• Use Glassfish JMS from remote client

  Hi, I have glassfish installed on a server with a JMS ConnectionFactory set up jms/MyConnectionFactory with a resource type or javax.jms.ConnectionFactory.   Until I can convince others to convert over to Team Foundation Server 2010 (TFS2010), I'm still going to use Visual Source Safe 2005 (VSS2005). I will be upgrade to Visual Studio 2010 (VS2010) soon. What do I need to get VS2010 to work with VSS2005? I understand there is a patch for VSS.

  Hi, I'm trying to figure out a way to format a date string that sits inside string using javascript. The string can be: "hello there From 2010-03-04 00:00:00.0 to 2010-03-31 00:00:00.0" or "stuff like 2010-03-04 20:00:00.0 and 2010-03-31 00:00:02.0 blah blah" I'd like it to end up like: "stuff like 4 March 2010 and 31 March 2010 blah blah" Does anyone have any idea as to how this could be achieved?

• WPF: ContentPresenter changing Foreground unexpectedly depending on where styles are located

  Hi, I'm having an issue with the ContentPresenter behaving unexpectedly based on whether the styles are located in the Window.Resources or in a ResourceDictionary. Specifically, I'm setting the Foreground of the default TextBlock to Black, then setting the Foreground value in my default button style to White.   I am running on a new dev setup for SharePoint 2010 and trying to setup some External Content types. I think that I have setup BCS correctly (since I see it running in the central administration). When I go into SharePoint designer 2010 and try to setup a new External Content Type, I get the following error: "There is no Business Connectivity Service associated with the current web context." Am I missing something with the configuration or why am I not able to setup a new External Content Type to point to my existing SQL database

  I've successfully got PartCover 2.3 working with VS 2008 on my 64-bit machine. I'm now trying to get it to work with VS 2010 and NUnit 2.5.3. I've got NUnit using the correct CLR version, but I can't get PartCover to produce any output.   Hi, I'm currently using the apalike style for my bibliography, using natbib for author-year, however when I generate the bibliography I lose the labels that normally precede the reference, i.e. [S. Rostami, 2010] Shahin Rostami (2010) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask etc etc.. I read apalike.bst and it seems this is intended, my quesiton is, how do I get them back? Something I can include in the preamble? Otherwise is there a similar style that shows labels?

• Django & google openid authentication (openid.ax) with socialauth

  Hello I am trying to use django-socialauth (http://github.com/uswaretech/Django-Socialauth) for authenticating users for my django project. This is firs time working with openid and i've had to figure out how exactly this open id works. I have more or less understood it, by now, but there are few things that elude me. The authentication process starts when the request is put together in in django-socialauth.openid_consumer.views.begin. I can see that the outgoing authentication request is more or less something like this: https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/ud?openid.assoc_handle=AOQobUckRThPUj3K1byG280Aze-dnfc9Iu6AEYaBwvHE11G0zy8kY8GZ& openid.ax.if_available=fname& openid.ax.mode=fetch_request& openid.ax.required=email& openid.ax.type.email=http://axschema.org/contact/email& openid.ax.type.fname=http://example.com/schema/fullname& openid.claimed_id=http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0/identifier_select& openid.identity=http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0/identifier_select& openid.mode=checkid_setup&openid.ns=http://specs.openid.net/auth/2.0& openid.ns.ax=http://openid.net/srv/ax/1.0& openid.ns.sreg=http://openid.net/extensions/sreg/1.1& openid.realm=http://localhost/& openid.return_to=http://localhost/social/gmail_login/complete/?janrain_nonce=2010-03-20T11%3A19%3A44ZPZCjNc&openid.sreg.optional=postcode,country,nickname,email This is lot like 2nd example here: http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/docs/OpenID.html#Samples The problem is, that the request, i get back, is nothing like the corresponding example from code.google.com (look at the 3rd example in example responses. Why i am asking all this is, that perhaps i am doing something wrong and my outgoing request is wrong? Or am i doing all correctly and should change the socialaouth module to accept info in a new way and then commit the change? Alan
