• Acer aspire 5735z wireless not working after upgrade to 11.10

  I cant get my wifi card to work at all after upgrading to 11.10 Oneiric. I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Ive tried using the additional drivers tool but this shows that no additional drivers are needed. Before my upgrade I had a drivers working for the Rt2860 chipset. Is there some documentation on this? And why does radio and radio*button work as a search term, but radiobutton not? Edit: I know that * is usually supposed to be a wildcard matching 0 or more characters. But obviously it doesn't in this case.

On a separate question, if I used a handle system instead of pointers (which I am already working on) I don't see how this would help me recover from unfound resources, Does a handle system help in situations like this?

• How to fix the boot set up?

  I got two OSes in my PC, Ubuntu and Windows 7. Until yesterday Windows 7 was on top of my dual-boot menu list, but I wanted to change it, so I went inside Windows configurations and put Ubuntu first, but I also set the time to 0 because I thought I could access Windows through Grub. But what happens is that after I upgraded Ubuntu to 11.10, that screen with boot options don't show Windows 7 anymore. I went online searching for a solution to my problem, most of them told me to configure some Grub options and others to use programs to do it. I've done them all and still can't access Windows 7. Just in case my problem is not clear yet, this is how was my boot order before I messed it all up: Windows 7 Ubuntu with a time of 10 secs to choose between both. This is how I wanted it to be: Ubuntu Windows 7 with 0 time to choose, but, inside Ubuntu I could access Windows through that Grub screen. But this is what happens: Ubuntu Windows 7 0 time, so it don't let me choose anything and jumps inside Ubuntu then inside Ubuntu grub doesn't show up anymore (black screen) and it starts Ubuntu normally. I tried to fix this many times from different ways inside Ubuntu but nothing worked, also when I try do something and then upgrade my grub with sudo upgrade-grub it shows this message: Generating grub.cfg ...   Possible Duplicate: How can I fix a 404 Error using a PPA? • Google Sitemap Limits?

  I've read in multiple places that Google's sitemap limits sits at 50,000 URLs per sitemap - though it's my understanding that you can submit multiple sitemaps to overcome this problem. I've also found that Google follow the sitemap protocol found here. My question is - is there anywhere where Google directly comment on the specifications and limits of sitemaps they accept? All the information I've found isn't behind any Google domain.

• How can I fix the #c3284d# malvertising hack on my website?

  For the past couple of weeks at semi regular intervals, this website has had the #c3284d# malware code inserted into some of its .php files. Also the .htaccess file had its equivelant code inserted. I have, on many occasions removed the malicious code, replaced files, changed the ftp password on my ftp client (which is CoreFTP), changed the connection method to FTPS for more secure storage of the password (instead of plain text). I have also scanned my computer several times using AVG and Windows Defender which have found no malware on my computer which might have been storing my ftp passwords. I used Sucuri SiteCheck to check my website which says my website is clean of malware which is bizarre because I just attempted to click one of the links on the site a minute ago and it linked me to another one of these random stats.php sites, even though it appears I have gotten rid of the #c3284d# code again (which will no doubt be re-inserted somehow in an hour or so).. Has anyone found an actual viable solution for this malware hack? I have done just about all of the things suggested here and here and the problem still persists. Currently when I click on a link within the sites navigation menu within Google Chrome I get googles Malware warning page: Warning: Something's Not Right Here! oxsanasiberians.com contains malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site. Google has found that malicious software may be installed onto your computer if you proceed. If you've visited this site in the past or you trust this site, it's possible that it has just recently been compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed. Why not try again tomorrow or go somewhere else? We have already notified oxsanasiberians.com that we found malware on the site. I'm wondering if it is possible that the Google Chrome browser I am using has itself been hacked? Does anyone else get re-directed when clicking links on the the website?

  I have a requirement for a workflow which I am trying to model as a state machine, I see that there is more than one outcome of a given transition(or activity). Is it valid for a state machine to have more than one possible states, but only one state will be true at a given time? Note: This is my first attempt to model a state machine. Eg. might be: s1-t1-s2 s1-t1-s3 s1-t1-s4 where s1, s2, s3, s4 are states and t1 is transition/activity. A fictitious real world example might be: For a human, there can be two states: hungry, not hungry A basket can have only one item from: apple, orange. So, to model it we will have: hungry-pick from basket-apple found hungry-pick from basket-orange found apple found-eat-not hungry orange found-take juice out of it and then drink- not hungry
