  I'm creating an installation script for an application that I'm developing and need to create databases dynamically from within PHP. I've got it to create the database but now I need to load in several .sql files. I had planned to open the file and mysql_query it a line at a time - until I looked at the schema files and realised they aren't just one query per line. So, please.. how do I load an sql file from within PHP? (as phpMyAdmin does with it's import command).

  I have a python script which makes a GUI. However, when I make it into an app, the GUI starts but when I press the button nothing happens. predictmiP does get included in build/bdist.macosx-10.3-fat/python2.7-standalone/app/collect/, like all the other imports I'm using (although it is empty, but that's the same as all the other imports I have). How can I get multiple python files, or an imported package to work with py2app?

  I have a main activity where I call VersionSettings vs = new VersionSettings(this); if (vs.firstRun2()) vs.versionCheckbox(); What I'm trying to do is set a checkbox (checkboxVideoType) to an unchecked state if the Android version is 1.6-2.1 I only want to do this the very first time the app is ever run, it never needs to run again. I think I'm running into the problem when the main activity calls versionCheckbox(), I get a force close if it attempts to run the code inside that is going to set the checkbox to false. I'm very new to programming and would really appreciate some help with this. I think I'm close, but need a push. Thanks in advance!   I have an existing IDA Pro project for a C166 processor embedded application. This project already has many functions, variables, etc defined. There are different versions of the embedded application I am looking at. The different versions of the application are 99% the same, but with slight variations in code and data that cause functions and variables to be at different memory offsets. I want to create a new IDA project for a different version of the application. I would like to somehow import all of my function and variable definitions from my existing IDA project. I would like IDA to recognize the signatures of the existing function definitions and define them at there new location in the new project. How can I do this? Are there certain plugins for IDA I can chain together?

  Hello, guys! Very important question: Please, look at my project (300Kb). I can`t use MFC/ATL, pure C++ only. I have COM library (niapi.dll), but no sources/headers available, dll only. There is class for connecting to server (NiApi::SrvrSession), class has login event handler (NiApi::SrvrSession::OnLogin). I used #import "NiApi.dll" to generate wrappers/information, then ISrvrSessionPtr session(L"NiApi.SrvrSession"); to create object, then trying session->put_OnLogin(); to assign events, but there is no one put_On or such member. niapi.tlh have _ISrvrSessionEvents struct inside, but it have no relations with SrvrSession. I need to use events from NiApi::SrvrSession for handling connection status. Please help or my boss kill me! (sorry for broken english, I read better than speak;)

  Hey everyone, I would appreciate a pointing in the right direction with the problem I'm having. In short, I'm working on an application that will create PDFs using TinyMCE and ColdFusion 8. I have the ability to create a PDF by just entering in text, pictures, etc. However, I want to be able to import an html template and insert it into the TinyMCE . Basically, I have a file directory code snippet that lets me browse through my 'HTMLTemplates' folder, and am able to select an HTML document. Now, I want to be able to take all the code from that selected HTML document and insert it into my TinyMCE box. Any tips on how I might do this, maybe? Thanks!

• Unable to sign an imported msi.dll assembly using tlbimp

  This seems so trivial, yet I can't get it to work.. I have an msi.dll wrapper (named Interop.WindowsInstaller.dll) which I need to sign. The way to do it is by signing it upon import (this specific case is even documented in MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/zec56a0w.aspx). BUT - no matter how I do it (w/ or w/o a keyfile, w/ or w/o adding "/delaysign"), the generated assemly's size is always 36,864 bytes and when viewing the DLL's properties there is no "Digital Signatures" tab (needless to say - the DLL is NOT signed). What am I missing here?? (... HELP!...)

  I have two modules, a host and a scanner. Both loop indefinitely to communicate with the serial ports. I want to import the variable "bestchannel" from scanner into host but by importing it, the while loop inside scanner runs first and loops forever. I want each module to run separately but be able to send each other data in real time. Is this possible?   I have posted this question previously but the answer is not appropiate. The solution provided just change the picture when the custombutton has focus and unfocus. Suppose in my application I need to change the picture if the user clicks on the customButton, n i m doing this by calling the same screen (ie UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(new Screen2(b));) . Screen2 is the screen which holds the customButton. On the click evevt i m pushing the same screen by passing aint variable pic_status that determines which picture to be drawn in the CustomButton in the new screen.   we have a .net framework application with a vc dll and a vc ocx, and now if we only import one dll ,it is ok, but when we import both, it will pop a messagebox saying: Debug Assertion Failed! and i studied the child module of our application that import the vc dll, i found after the framework import vc ocx and initialize , then the function LoadLibrary in our module importing the vc dll would return 0, that means memory limited or call improperly, i use getlasterror() the error code is 1114. so it is very frustrated ,hope someone can help me.

