    Hi, I am just a beginner in ASP.NET. My question is simple, I wanna add list items dynamically from the code behind file and I want each item to have a text and couple of images as hyperlinks. The HTML sample should be like, <ul> <li>do foo &nbsp;<a href="#"><img src="some_image.png" /></a></li> <li>do bar &nbsp;<a href="#"><img src="some_image.png" /></a></li> ... </ul> The number of items is dependent on the collection retrieved by the code behind file. P.S. my code behind file is written in C#

    I have a c++ project I am working on. I am a little stumped at the moment. I need a little help. I need to implement code from the .h file into the main.cpp file and I am not sure how to do that.     I am going crazy with this one I have this folders and files structure / /projects /mytest /install /index.php /product /resources So, inside my install/index.php file I am trying to verify if /product folder does exist. I know that the folder exists, but looks like PHP doesn't. My code: if(file_exists('../../mytest/product') && is_dir('../../mytest/product')) { echo 'Folder exists!'; } else { echo 'PHP is blind or something!'; } Maybe I am very tired, but I just cannot figure out what is wrong.   • PHP: image size help me out

    Yes following from this: PHP: if more than ..px resize to.. As you can see it resizes if: if($width > 604 && $height > 453) { This works fine.. Although what if $width is over 604, and $height is under 453.. eg: 604x300, then this will skip the resize procedure..and same contrary(width is under, height is over). Also, if the dimensions on a picture is 500x900, and it gets resized, it gets really ugly resized. any great fix? Any good suggestion on how I should handle this please?

In my console I can see that the response is coming in, as when I visit the url, but I can't get the data with the ajax call...   • Move an object in the direction of a bezier curve?

    I have an object with which I would like to make follow a bezier curve and am a little lost right now as to how to make it do that based on time rather than the points that make up the curve. .::Current System::. Each object in my scene graph is made from position, rotation and scale vectors. These vectors are used to form their corresponding matrices: scale, rotation and translation. Which are then multiplied in that order to form the local transform matrix.     I am writing a server application that will provide a service on an ephemeral port that I only want accessible on the loopback interface. In order to do this, I am writing code like the following: struct sockaddr_in bind_addr; memset(&bind_addr,0,sizeof(bind_addr)); bind_addr.sin_family = AF_INET; bind_addr.sin_port = 0; bind_addr.sin_addr.s_addr = htonl(inet_addr("127.0.0.1")); rcd = ::bind( socket_handle, reinterpret_cast<struct sockaddr *>(&bind_addr), sizeof(bind_addr)); The return value for this call to bind() is -1 and the value of errno is 99 (Cannot assign requested address). Is this failing because inet_addr() already returns its result in network order or is there some other reason?

    Hey all. I'm computing the angle between two vectors, and sometimes Math.Acos() returns NaN when it's input is out of bounds (-1 input && input 1) for a cosine. What does that mean, exactly? But, as show above, NULL is a possible value. So where is the error? In the language spec? (Unlikely.) Is the compiler in error for allowing that? Is that coding guide in error (or a little ambiguous)? Or am I just wandering into the minefield known as undefined behavior?

    What will be the exact definition of leap year? AFAIK "A year which is divisible by 4 is a leap year. But for century years' the years which are divisible by 400 is a leap year." But that definition makes 100, 200, 300, 400.... upto 1700 NOT LEAP years! But in Gregorian calendar all of them are all leap year, check this out. You can also try "call 1700" in Linux to verify. So the correct algorithm for leap years would be: if ( (year % 4 == 0) && ( year <= 1700 || year % 100 != 0 || year % 400 == 0 )) printf("%d is a leap year.\n", year); else printf("%d is not a leap year.\n", year); But is this specific to Gregorian calendar?   • escaping query string with special characters with python

    I got some pretty messy urls that i got via scraping here, problem is that they contain spaces or other special characters in the path and query string, here is some example http://www.example.com/some path/to the/file.html http://www.example.com/some path/?file=path to/file name.png&name=name.me so, is there an easy and robust way to escape the urls so that i can pass them to urlopen? i tried urlib.quote, but it seems to escape the '?', '&', and '=' in the query string as well, and it seems to escape the protocol as well, currently, what i am trying to do is use regex to separate the protocol, path name, and query string and escape them separately, but there are cases where they arent separated properly any advice is appreciated
