  • How to check for case sensitive in hibernate criteria

    0 vote down star I have used hibernate to fetch the login information from the mysql database. But the problem is that say for example the user name is 'dhiraj' in the database, now the login is successful by entering the user name, but it is also allowing to enter by taking the user name in uppercase also, e.g., 'DHIRAJ'. I want to restrict it to as it in the database. Can you tell me how to achieve that in hibernate?

I am developing some plugins for Outlook using C# and this is a crucial part for both plugins.     Whatever changes made on the UserInformtion in AD, it is not getting updated in users Mysite. Farm Information: SharePoint 2007 + SP2 + Dec-09 CU. Issue: AD-Team changes the user email-id. changes are getting updated in SSP. changes are not getting populated from SSP to Mysite/Site-collections. any thoughts?

  • How do CUDA devices handle immediate operands?

    Compiling CUDA code with immediate (integer) operands, are they held in the instruction stream, or are they placed into memory? Specifically I'm thinking about 24 or 32 bit unsigned integer operands. I haven't been able to find information about this in any of the CUDA documentation I've examined so far. So references to any documents on specific uarch details like this would be perfect, as I don't currently have a good model for how CUDA works at this level.

    Given a maven project with a parent POM - including mostly plugin and dependency versions - how can I generate a POM which takes the information from the parent, places it into the child and removes the reference to the parent? Ideally this would be done with the maven-assembly-plugin. Update: I need this done automatically, since manually it's boring and tedious. I can access the sharepoint site as an intranet. How can I assign the access of all the active directory users and their profile to MOSS without adding them up manually ?     Is it safe to store information such as usernames and passwords within comments in your source code? I am not worried about some getting access to my source but I am concerned in regards to someone decompiling my compiled silverlight XAP file. Is anybody 100% sure if the compiler strips off commented code. I would assume it does but I want to be sure. Thanks!

  • Passing Auth to API calls with Web Service References

    I am new to web services. The last time I dealt with SOAP was when I created a bunch of wrapper classes that sent requests and received responses back per some response objects/classes I had created. So I had an object to send certain API requests and likewise a set of objects to hold the response back as an object so I could utilize that 3rd party API. Then someone came to me and said why not just use the wsdl and a web service. Ok, so today I went and created a "Service Reference". I see that this is what's called a "Proxy Class". You just instantiate an instance of this and then walla you have access to all the methods from the wsdl. But this leaves me with auth questions. Back when I created my own classes manually, I had a class which exposed properties that I would set then access for things like signature, username, password that got sent along with the Http request that were required by whatever 3rd party API I was using to make API calls. But then with using a Service Reference, how then would I pass this information just like I had done in my custom classes? For instance I'm going to be working with the PayPal API. It requires you to send a signature and a few other pieces of information like username and password. // Determins if API call needs to use a session based URI string requestURI = UseAuthURI == true ? _requestURIAuthBased + aSessionID : _requestURI; byte[] data = XmlUtil.DocumentToBytes(doc); // Create the atual Request instance HttpWebRequest request = CreateWebRequest(requestURI, data.Length); So how do I pass username, password, signature, etc. when using web service references for each method call? Is it as simple as specifying it as a param to the method or do you use the .Credentials and .URL methods of your proxy class object? It seems to me Credentials means windows credentials but I could be wrong. Is it limited to that or can you use that to specify those required header values that PayPal expects with each method call/API request?

  • Issues declaring already existing NSMutableArray in new class

    I have a class (DataImporter) which has the code to download an RSS feed. I also have a view and separate class (TableView) which displays the data in a UITableView and starts the parsing process, storing parsed information in an NSMutableArray (items) which is located in the (TableView) subclass. Now I wish to add a UIMapView which displays the items in the (items) NSMutableArray. Herein lies the issue - I need to somehow get the data from the (items) NSMutableArray into the new (mapView) subclass which I'm struggling with - and I preferably don't want to have to create a new class to download the data again for the mapView class when it already is in the applications memory. Is there a way I can transfer the information from the NSMutableArray (items) class to the (mapView) class (i.e. how do I declare the NSMutableArray in the (mapView) class)? Here's a overview of how the system works: App opened Data downloaded (using DataImporter class) when (TableView) viewDidLoad runs Data stored in NSMutableArray accessible by the (TableView) class And from here I need to access and declare the array from a new (mapView) class. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.     In am using MS Word via OLE to produce documents from my application. I want to give the users that have MS Office 2007 SP2 installed the ability to save the documents as PDF. This is only available in SP2, and the option should be hidden if the service pack is not installed (and of course also for users of previous versions of MS Office). Is this information available anywhere, like in the registry or any configuration file?
