  • Integrating lesser known e-payment gateways full of surprises?

    I've integrated about half a dozen e-payment gateways, from popular ones (like paypal) to not-so popular ones. It seems every time I try to integrate a non-popular epayment gateway, I exceed my original time-estimation. I think I'm a decent programmer, but my time estimations probably needs work. Do other programmers run into many "surprises" when integrating e-payment gateways they've never heard of? Any advice will help. thanks

  • Rails - Accessing model class methods from within ActiveRecord model

    I have a simple standalone model that doesn't inherit from ActiveRecord or anything else, called SmsSender. As the name suggests, it delivers text messages to an SMS gateway. I also have an ActiveRecord model called SmsMessage which has an instance method called deliver: def deliver SmsSender.deliver_message(self) self.update_attributes :status => "Sent" end The above is returning uninitialized constant SmsSender. I'm sure this is dead simple, but how can I access the SmsSender class from within my model?

  • Browse asp.net development server from usb attached itouch

    I can browse using the desktop browsers via ..localhost:54647/... and from windows mobile emulators via my gateway ..//192.168.0.199:54647/..., but neither method works from either my Android emulator or from a usb attached itouch. I know I may have to run IIS locally but it's more convenient to run the development server from Visual Studio 2008. I'm running Vista with latest service packs. I'm developing a mobile app using ASP.Net MVC. Thanks!

For security purposes this webservice accepts requests only from IP addresses that were previously informed to them. Since I'm developing locally, my IP changes almost every day. Is there a way for me to change the IP address of a HttpWebRequest so that I can test the Webservice calls locally? This webservice is accessed through a https address and the methods must be sent via POST.

    I only get this error on one machine and its only on one directory when trying to check out some source code: Server sent unexpected return value (502 Bad Gateway) in response to OPTIONS other folks can download it fine. any ideas whats going on. I just uploaded to version 1.6.7 to see if it was a versioning issue but still see the error above.

    Here's the scenario: Many users access an application (running on tomcat), the user's data is segmented into multiple databases, say each db containing 1000 user's data. Now is it somehow possible to have 100s of tomcat servers running on 'inexpensive' PC class machines with each connecting to a single db, with user's session getting passed to appropriate tomcat and becoming 'Sticky' there. Can have some sort of 'gateway' deciding which user goes where and doing the load-balancing appropriately. Would make a great scalability solution :)

    Hi all, I just set up Mercurial on our main webserver, hosting repositories via hgwebdir.cgi. The problem I'm having now is when I run hg push from my local machine to the server's repository, it takes an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to push a very small directory, with only a single changeset. Is it possible that I've set something up wrong? I keep getting HTTP Error 502: Bad Gateway. Thanks!

  • OpenVPN: Connection established but can’t connect to server

    I am trying to set up OpenVPN to allow me to connect a number of laptops to my network in a way that allows the laptops to connect to specific computers via HTTP (to e.g. a server management page) and windows shares (to access files) In the test environment my laptops live in a network with a 192.168.1.X address range. The host-network has a 10.66.77.X address range The server hosting the OpenVPN server has address 10.77.10.20. I need to access some application server web pages on this machine, accessible on various ports The server with the windows shares as well as some other web based pages I need to access is on address 10.66.77.20 The config files for server and laptop are attached below. The laptop establishes the VPN connection without problems, but I cannot access any of the machines, even a simple ping fails. Maybe a routing problem?     I have a small network set up like this: I have a Pfsense for connecting my servers to the WAN, they are using NAT from the LAN - WAN. I have an OpenVPN server using TAP to allow remote workers to be put on the same LAN network as the servers. They connect through the WAN IP to the OVPN interface.     I'm trying to get NIC bonding to work with balance-rr so that three NIC ports are combined, so that instead of getting 1 Gbps we get 3 Gbps. We are doing this on two servers connected to the same switch. However, we're only getting the speed of one physical link. We are using 1 Dell PowerConnect 5324, SW version 2.0.1.3, Boot version 1.0.2.02, HW version 00.00.02. Both servers are CentOS 5.9 (Final) running OnApp Hypervisor (CloudBoot) Server 1 is using ports g5-g7 in port-channel 1. Server 2 is using ports g9-g11 in port-channel 2.   • CentOS 6.2 Bridge Setup for KVM

    I'm trying to set up bridged networking with KVM on CentOS 6.2 to no avail. There are plenty of docs and tutorials about it, but they all seem to conflict or don't provide info specific enough to my situation. I just don't get it. I access the host via public IP "xxx.xxx.128.58". All other available IPs (/29) should be bridged and made available to the only KVM guest (running a public facing LAMP stack) that will be setup on this machine. The amazingly unhelpful NOC people assigned the extra IPs to eth1. Is this correct? Should br0 bridge to eth0 or eth1? How do I set this up?
