property, does it make any sense to model that property in the xcdatamodel file? Would it make a difference if I would simply create a property in my subclass and not model that in the entity? (I think: yes, it doesn't matter at all ... but not sure)

  As some of you may know in python2.7/3.2 we'll get OrderedDict with PEP372 however one of the reason the PEP existed was because everyone did their own implementation and they were all sightly incompatible. So which one of the 8 current implementations link text is backwards compatible with the 2.7 odict from python 2.7 in a way we can start using that now and depend on 2.7 in a couple of months?

If I wanted to just make the simple hash function that maps each letter in the string to a numerical value (i.e. a=1, b=2, c=3, ...), is there a way I can perform this hash on a string without having to first convert it to a c-string to look at each individual char? Is there a more efficient way of hashing strings?

• What .NET serializers have fixed size output for a given class?

  XML based serializers have variable size output for a given class. I can't use them to append data to my Memcached list, since I won't be able to retrieve that information later. But if I knew my serializer produced a fixed size output (N bytes), I could retrieve my data by splitting my list in N bytes chunks and then deserializing those chunks individually. I have created my own serializer for my class, but what other serializers I could use?
