  My website has previous and next buttons. When the page loads id like the previous button to be invisible.(on the first panel) After the user clicks the next button (to go to 2nd panel), id like the previous button to appear. Is there some javascript that will do this?

  SELECT categories.*, COUNT(categoryID) AS kritCount FROM categories AS categories LEFT JOIN krits ON categories.id = categoryID WHERE (krits.approved = '1') GROUP BY categories.id So this works great except that it does not return a category that has a 0 count of krits in the category. It will if I remove the WHERE statement but I need the WHERE to only select the krits where the field approved = 1

  I have this query (which I removed some keys from for brevity's sake): SELECT id as in_id, out_id, recipient, sender, read_flag FROM received WHERE recipient=1 UNION ALL SELECT in_id, id AS out_id, recipient, sender, read_flag FROM sent WHERE sender=1 Which combines the results from two tables showing messages sent and received by a given user. What I'd like to do is add a column/flag to the result to distinguish which table the row belongs to so when I display them I can show a relevant icon for sent or received messages. • Is there a way to have element behind a div (links) clickable in areas where the div is "transparent

  I have a block element that is positioned absolutely and some other elements on page that are positioned fixed. The effect is the block on top floats over the page which works well. The links in the elements at the bottom underneath are not clickable. They shouldn't be when the content of the div is over them, but when the "marginal" areas which are transparent are over the links they are visible, but clicks only register to the covering div. The problem only happens when the padding covers the div. But if I just rely on the margin the bottom margin is ignored by browser so the scroll doesn't go high enough up. To solve this I resort to padding at the bottom. This is the problem. Is there a clean way around this? I realize I could have the underneath elements doubled and place on top, but opacity set to 0. That is an undesirable solution however.   I am a Yii beginner and am running into a bit of a wall and hope someone will be able to help me get back onto track. I think this might be a fairly straight forward question to the seasoned Yii user. So here goes... In the controller, let's say I run the following call to the model- $variable = Post::model()->findAll(); All works fine and I pass the variable into the view. Here's where I get pretty stuck. Any time I want 1 of these 4 unit cost values, I'll want all 4. Which is quicker?
