• T-SQL query with date range

  Hi, I have a fairly weird 'bug' with a simple query, and I vaguely remember reading the reason for it somewhere a long time ago but would love someone to refresh my memory. The table is a basic ID, Datetime table. The query is: select ID, Datetime from Table where Datetime <= '2010-03-31 23:59:59' The problem is that the query results include results where the Datetime is '2010-04-01 00:00:00'. The next day. Which it shouldn't. Anyone? Cheers Moo

  I love the IDLE. However, sometimes I have 100-200 line scripts and I want to sort of interactively debug/play with say, functions defined in foo.py instead of just calling python foo.py. Is there a way I can trigger IDLE in the context of my foo.py?

• Are there any small scale persisitant document/object databases?

  I have a few .Net projects that would benefit from using a document/object database opposed to a relational one. I think that db4o would be a good choice, but the $1200 commercial price tag is bit too much for us. I'd love to use MongoDb but it's design isn't for small scale, single server applications. Are there other options out there that I just haven't run across for small scale applications?

• Exporting Stata results

  I'm sure this is an issue anyone who uses Stata for publications or reports has run into: how do you conveniently export your output to something that can be parsed by a scripting language or Excel? There are a few ADO files that to this for specific commands (try findit tabout or findit outreg2). But what about exporting the output of the table command? Or the results of an anova? I'd love to hear about how Stata users address this problem for either specific commands or in general.

• Generate Makefile from Xcode Project for port of project to other UNIX systems

  (This was asked before but the answers were not conclusive) While I love development using Xcode (3.2.1), I have the need to port some projects to other UNIX systems, and even Windows. The code is all C++ but fairly complex. I'm looking for a way to automated / semi-automated generation of equivalent Makefiles out of my Xcode projects, after getting tired to do this by manual trial-and-error. Thanks for any hints. • Prevent windows from presenting any dialog on native code unhandled exception

  Our buildserver compiles and runs testsuites for many different c++ programs. From time to time the programs are buggy, and can crash. When they crash, Windows7 will always throw this modal dialog: Which has to be clicked away by a human being, causing the buildserver to sit idle. Is there a way to at a system level prevent this from happening? I know I can do it from within the process itself, but I'd love to be able to do it across the entire system.
