• Using C# to read/write from excel spreadsheet.

  Hi there, I need to make a program that writes some data to an excel spreadsheet. Something basic along the lines of First name, last name, phone number, e-mail per row with each category in its own column. I don't even know where to start. If someone could tell me which assemblies to reference and maybe point me to a website or a book that covers writing/reading data from an excel spreadsheet via a c# program that would be great.   I'm having trouble trying to find a way to guide a user from one point on a map to another. I can add the locations I want to the overlay. • Is it possible in Android Market to delete an existing FREE app and reupload it again as a PAY app?

  I have an app I am offering for free for now. At some point, I want to be able to change it to a pay app. The market doesn't allow a free app to become for-pay and doesn't allow for-pay apps to be priced at 0$. So is it possible to just delete the original app and then reupload it as a for-pay app ? It's okay in my case if users aren't notified of updates.

• What is a valid use for Response.Redirect("SomeURL", false) ?

  In ASP.NET I frequently use Response.Redirect to redirect the end user to another page on my system. I always set the second parameter to true to immediately end the response. For the life of me, I can't think of a reason why anybody would ever set that parameter to true. What's the point of continuing generating a page when the end user's browser is just going to be redirected to a different page immediately?

• mongodb java driver - raw command?

  Is it possible to execute raw commands as javascript through the Java driver for MongoDB? I'm tired of wrapping everything in Java objects using Rhino, and would happily sacrifice performance for the convenience of passing javascript directly through to the DB. If not, I can always use sleepymongoose or something, but I don't really want to add yet another language (python) to the stack at this point. Any insights are appreciated.

  I'm toying around with a very simplistic sort of process-monitor. Currently, it gets a list of the running processes and attempts to kill any process that is not white-listed. What I'm looking for is a way to prevent a process from starting that isn't on the white-list. If that's possible.   I have the following code in an ASP.NET MVC 2 application. internal TextWriter _writer; // some stuff _writer = _viewContext.Writer; _writer.Write(_tag.ToString(TagRenderMode.EndTag)); I tried to move it to MVC 1 and now it doesn't build any more. I'm getting this error: 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewContext' does not contain a definition for 'Writer' Can someone point out how I can resolve this?
