    I have a simple Cocoa app using a NSWindowController subclass. In the nib I have set: File Owner's class to my NSWindowController subclass The 'Window' outlet of the File's Owner to the main NSWindow in the nib. The init method of my NSWindowController subclass is called (I call super), but not matter what I do windowDidLoad is never called. I must be missing something obvious, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is.

    Is there a way to only deploy cube schema, but without processing the cube. It seems in Visual Studio, when yo deploy a cube, by default, it is "Deploy and Process". The problem is processing takes so much time, and my main purpose is just writing some MDX script and see if it works well against the cube structure. It seems processing whole cube is just over kill. So I ask.

Is this the "correct" way of doing things or should we be instanciating the utility class as and when we need it?     In lager.elr (the main module of https://github.com/basho/lager) there is no function with name "debug" but I have an application that call debug function from lager module like: lager:debug(Str, Args) I am beginner in Erlang but I know when we call a function from a module lile "mymodule:myfunction" there should be a function with name "myfunction" in file mymodule.erl but in this case when I search in lager.erl for function "debug" I can't find it.

I can an error however, java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException To create the data source im using SysWoW64 odbcad32 and adding it the datasource to system DNS. The plugin integrates fine with Qt Creator but when I compile the program, I'm getting this error: "test.h: No such file or directory" Where test.h is the name of the custom widget. What am I doing wrong?     I'm building an open source 2D game engine called YoghurtGum. Right now I'm working on the Android port, using the NDK provided by Google.   • .NET JIT Code Cache leaking?

    We have a server component written in .Net 3.5. It runs as service on a Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition. It works great but after some time (days) we notice massive slowdowns and an increased working set. We expected some kind of memory leak and used WinDBG/SOS to analyze dumps of the process. Unfortunately the GC Heap doesn’t show any leak but we noticed that the JIT code heap has grown from 8MB after the start to more than 1GB after a few days. We don’t use any dynamic code generation techniques by our own. We use Linq2SQL which is known for dynamic code generation but we don’t know if it can cause such a problem. The main question is if there is any technique to analyze the dump and check where all this Host Code Heap blocks that are shown in the WinDBG dumps come from? [Update] In the mean time we did some more analysis and had Linq2SQL as probable suspect, especially since we do not use precompiled queries.   • GIT Exclude Specific Files when Pushing to Specific Repository

    Is it possible to exclude specific files (*.ai, *.psd) when pushing to certain repositories with GIT? My need comes from trying to use GIT for both version control and deployment to Heroku. If I include my graphic assets in the deploy, they slug size is larger than desired. However, I do need to include all project files in my main github repository. Thanks, Kevin

  • how to debug "deep" crashes in Android?

    Hi All, I've been trying to debug an android crash that is occurring without a Java Stack Trace... Java Stack Trace bugs are very easy for me to fix... but this bug I'm getting seems to be crashing inside the "NDK" or whatever it is the deep internals of Android are called... I've made no modifications to the NDK btw... I just dunno what else to call that layer hehe. Anyway I'm mainly looking for advice on deep-debug methods, rather than help with this specific problem... because I doubt I can post all the source code involved... so really I just need to know how to set breakpoints at the deep layers or whatever other methods there are to trace deep-crashes to their source... so I will briefly describe the bug and then post a LogCat. I have an app with 7 Activities Activity_INTRO Activity_EULA Activity_MAIN Activity_Contact Activity_News Activity_Library Activity_More INTRO is the initiating one... it fades in some company logos... after displaying them for a set time it jumps to the EULA activity... after the user accepts the EULA, it jumps to MAIN... MAIN then creates a TabHost and populates it with the 4 remaining activities now heres the thing... when I click on say, the More tab of the TabHost, the app pauses for a few seconds and then hard-crashes... no java stack trace, but an actual ASM level trace with the registers and IP and stack... the same thing occurs no matter which tab I select, Contact, News, Library, More... all of them crash with the same hard-crash if however I set the manifest to start the app at Activity_MAIN, bypassing the INTRO and EULA, then these crashes do not occur... so something is lingering from those opening activities that is somehow hosing the TabHost'ed Activities... and I'm wondering what the hell that could be... because I'm using finish() on those activites when they need to jump... in fact here is how I'm doing it let me know if you see any bugs: when jumping from INTRO to EULA I do: //Display the EULA Intent newIntent = new Intent (avi, Activity_EULA.class); The idea is that once I clicked the button 'btnSearch', the textbox 'txtSearch' should be 'focused' even after a process was initiated/opened outside the main window.   • Is the Angular templateCache shared between apps? Is it persistent?

    If I have two Angular apps that run on the same domain, will/can they share data in the templateCache? Or is the cache unique to each main application module? In general I'm trying to understand what dictates when a new templateCache is created. Furthermore I'm not clear on whether or in what way the templateCache is persistent? Looking in local storage and cookies, I don't see where anything is getting stored.
