    I am looking for a syntax highlighting component that I can include in a Mac OS X XCode project to allow editing of Ruby, C++, Lua, etc. I need a component that is open source or has the source included. My Google searches didn't turn up much in the way of Mac OS X frameworks or components at all, let alone the type I am looking for. Thanks for any pointers!

  • Where to find changes from iphone OS 3.0 to 3.1.3

    I've developed an app using the 3.1.3 SDK and I want to set the deployment target to OS 3.0. The app uses iPod functionality which I can't test on the Simulator so my question is: Is there somewhere I can find a list of the changes from 3.0 to 3.1.3 so I can check if anything might be broken on an OS 3.0 device? I've looked on Apple's website obviously but can't find anything. How do people normally test on old software releases?

    Hi all, I am using iPhone OS 3.0 SDK. My requirement is that I want to get the image from the photo albums library and display it on an image view. I am using the "UIImagePickerController" for that. But the problem is the "- (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingImage:(UIImage *)imageeditingInfo:(NSDictionary *)editingInfo" delegate method is deprecated in iPhone OS 3.0 , so is there any alternative for getting the Image from the UIImagePickerController.     I have a custom timer that extends android.os.CountDownTimer. I have a test in the test project (standard Android/Eclipse project config) that tests the custom Timer. When I try to run this test, I get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: android/os/CountDownTimer at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:698) You get the idea. Can I not run code that references android code code in junit test?

    I installed the latest GNU make to my windows machine. The installer decided to setup the language as the OS language, which I did not get prompted for. I want it to be english. My OS is in swedish. I remember I had similar problem with another GNU program (can't recall which), which was solved by adding the env var "lang" with value "c". How can I switch the language of GNU make to english?

    I am building an application in java swing and I am using the following code to give the UI a native OS look try { UIManager.setLookAndFeel( UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName()); } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } On a OS X, the look is fine, but on windows (XP and 7) the buttons look like this. I have used this exact same code on other projects and it works fine. But in this particular project I get a completely different look. Thanks in advance!

    I am using Mac OS X 10.6 and installed MAMP and Tomcat. My Tomcat is installed in /Users/(userID)/Tomcat I can start Tomcat server in Terminal without a problem But it cannot be started automatically when Mac OS X is boot up. I put a file org.apache.tomcat.plist in /Library/LaunchDaemons Disabled Label org.apache.tomcat ProgramArguments /Users/henryfok/Tomcat/bin/startup.sh RunAtLoad Any hint ?

    Hi All, I have an application written in asp.net that I am accessing from a machine with Japanese OS, I use FileUpload component on a page and file path comes as C:\Directory\AnotherDirectory\FileName where it should have been C:¥Directory¥AnotherDirectory¥FileName because ¥ is separator for Japanese OS. Any Idea how this can be fixed or any solution that you would recommend.

  • iPhone App made using XCode 3.2.3 does not run on 3.1.3 OS

    I can't figure this out and I thought that someone might run through the same thing. I have XCode 3.2.3 (Pre Release with OS 4 beta) and I started to create my application, after the final touches and everything worked ok, I changed the Simulator - 4.0 to Simulator - 3.1.3 (latest iPhone OS) and I could never start my app again :-( Does anyone know what I should do? I created a simple Screencast of the problem so everyone can see what I'm writing about. Thank you for all the help.
