  class Person{ @Persistent private List tags = ArrayList() } I want to let the user query a person based on his/her tag, so I had my query filter like this: tags.contains(tagValue1) and if the user want to search for multiple tags, I would just add to the filter so if the user is searching for 3 tags, then the query would be tags.contains(tagValue1) && tags.contains(tagValue2) && tags.contains(tagValue3) I think this approach is wrong, because the datastore then needs to have an index that have the tags property three times... and if the user search for more than 3 tags at a time then it will be broken. What's the proper way to do this? Do you guys have any suggestions?

• Ignore all folders with a certain name in SVN (subversion), how to?

  I am fairly new to Subversion and was wondering how exactly to ignore all folders by a specific name. From what I have read, I think I need to use the svn:ignore function, but I have no clue on how to actually do this. Some places mention a config file.. some say command prompt. I have my subversion repo set up on a windows 2008 server. I tried to go to command prompt and type svn:ignore name but that didnt work. The tutorial I used to set up my repo (with apache 2.2) had me create an etc folder in c:/. There I have subversion.conf, svn-acl and svn-auth-file. My subversion.conf file includes this: <Location /btp> DAV svn SVNPath C:/Files/Work/Repositories/btp AuthType Basic AuthName "By The Pixel Repo" AuthUserFile c:/etc/svn-auth-file Require valid-user AuthzSVNAccessFile c:/etc/svn-acl </Location> The client I use for my development machines is tortoisesvn. Im a bit of a noob so any help is appreciated it! Thanks.

  Hello my friends! Could you help me? I'm a Eclipse's user and I want synchronize my workspace on Ubuntu One. The problem is because the Eclipse creates a metadata inside of workspace, this meta have some configurations of computer that use this program.... So, when I sync my workspace folder, this meta go with all my projects, and when I download it in another computer, Ubuntu One overrides the meta folder and crash my Eclipse.... There is some way of share a folder on Ubuntu One, but eliminate some internal folders? Tks in advance!!!

• Why does OpenGL seem to ignore my glBindTexture call?

  I'm having problems making a simple sprite rendering. I load 2 different textures. Then, I bind these textures and draw 2 squares, one with each texture. But only the texture of the first rendered object is drawn in both squares. Its like if I'd only use a texture or as if glBindTexture don't work properly. I know that GL is a state machine, but I think that you only need to change active texture with glBindTexture. • On an SVN repository, can you ignore all extensions except one?

  Our need is to store only axcrypted (.AXX) documents in an SVN repository, and we want to prevent accidental uploading of the non-encrypted documents. Is there a way to do this on SVN server? • How can I make Firefox ignore Next/Prev-Buttons on the Keyboard?

  My ThinkPad notebook has "next page" and "previous page" buttons right next to the cursor keys. While writing code (sometimes in textareas on pages such as StackOverflow) accidentally hitting one of these keys is very annoying - either you navigate away or you get the "do you really want to navigate way" prompt. I never use those keys anyway so I wonder if there's an option in Firefox to ignore those keys. An option to remap them globally or simply disable them would (OS: Windows 7) be fine, too.

• Command line tool to write flac, ogg vorbis and mp3 id3v2 tags?

  Is there any command line tool that can write all three formats/containers? I've already searched but could not find anything that does the job. So far I'm using vorbiscomment, metaflac and id3tool and I really would like to replace them by a single tool if possible. If there is no tool than can write them all, is there at least any suggestion to replace id3tool with something that can write id3v2 (v2.4) tags at least? I'm not looking for a tagger but for a tool that will allow me to write meta data by a script to the different audio files. My current status is that I have a script that uses the three tools (vorbiscomment, metaflac and id3tool) but then i realized that id3tool can not write id3v2 tags... I'm creating automatically these 3 audio formats from a wav master and need to be able to automate the meta data writing to these files.

• How to get iTunes to recognize that certain ID3 tags have been removed from files?

