  • Fluent Nhibernate - Mapping two entities to same table

    Hi, I'm trying to map two domain entities to the same table. We're doing a smart entity for our domain model, so we have the concept of an Editable Address and a readonly Address. I have both mapped using Classmaps, and everything seems to go fine until we try to export the schema using the SchemaExport class from NHibernate. It errors out saying the table already exists. I assume it's something simple that I'm just not seeing. Any ideas? Thanks

  • Matlab Simulink version control with multiple developers

    We're using Matlab Simulink for model development (and Real-Time Workshop autocoding) within a team of several developers. We currently use Visual Source Safe (yes, I know its terrible) for version control, using locks to prevent conflicting changes. We'd like to migrate our programme to a different version control system (svn, hg or git), but we're concerned about performing merges and diffs on Simulink .mdl files. Does anybody have useful experience in performing merges on Simulink files?

    I have created a Dynamic Data site against an Entity Framework Model I have 2 fields which are nvarchar(max) in the DB and they do not get rendered on the list view This is probably a sensible default But how do I overide this? Have tried adding various attributes to my MetaData class e.g [ScaffoldColumn(true)] [UIHint("RuleData")] But no joy with that Any ideas?

  • SQL Server "User-Schema Separation" and Entity Framework issues

    I have been fooling around with EF with a database that has implemented user-schema separation with a twist, there are multiple tables with the same name but are separated via the schema. So like: admin.tasks staff.tasks contractor.tasks When I created my EF model I noticed that there were 3 tasks tables: tasks tasks1 tasks2 Is this by design? Also is there a way to tell EF to add the schema to the name of the entity or am I SOL and doing it myself?

  • Multiple dependent select boxes, the Rails way?

So I would like a series of select boxes that are populated dynamically based on the previous, however I also would like to add another record to that select box if you cant find the one you want.     So the company I'm working for is looking for a means to verify that a given .xls/.xlsx file is valid. Which means checking columns and rows and other data. He's having me evaluate GrapeCity Spread and SpreadsheetGear, but I'm wondering if anyone else has any other suggestions of external tools to check out. We don't need a means to export .xls files or anything like that, just the ability to import them and verify they are valid based on a set of criteria I create. Thanks.

    Hello SO community, I haven't had any luck getting help in the Alfresco forums, and I'm hoping for more here. We are building an application based on Alfresco and jBPM and I have defined a workflow, but I have either defined it wrong or am missing something or there are bugs in Alfresco integration with jBPM and I need help figuring out which and fixing it. Here is the problem: I have an advanced workflow and I am trying to launch it from JavaScript. However, when I go looking for the workflow in my task list it is not there, but it is in my completed task list. The default transition (the only transition) from the start node points at a task node which has four transitions. There are 8 tasks and 22 transitions in the workflow. When I use the workflow console to start the workflow and end the start task, it properly follows the default start node transition to the next task. The new task shows up in "show tasks" but does not show up in "show my tasks" (apparently because the task was marked completed for some reason, though it is not in the "end" node). Clearly the assignees are on the task object and not on the workflow object. I added the assignees aspect to the start-state task so that it could hold them (after I had a problem; initially they were not there) and possibly they are still sitting there, but the start-state has ended before I even get control back from the web script (not that it would help if it wasn't ended, I need it to be in "In Editing" as the start-state is only used to log that the workflow was started). It has always confused me that the properties that I need to set on each task need to be requested before the task is entered (when you choose a transition you must provide the data for the next task before you can actually move to the next task as you have to validate that you have all of the required data first and then signal the transition). However, the code to start the workflow is asynchronous and therefore does not return either the started workflow or the current task (which in my case would be "In Editing"). So, either way you cannot set variables such as bpm:assignees and bpm:dueDate. I wonder if this is the problem with the user task list. I'm setting the assignees in the property list, but maybe those assignees are going to the start-state task and are not getting passed to the "In Editing" task? Note that this is my first jBPM workflow, so please don't assume I know what I'm doing. If you see something that looks off, it probably is and I just don't know it.     I'm attempting to extract a given pattern within a text file, however, the results are not 100% what I want. Everything else should be avoided. For example the tag "Fred Kej" did not have any "date" tag before it, therefore, it should be flagged as invalid. Also, as a side question, is there a way to store or track the text snippets that were skipped/rejected as were the valid texts. Thanks, Brian
