  • Safari Frames Invisible Scrollbar

    I'm working on a website that uses not just frames, but frames within frames (ew, I know, but I don't get to choose). It actually works OK most of the time, but I'm running into a problem with some of the frames within frames in Safari (only). Some of the two-deep frames render in Safari with a small space on the right-hand side of the frame - I think it's just the ones with scroll set to "no", but fiddling with the scroll settings hasn't fixed it yet. It basically looks like there should be a scroll bar there, but there isn't. I've been working on this awhile and tried a lot of things: changing the heights of the rows, changing the scroll settings, adding a colls='100%' tag, changing the heights of the contents of the frames, as well as checking to make sure widths are set to 100% throughout. Nothing's fixed it so far. Does any one know what's happening here?     I'm making a simple form which has 5 input elements for parts of an address. I use jQuery to build and send an AJAX request to a PHP file on my server. For some reason my jQuery is not properly able to read the values from my input elements. What could be wrong? This is weird.

  • Core Data: Fetch all entities in a to-many-relationship of a particular object?

    Hi there, in my iPhone application I am using simple Core Data Model with two entities (Item and Property): Item name properties Property name value item Item has one attribute (name) and one one-to-many-relationship (properties). Its inverse relationship is item. Property has two attributes the according inverse relationship. Now I want to show my data in table views on two levels. The first one lists all items; when one row is selected, a new UITableViewController is pushed onto my UINavigationController's stack. The new UITableView is supposed to show all properties (i.e. their names) of the selected item. To achieve this, I use a NSFetchedResultsController stored in an instance variable. On the first level, everything works fine when setting up the NSFetchedResultsController like this: -(NSFetchedResultsController *) fetchedResultsController { if (fetchedResultsController) return fetchedResultsController; // goal: tell the FRC to fetch all item objects. Should have found 3." return [sectionInfo numberOfObjects]; } The same implementation works fine on the first level. It's getting even weirder. I implemented some kind of UI to add properties. I create a new Property instance via Property *p = [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"Property" inManagedObjectContext:self.moContext];, set up the relationships and call [self.moContext save:&error]. This seems to work, as error is still nil and the object gets saved (I can see the number of properties when logging the Item instance, see above). However, the delegate methods are not fired. This seems to me due to the possibly messed up fetchRequest(Controller). Any ideas? Did I mess up the second fetch request? Is this the right way to fetch all entities in a to-many-relationship for a particular instance at all?

  • Find and replace certain part of value (jquery)

    This might be a little complicated. See code below. When image is clicked I want to change "MY-ID-NUMBER" in "value" and "src" of object. But I want the other information to remain. When link is clicked I want to restore "value" and "src" so I can use the same function for next image that is clicked. Is it possible? Please help!     When I show a list of testplanViewModels in my View and the user selects one the SelectedTestplanId is returned to the Controller post action. What should also be returned is the TemplateId which belongs to the SelectedTestplanId. When the AutoMapper definition is run the Testplan.TestplanId is implicitly copied over to the TestplanViewModel.TestplanId. The same could be done by providing a TemplateId on the TestplanViewModel. When the user selects now a "TestplanViewModel" in the View, how can I attach the TemplateId to the controller action to access it there? The DropDownList does not allow 2 dataValueFields!   • Collections not read from hibernate/ehcache second-level-cache

    I'm trying to cache lazy loaded collections with ehcache/hibernate in a Spring project. When I execute a session.get(Parent.class, 123) and browse through the children multiple times a query is executed every time to fetch the children. The parent is only queried the first time and then resolved from the cache. Probably I'm missing something, but I can't find the solution. Please see the relevant code below.     I run an online shop and I wonder what would be more SEO-friendly URL for a product page: a) domain.com/category-name/product-name OR b) domain.com/product-name I already have URL-s for product category pages with format domain.com/category-name. On one hand I heard (but cannot find proof for) that Google like tree hierarchies in URL (vote for "a"). On the other hand though longer URL could lead to smaller kewyord density, also "product_name" comes as the last URL part so probably the least important (vote for "b"). Maybe both options are equally SEO-effective? PS. I know about canonical URL's but this is not the case, I don't want/need both URL's formats, just want to choose the best.

    Ok. I am starting out OOPS in PHP. Created a couple of classes: customer(parent) and sales(child) class that inherits from parent class. Created another testcustomer.php in which a new sales object is created however the salesprint() function defined in the sales class does not echo out customer's name though it is set to be "Jane" in the class.customer.php(parent). My thinking is that when sales class extends customer class PHP automatically includes all the code from class.customer.php to sales.customer.php and therefore the constructor in parent class set $name to "Jane".   • I have this broken php upload script

    I have this script for uploading a image and content from a form, it works in one project but not the other. I have spent a good few hours trying to debug it, I am hoping someone could point out the issue I might be having. Where there are comments is where I have tried to debug. The first error I got was the "echo invalid file" at the beginning of the last comment. With these specific areas commented out the upload name and type that I am supposed to be grabbing from the form is not being echoed, I am thinking this is where the error is occurring, but can't quite seem to find it.   • Passing password value through URL

    OK I see a lot of people asking about passing other values, URLS, random stuff through a URL, but don't find anything about sending a password to a password field. Here is my situation: I have a ton of sites I use on a daily basis with my work and oh about 90% require logins. Obviously remembering 80 bajillion logins for each site is dumb, especially when there are more than one user name I use for each site. So to make life easier, I drew up a nifty JSP app that stores all of my logins in a DB table and creates a user interface for the specific page I want to visit. Each page has a button that sends a username, password into the id parameters of the html inputs. Problem: I can get the usernames and other info to show up just dandy, but when I try and send a password to a password field, it seems that nothing gets received by the page I'm trying to hit. Is there some ninja stuff I need to be doing here or is it just not easily possible?     Using Jetty 7.0.2, I am unable to set a custom session cookie path. I am hosting multiple sites on the same server using apache to proxy requests to the proper context. (replaced http as htp as stackoverflow thinks my multiple links might be spam) <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName context.domain.com ProxyRequests On ProxyPreserveHost Off <Proxy *:80> Order deny,allow Allow from 127.0.0.1 </Proxy> ProxyPass / htp://localhost:8080/context/ ProxyPassReverse / htp://localhost:8080/context/ <Location /> Order allow,deny Allow from all </Location> </VirtualHost> Jetty is running on the same server on port 8080 and my context is available @ /context The user accesses the application @ htp://context.domain.com but jetty is setting the path for the session cookie @ /context. This prevents the browser from accessing the cookie since the the actual path to the context is not being used. I need to override Jetty's default setting to set the cookie for the context, and set the path at the root ( / ). In my Jetty's webdefault.xml I have the following, which is partially working: <context-param> <param-name>org.eclipse.jetty.servlet.SessionCookie</param-name> <param-value>CustomCookieName</param-value> </context-param> <context-param> <param-name>org.eclipse.jetty.servlet.SessionPath</param-name> <param-value>/</param-value> </context-param> The cookie is properly set with a custom name, but it is NOT setting the SessionPath. No matter what I set the value to... it refuses to set a cookie at any path but /context. This has been driving me crazy so any help would be greatly appreciated.
