• Secure ldap problem

  I have tried to config my openldap to have secure connection by using openssl on Debian5.   Hi, I'm having an issue with my sqlservr.exe which is always reading the SBSMonitoring.mdf, around 50MB/sec. I saw that in Reliability and Performance mmc. I don't think my hard drive love it... and it slows down my server. We have a SBS 2008. I found nothing about it, help me please :) Thanks.

Other than setting each property individually, is there an easy way to deserialize the XML into my object?   I'm trying to recover movie files from my TNT receiver hard drive but it corrupts its FAT32 allocation table (crappy cheap device...) Using dosfsck is useless because the correct file length is the cluster length, not the (shorter) one in the table, and dosfsck only proposes to shorten the file, which I won't do. Question: how to recover a file using the FAT cluster chain instead of using the stored length in the FAT table? Edit I forgot to say: Linux solutions only please (I have no windows box)

Whenever I open a folder having images, image thumbnails appear for an instant and they are replaced by standard file icon. Argh... • Netbeans not Deploying/Debugging

  Hello all, I have this problem, it's the second time it happens to me, I'm using the NB IDE 6.9.1 and after a while I was working fine, but then It stopped deploying my webapp when debugging or running the application, I don't recall messing with the ant build scripts or any strange configurations, it successfully builds the dist folder and *.war file and I am able to deploy it manually, but when I run it through the IDE it deletes the webapp folder webapps/myapp,so I cannot debug it or run it, all I get is ClassNotFoundException for my servlets. I am unsure of what extra information would help to solve this issue Its pretty annoying, I don't know how it got solved the last time, it just "went away" any help is truly appreciated.

• 2D Inverse Kinematics Implementation

  Hi I am trying to implement Inverse Kinematics on a 2D arm(made up of three sticks with joints). I am able to rotate the lowest arm to the desired position. Now, I have some questions: How can I make the upper arm move alongwith the third so the end point of the arm reaches the desired point. Do I need to use the rotation matrices for both and if yes can someone give me some example or an help and is there any other possibl;e way to do this without rotation matrices??? The lowest arm only moves in one direction. I tried google it, they are saying that cross product of two vectors give the direction for the arm but this is for 3D. I am using 2D and cross product of two 2D vectors give a scalar. So, how can I determine its direction??? Plz guys any help would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance Vikram

• window login when web application is using network share in IIS 6

  Hi, I have installed a web application which is configured using a network drive But i am keep getting a pop up asking for credentials looking in the event log, the network logon is set to my domain/account which looks fine however caller user name is empty (not sure if this is an issue) the application works fine when i use a local drive the application also runs fine when i set "connect as" user the application also works fine when a share on the local machine is used!! direct asses using the unc path is not a problem Please advise what i can do or should check Thanks and Regards, James

It is not clear on websites I have consulted (Microsoft TechNet and others) whether preparing Active Directory is only required on a NEW install of Exchange 2007 sp3, or if it is required when upgrading an existing Exchange 2007 install to sp3. • Heap Dump Root Classes

  We have production system going into infinite loop of full gc and memory drops form 8 gigs to like 1 MB in just 2 minutes. After taking heap dump it tells me there an is an array of java.lang.Object ([Ljava.lang.Object) with millions of java.lang.String objects having same String taking 99% of heap. But it doesn't tell me which class is referencing to this array so that I can fix it in the code. I took the heap dump using jmap tool on JDK 6 and used JProfiler, NetBeans, SAP Memory Analyzer and IBM Memory Analyzer but none of those tell me what is causing this huge array of objects?? ... like what class is referencing to it or contains it. Do I have to take a different dump with different config in order to get that info? ... Or anything else that can help me find out the culprit class causing this ... it will help a lot.