  I use MusicBrainz Picard to manage the ID3 tags on my MP3 collection and iTunes for playing them and managing my iPod. I have Picard set to remove the Composer tag from any files that don't also contain the word "Classical" in the Genre tag. I've run Picard and it has removed the Composer tag from many of my files. However, iTunes keeps displaying the old value of the Composer field. I have tried right-clicking on the file to update, choosing "Get Info" and clicking OK. This has no effect on the Composer field when it has been removed entirely; it only refreshes the displayed value when it has been changed from one non-empty value to another. How can I get iTunes to stop showing the old values for tags that have been removed? Please note I don't want to lose other iTunes metadata such as ratings and play counts, so removing the files from the iTunes library and re-adding them is not an option.

  I am looking for a tool, which helps me to organize my personal bookmarks. I want to be able to assign tags and free comments to a bookmark. I want to search my bookmarks by tags date of bookmarking pattern in title pattern in url It would be nice to be web based to enable sharing my bookmarks between different machines. But for it would be OK, if it works on a single machine as long as it has some import/export way to transfer the links to a new machine replacing the old. As browsers I'm using Firefox and ChromePlus. It would be nice, if the solution works with both browsers. With free comments, I mean additional remarks stored for a bookmark, which is not essential for searching.

• Someone to clarify /tags and /branches in SVN (subversion)?

  I created folders /tags, /branches and /trunk on SVN server. I put initial project file into /trunk. But other folders confuses me. What should I put in /tags? I see most people do not ever use this folder. Is this like a temp folder or so? As I understood, the purpose of branches is to host a different versions. So I will have /branches/myapp_v1.0.0, /branches/myapp_v1.0.1, etc. Right? If this is true, how do I "tell" subversion tool (tortoise on windows, svn on linux) to upload project files into such and such folder?

• MonoRail CheckboxList?

  I'm trying to use a Checkboxlist in MonoRail to represent a many to many table relationship. There is a Special table, SpecialTag table, and then a SpecialTagging table which is the many to many mapping table between Special and SpecialTag. Here is an excerpt from the Special model class: [HasAndBelongsToMany(typeof(SpecialTag), Table = "SpecialTagging", ColumnKey = "SpecialId", ColumnRef = "SpecialTagId")] public IList<SpecialTag> Tags { get; set; } And then in my add/edit special view: $Form.LabelFor("special.Tags", "Tags")<br/> #set($items = $FormHelper.CreateCheckboxList("special.Tags", $specialTags)) #foreach($specialTag in $items) $items.Item("$specialTag.Id") $Form.LabelFor("$specialTag.Id", $specialTag.Name) #end The checkboxlist renders correctly, but if I select some and then click Save, it doesn't save the special/tag associations to the SpecialTagging table (the entity passed to the Save controller action has an empty Tags list.) • How to get acts on taggable working

  I am new to ruby on rails (and programming) and this is probably a really stupid question. I am using Rails 3.2 and trying to use acts_as_taggable_on to generate tags on articles and to have those tags show on article index and show pages as a clickable links. I have tags clickable on both the article show and index pages, but the links just go back to the index page and don't sort according to the tag name. I have scoured the Internet and pieced together the code below from various sources, but I am clearly missing something. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I have exhausted my seemingly limited knowledge! Thanks. • CodeIgniter's XSS Protection is removing <script> tags from user inputs... but I don't want it to!

  Hey folks, CodeIgniter is brilliant but I'm using it to develop a site where users need to be able to share their code for websites. Unfortunately, CodeIgniter has been doing the "right" thing by removing <script> tags from my user's inputs into the database, so when it's returned data looks like this: [removed] User's data [removed] However, I need my site to DISPLAY script tags but obviously not PARSE them. How can I get CodeIgniter or PHP to return <script> tags, but still sanitise them for the database and return them without them executing? Thanks! Jack EDIT: By the way, it's not an option to use stuff like Markdown, everything has to output to copy-pastable code that could work with no modification somewhere else
