    I''m trying to build a generic cache layer. ICacheRepository Say I have the following: public class Person { public int PersonId { get; set; } public string Firstname { get; set; } public string Lastname { get; set; } public DateTime Added { get; set; } } And I have something like this: list.Where(x => x.Firstname == "Syska"); Here I want to extract the above information, to see if the query supplied the "PersonId" which it did not, so I dont want to cache it. But lets say I run a query like this: list.Where(x => x.PersonId == 10); Since PersonId is my key ... I want to cache it. with the key like "Person_10" and I later can fetch it from the cache. I know its possible to extract the information with Expression<Func<>> but there seems to be a big overhead of doing this (when running compile and extract the Constant values etc. and a bunch of cache to be sure to parse right) Are there a framework for this? Or some smart/golden way of doing this ?

    I have a application (made in Delphi) that contains a Authentication system (login & password). This system is in PHP, and the application get results from PHP using HTTP GET method. The system returns 'OK' if login and password are correct, and 'NO' if not correct. Like this... procedure Check; var x: string; begin x:=Get('www.mywebsite.com/auth.php?user=xxxxxx&pass=zzzzzz'); if x='OK' then UnlockFeatures else MessageBox(0,'You're not VIP','Error',0); end; Well, it works fine, but it is very easy to circumvent this system with sniffers, packet editor or proxy. So, I want to get some information (in PHP) that changes every time, and that could be possible get the same information by my application. What can I do? I don't need codes.     So I am trying to figure out how to post on a website that uses a drop down menu which is holding the values like this (based on the page source): <td valign="top" align="right"><span class="emphasis">Select Item Option : </span></td> <td align="left"> <span class="notranslate"> <select name="ItemOption1"> <option value="">Select Item Option</option> <option value="321_cba">Item Option 1</option> <option value="123_abcd">Item Option 2</option> ... Now there are two of these drop down menus on top of each other. I want to be able to select an item from drop down menu 1 and drop down menu 2 and then submit the page. Now based on the code it submits the information using the following code: <td colspan="2" align="center"> <input type="submit" value="View Result" onclick="return check()"> </td> </tr> </table> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption1" value=""> <input type="hidden" name="ItemOption2" value=""> I have no idea how to select the items in the drop down menu and then submit the page and capture the information on the resulting page into a text file. Can someone please help me with this?

  • maven test cannot load cross-module resources/properties ?

    I have a maven mantained project with some modules . One module contains one XML file and one parsing class. Second module depends on the first module. There is a class that calls the parsing class in the first module , but maven seems cannot test the class in the second module. Maven test reports : java.lang.NullPointerException at java.util.Properties.loadFromXML(Properties.java:851) at foo.firstModule.Parser.<init>(Parser.java:92) at foo.secondModule.Program.<init>(Program.java:84) In "Parser.java" (in the first module) , it uses Properties and InputStream to read/parse an XML file : InputStream xmlStream = getClass().getResourceAsStream("Data.xml"); Properties properties = new Properties(); properties.loadFromXML(xmlStream); The "data.xml" is located in first module's resources/foo/firstModule directory , and it tests OK in the first module. It seems when testing the second module , maven cannot correctly load the Data.xml in the first module . I thought I can solve the problem by using maven-dependency-plugin:unpack to solve it . In the second module's POM file , I add these snippets : <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-dependency-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.1</version> <executions> <execution> <id>data-copying</id> <phase>test-compile</phase> <goals> <goal>unpack</goal> </goals> <configuration> <artifactItems> <artifactItem> <groupId>foo</groupId> <artifactId>firstModule</artifactId> <type>jar</type> <includes>foo/firstModule/Data.xml</includes> <outputDirectory>${project.build.directory}/classes</outputDirectory> </artifactItem> </artifactItems> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> In this POM file , I try to unpack the first module , and copy the Data.xml to classes/foo/firstModule/ directory , and then run tests. And indeed , it is copied to the right directory , I can find the "Data.xml" file in "target/classes/foo/firstModule" directory. But maven test still complains it cannot read the File (Properties.loadFromXML() throws NPE). I don't know how to solve this problem. I tried other output directory , such as ${project.build.directory}/resources , and ${project.build.directory}/test-classes , but all in vain... Any advices now ? Thanks in advanced.     I am attempting to get process information by using the HP-UX C/C++ library. After scouring the internet, I have discovered that HP-UX has the pstat.h header file which allows programmers to retrieve the process information. After attempting to understand code from the internet hp website, I attempted to create a little test sample to comprehend what the code does. I attempted to use example 3, however, I ran into several issues. The first issue came when I attempted to execute the following line of code: (void)printf("pid is %d, command is %s\n", pst[i].pst_pid, pst[i].pst_ucomm); When I attempted to print the string, I hit a memory fault. I know that I must be doing something foolish since my C/C++ skills are not that great, but I cannot figure out what the issue is since the code is largely copied from the hp website. So here's the question(s) for clarity: 1. Why can't printf("%s", pst[i].pst_ucomm); handle strings? 2. Why can't I iterate over the processes in the system? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I have been trying to get information regarding expired ssl certificates using python 3 but it would be nice to be able to get as verbose a workup as possible. any takers? So far i have been trying to use urllib.request to get this info (to no avail), does this strike anyone as foolish?   • To show the help related information in WPF.

    I have several dialogs in the application. I want to pop up help related box when user clicks on the help button next to Main Heading. The help box is activated by selecting the small blue icon next to the heading. When the help box appears it has the information that is required to understand the entry related to the dialog. This help box automatically disappears when user clicks any where other then the help box. Please help!!

  • debugging information cannot be found or does not match visual studio's

    I copied an existing project and renamed the folder. Now I get this error when I try to compile the application debugging information cannot be found or does not match. No symbols loaded. Do you want to continue debugging ? If I click yes, it compiles and runs fine. But now I have to deal with that message. Just curious about what i change in the projects properties to get it to stop.
