• ldd output showing shared object file whose function is not called

  I ran ldd command on an executable created by Open MPI. It shows a reference to libpthread.so Using LD_PRELOAD variable I created my own implementation of pthread_create, but from the it output it seems that MPI implementation is not calling pthread_create as I had expected. Why does ldd show pthread so file in output if it is not being used? does Open MPI not use a separate MPI thread for every node to implement the functionality?

  I have a large table (300 million lines) that I would like to dump to a csv - I need to do some processing that cannot be done with SQL. Right now I am using Squirrel as a client, and it does not apparently deal very well with large datasets - at least as far as I can tell from my own (limited) experience.   I'm running programs from Eclipse (on Windows) that eat a lot of CPU time. To avoid bogging down my whole machine, I set the priority to Low with the Task Manager. However, this is a cumbersome manual process. Is there a way Eclipse can set this priority automatically? EDIT: I realized that each particular launcher (Java, Python etc) has its own configuration method, so I will restrict this question to the Java domain, which is what I need most.

  I have a s:List where I've defined my own itemRenderer, and would like to insert a horizontal line separating items, similar to the way the mx:LinkBar works. I don't want to have a line at the top or bottom of the list, so I can't just include an upper or lower border in the itemRenderer. I was hoping the itemRenderer could be made aware of its index in the list, but I don't see how. Is there a way to do this?

  I pass text in a gridview cell with a pipe delimiter, for example "4|31.99|3", What I'd like to be able to do is format this text to show as ------------- | 4 | |£31.99 / 3%| ------------- As you can see, I need the 4 to be Bold and be on a line of it's own, the 31.99 to be a currency and the 3 to be a percentage. My work has their own dev account. I created an app ID and privisioning profile on my personal account and downloaded it on my work computer but its not letting me compile and run on my iPhone.
