PHP5 getrusage() returning incorrect information?

I'm trying to determine CPU usage of my PHP scripts. I just found this article which details how to find system and user CPU usage time (Section 4). However, when I tried out the examples, I received completely different results. The first example: sleep(3); $data = getrusage(); echo "User time: ". ($data['ru_stime.tv_sec'] + $data['ru_stime.tv_usec'] / 1000000); Results in: User time: 29.53 System time: 2.71 Example 2: for($i=0;$i<10000000;$i++) { } // Same echo statements Results: User time: 16.69 System time: 2.1 Example 3: $start = microtime(true); while(microtime(true) - $start < 3) { } // Same echo statements Results: User time: 34.94 System time: 3.14 Obviously, none of the information is correct except maybe the system time in the third example. So what am I doing wrong? I'd really like to be able to use this information, but it needs to be reliable. Submit to open up a popup window and carry through input data

Hi, I have a input box on one page that on submit opens a new page with a longer form and the first field is populated with what was entered from the previous pages input box. So on page 1 there is this code: <form action="sign-up.php"> <input type="text" name="email" value="sign up for email" onFocus="clearText(this)" onBlur="clearText(this)" style="float: left;"> <input value='Submit' /> </form> Then on the sign-up page the receiving form grabs the string out of the url // I would like to keep all of this functionality but it have it occur in a popup. I added this function to the submit: function myPopup() { window.open( "sign-up.php", "myWindow", "status = 1, height = 300, width = 300, resizable = 0" ) and the form becomes <form> <input type="text" name="email" value="sign up for email" onFocus="clearText(this)" onBlur="clearText(this)" style="float: left;"> <input onClick="myPopup()" value='Submit' /> </form> But it no longer appends the input data to the url string. Anyone have any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

Rails: Multiple "types" of one model through related models?

I have a User model in my app, which I would like to store basic user information, such as email address, first and last name, phone number, etc. I also have many different types of users in my system, including sales agents, clients, guests, etc. I would like to be able to use the same User model as a base for all the others, so that I don't have to include all the fields for all the related roles in one model, and can delegate as necessary (cutting down on duplicate database fields as well as providing easy mobility from changing one user of one type to another). So, what I'd like is this: User -- first name -- last name -- email --> is a "client", so ---- client field 1 ---- client field 2 ---- client field 3 User -- first name -- last name -- email --> is a "sales agent", so ---- sales agent field 1 ---- sales agent field 2 ---- sales agent field 3 and so on... In addition, when a new user signs up, I want that new user to automatically be assigned the role of "client" (I'm talking about database fields here, not authorization, though I hope to eventually include this logic in my user authorization as well). I have a multi-step signup wizard I'm trying to build with wizardly. The first step is easy, since I'm simply calling the fields included in the base User model (such as first_name and email), but the second step is trickier since it should be calling in fields from the associated model (like--per my example above--the model client with fields client_field_1 or client_field_2, as if those fields were part of User). Does that make sense? Let me know if that wasn't clear at all, and I'll try to explain it in a different way. Can anyone help me with this? How would I do this?

The SQL index allows to find quickly a string which matches my query. Now, I have to search in a big table the strings which do not match. How can I spec out an authlogic sessions controller using using a stub?

I want to test my User Session Controller testing that a user session is first built then saved. My UserSession class looks like this: class UserSession < Authlogic::Session::Base end The create method of my UserSessionsController looks like this: def create @user_session = UserSession.new(params[:user_session]) if @user_session.save flash[:notice] = "Successfully logged in." redirect_back_or_default administer_home_page_url else render :new end end and my controller spec looks like this: describe UserSessionsController do it "should build a new user session" do UserSession.stub!(:new).with(:email, :password) UserSession.should_receive(:new).with(:email => "[email protected]", :password => "foobar") post :create, :user_session => { :email => "[email protected]", :password => "foobar" } end end I stub out the new method but I still get the following error when I run the test: Spec::Mocks::MockExpectationError in 'UserSessionsController should build a new user session' <UserSession (class)> received :new with unexpected arguments expected: ({:password=>"foobar", :email=>"[email protected]"}) got: ({:priority_record=>nil}, nil) It's although the new method is being called on UserSession before my controller code is getting called. Calling activate_authlogic makes no difference.

Get Mail with PHP and IMAP in Gmail just loading

I'm not sure why. Ive tried a bunch of different code. Wrote it myself, and copied other people's tutorials but every bit of code it's loading forever and eventually stops due to script processing times on the server. Does anyone know why? Oh, and IMAP is turned on, i get IMAP / Exchange on my iPhone from this same account fine. My developer built our registration page to display a div when logins failed based on a string in the URL. i have a database in MySql that has a name column in it which contains several words(description). I am connected to database with java through eclipse. Problem, executing commands in cmd using c#

I need to execute the below command in command prompt. C:\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin>mysql -uroot -ppassword < d:/admindb/aar.sql When i do this manually in cmd, i am getting my results. Now i am trying to do this programatically, to execute it in cmd from c# code. I am using the below code to do it. I am not getting any errors and Result !!! If not, an exception occurs complaining that the service is terminated because of doing nothing. Secondly, the service can be hooked up to windows smoothly. However, the service terminates a short while after it is started. I looked into the process monitor, only the service process stays alive for that short while, the javaw process never showed up, however. Is there anyone who knows how this can be fixed? It works fine in an ordinary console environment. I think it has something to do with Windows service.

Probelem, executing commands in cmd using c#

I need to execute the below command in command prompt. C:\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin>mysql -uroot -ppassword < d:/admindb/aar.sql When i do this manually in cmd, i am getting my results. Now i am trying to do this programatically, to execute it in cmd from c# code. I am using the below code to do it. I am not getting any errors and Result !!! When i debug, i get the value of string commandLine as below, "\"C:\\MySQL\\MySQL Server 5.0\\bin\\\" -uroot -ppassword > \"D:/admindb/AAR12.sql" I guess the problem is with this string, passed to cmd. I want to pull data from table "Province_Notifiers" and also fetch all corresponding items from table "Province_Notifier_Datas". The table "Province_Notifier" has a guid to identify it (PK), table "Province_Notifier_Datas" has a column called BelongsToProvinceID witch is a foreign key to the "Province_Notifier" tables guid. C++ NetUserAdd() not working?

I posted earlier about how to do this, and got some great replies, and have managed to get the code written based off the MSDN example. However, it does not seem to be working properly. Its printing out the ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED message, but im not sure why as I am running it as a full admin. I was initially trying to create a USER_PRIV_ADMIN, but the MSDN said it can only use USER_PRIV_USER, but sadly neither work. Im hoping someone can spot a mistake or has an idea.