  Today I got some help from Jaroslav Havlin, the creator of the new "Search in Projects API". Below are the steps to create a search provider that finds recently modified files, via a new tab in the "Find in Projects" dialog: Here's how to get to the above result. Create a new NetBeans module project named "RecentlyModifiedFilesSearch". Then set dependencies on these libraries: Search in Projects API Lookup API Utilities API Dialogs API Datasystems API File System API Nodes API Create and register an implementation of "SearchProvider". This class tells the application the name of the provider and how it can be used. It should be registered via the @ServiceProvider annotation.Methods to implement: Method createPresenter creates a new object that is added to the "Find in Projects" dialog when it is opened. Method isReplaceSupported should return true if this provider support replacing, not only searching. If you want to disable the search provider (e.g., there aren't required external tools available in the OS), return false from isEnabled. Method getTitle returns a string that will be shown in the tab in the "Find in Projects" dialog. It can be localizable. • Windows 7 Picture Printing. All pictures are landscape, when they should be Portrait

  I have recently upgraded from XP to 7 and I am having trouble printing out some pictures. In XP, if I were to select some pictures for printing the program would keep their orientation, and print them no problem. Now with Windows 7, even if I select 1 picture to print in the same (wallet size (35)) it rotates the picture. Is there anyway to rectify this within Windows? I did take a screenshot, but as a new user I can't post it.

• Records not being saved to core data sqlite file

  I'm a complete newbie when it comes to iOS programming and much less Core Data. It's rather non-intuitive for me, as I really came into my own with programming with MATLAB, which I guess is more of a 'scripting' language. At any rate, my problem is that I had no idea what I had to do to create a database for my application. So I read a little bit and thought I had to create a SQL database of my stuff and then import it. Long story short, I created a SQLite db and I want to use the work I have already done to import stuff into my CoreData database. I tried exporting to comma-delimited files and xml files and reading those in, but I didn't like it and it seemed like an extra step that I shouldn't need to do. So, I imported the SQLite database into my resources and added the sqlite framework. I have my core data model setup and it is setting up the SQLite database for the model correctly in the background. When I run through my program to add objects to my entities, it seems to work and I can even fetch results afterward. However, when I inspect the Core Data Database SQLite file, no records have been saved. There are several examples of using MEF to plugin whole controller/view packages into a MVC application, but i didn't found one, using MEF to plugin funcional parts, used by other controllers. For example, think of a NewsService with a simple interface like interface INewsService { List<NewsItem> GetAllNews(); } That gets news wherever he wants, and returns them in a List of NewsItems. My page should load an exported INewsService and show the news on the page. But there is the problem. I cant just use [Import] in the controllers, as they are just created when they are needed. Edit: (Importing them to the main MVCApplication class doesn't work, becouse i cant access it from the controllers.) I think i found a way to access the main app via HttpContext.ApplicationInstance. But the Service object in this instance is null although it was created successfully in the Application_Start() method. Any idea why? So, how can i access the NewsService from within a controller?   Hello, I have imported a swf (not created with Flex, i.e. non-framework) into a Flex application. Once loaded, I would like to access movieclips within that imported swf. Looking at Adobe's docs (http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=controls_15.html), it seems straightforward; however, their examples are between a Flex app and an imported swf (created with Flex). Like their example, I'm trying to use the SystemManager to access the imported swf's content; however, I receive the following error: TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::MovieClip@58ca241 to mx.managers.SystemManager. • iPhone Open GL ES using FBX - How do I import animations from FBX into iPhone?

  I've been researching this extensively. We have a game that's 90% complete, using custom game logic in iPhone 4.0. We've been asked to import a 3D model and have it animate when various events happen in the game. I've put together an OpenGL view (based on Eagl and several examples), and used Blender to import the model, as well as Jeff LeMarche's script to export the .h file. After much trial, it worked, and I was able to show a rotating model (unskinned). However, the 3d artist hadn't UV unwrapped the model, so provided me a new model, this one as a Maya file, along with animation in a FBX format, a .obj file, and .tga texture unwrapped. My question is : how can I use FBX inside OpenGL ES inside iPhone to run through animations? And what's the pipeline to get this Maya file into Blender to be able to create a .h file. I've tried the obj2opengl however the model is missing normals (did it have it in the first place?) and the skin isn't applying at all (possibly a code issue, something I think I can fix). I'm trying to use Jeff LeMarche's animation tutorial but can't figure out how to get the model files into a proper .h file for use. Any advice?
