  • iphone segmented control and uitableview

    I have a UITableView with a segmented control at the top. When you tap on the different segments, I want the table to reload with a new different sized array. I have tried everything including [self.tableView reloadData]. When you click on a different tab now, it only changes the cells that are out of view and does not add any more. Any ideas??? Thanks.

    I am toying with trace route, my application send a ICMP echo request with a ttl of 0 every time i receive a time exceeded message i increment the ttl by one and resent the package, but what happens is I have 2 routers on my network i can trace the route through these router but third hop always ends up being one of the open dns servers same ip every time no matter where i traceroute to. AFAIK this is the correct traceroute implementation, can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

  • Sharing cookies/session from WebView to HttpClient doesn't work

    I know this question has been asked a hundred times, and I've read and tried for 2 hours now, but I can't find my error :-( I am trying to create a simple webbrowser and therefore have a webview, where I login on a site and get access to a picture area. With help of a DefaultHttpClient, I want to make it possible to download pictures in the secured area. Therefore I am trying to share the cookies from the webview and pass them on to the HttpClient, so that it is authenticated and able to download. But whatever I try and do, I always get a 403 response back... The line cookieManager.getCookie(new URL(params[0]).getHost()); returns null, because there is no cookie for static.example.com, but only for www.example.com. .) When I manually say cookieManager.getCookie("www.example.com"); I get some cookies back, which I add to the HttpClient cookie store: There are 5 cookies added - testcookie = 0 - PHPSESSID = 320947238someGibberishSessionId - email = [email protected] - pass = 32423te32someEncodedPassGibberish - user = 345542 So although these cookies, a session ID and other stuff, get added to the HttpClient, it never get's through to download an image. Im totally lost... though I guess that it either has something to do with the cookies domains, or that Im still missing other cookies. But from where the heck should I know which cookies exist in the webview, when I have to specify a specific URL to get a cookie back?? :-( Any advice?

    I'm working with the ASP.NET Charting Library and I've got it generating a pie chart but I'm having a problem configuring it to generate the pie chart with semi-transparent slices. If you look at the image here you'll see what I'm talking about. Of the 4 pie charts the top 2 and the bottom left chart have the pie slice transparency I'm talking about. What settings of the chart do I tweak to render the slices with a certain % of transparency? Thanks!

    UIView has the concept of frame, bounds, center, and origin, and they all seem to be interrelated. Most of the time, I deal with frame when setting the position and size of a UIView (or subclass). I understand that the frame is using global coordinate system and the bounds is using coordinate of the local view (therefore it's x and y are 0, but not always), but it's still confusing to me when to use what. Question: Under what context (and what's the right time) the other properties (bounds, center, origin) should be used?

What I need is the session which is always alive. Is WCF reliable session something that can help? Or I can just play with timeout settings?

I would like the column headers to appear inside the expander for each group instead of at the top of the ListView.

How can I get a reference to this ComboBox into my ValueConverter. Or, alternately, why is what I'm doing silly and overly complicated. I'm as guilty as many of sometimes getting it into my head that something has to be done a certain way and then killing myself to make it happen when there's a much cleaner and simpler solution.
