  • Weird graphics behaviour while playing games

    When I play any high-end game like NFS Most Wanted or FIFA 12, I get these weird things on my graphics. While playing NFS, my car has various transparent diamonds all over its body, and while playing FIFA I get these weird black lines all over the field. My PC specs are :- AMD Athlon II X2 ASUS M4A785D-M PRO 500GB Seagate HDD 2GB DDR2 Transcend RAM 1033Mhz ATI Radeon HD4350 512MB graphics card Tell me if I need to provide anything else.   • Stopping windows changing colour scheme

    Windows keeps saying my computer is low on memory and changing the aero scheme to basic its really annoying I have 16gb of ram and 2 3gb 6970 gpu's i have no issues at all with anything expect from this my motherboard has a intel hd onboard gpu i think its something to do with this but all my settings are correct. Is there anyway to tell it not to change it without asking me or to tell it how much memory is too low its driving me mad.

    Here is my Windows 7 Experience Index using the stock graphics driver: And after installing the newest driver Forceware 197.45, it becomes: The only change is that the "Gaming graphics" subscore drops from 6.4 to 5.2. Is the stock graphic driver more optimized for Windows 7? Or is Forceware 197.45 buggy? Should I revert back to the stock driver?     I have a Mac Mini with Core Solo 1.5GHz, 512mb RAM, 60gb HDD, etc... I know, it's very old but since it's lying around here, I wanted to bump it up for general usage and some experimental iPhone development. Also, Snow Leopard can't be installed as it doesn't have enough RAM. I browsed around but I'm not sure if this Mac Mini's motherboard accepts a Core2Duo (at least a 2.0GHz). If anyone could inform me which generation of Core2Duo it still accepts, I'd be grateful.

    Hi guys, some of you might have read my previous question "Weird laptop display", I've got another question regarding the same issue. I should've mentioned I went for higher resolution display. Instead of XGA display (1024x768 px) I went for SXGA+ (1400x1050 px). So the question is: Is there a difference between connecting XGA and SXGA+ display to laptop motherboard (different ribbon cable, invereter, etc.) ? Thanks a lot

  • Computer no display from connection problem.

    My computer is booting but has no display. The optical drive has power, but the USB doesn't, so I figured that I had a broken motherboard. However I tried to boot my computer again laying flat, and it worked fine for two seconds, and then froze like it did the first time. It had no display after that. I have come to the conclusion that it is a connection problem (someone had a similar problem on one of the online forums).

    I have experienced some problems with my headphones and it turned out the front 3.5mm audio jack is defective..and it doesn't make a good contact. I can't replace the jack because it's built-in. I am wondering if there are such things as "modular" Front panels to be inserted into the available external 3.5" bay and, of course, to support (natively, internal connector) Realtek HD Audio. (my case is Asus TA-K5, but I guess it doesn't make any difference)

    Hi everyone, at the moment i have a dual monitor setup on my main PCIe gfx card. I know that on windows it is almost impossible to have a second card (eg no thrills PCI card) running without having an SLI motherboard because of a driver issue. Well this was my conclusion after many weeks of research.     I just purchased a new ultrabook (Asus UX32VD). Awesome laptop, but I am having trouble using it with its native resolution being 1920 x 1080. Text is so small and hard to read. I have increased the text size in the display options but it don't really improve it for all scenarios, especially in webpages. I am wondering if there is a possible solution to this? Simply lowering the resolution makes everything look pixelated.

    Is it possible that a modern notebook (say built in the last 5 years) contains a (onboard) sound card that it is not possible to record from? I've always assumed that this is a very basic capability, but since I can't get it to work, I would like to check that before I put any more effort into it. In case it matters, my notebook is an ASUS UL50VT, I'm trying with Sound Recorder and Audacity under Ubuntu, but I am, at this point, not asking for "Try that"-support or software recommendations.
