    - by Broken Link
Nant.core.dll : 0.86.2898.0 I can not get the following tag working on my machine. <sysinfo verbose="true" /> <sysinfo /> It gives me the following error. If I comment out those two lines I'm able to build. I google'd but not much help. Any idea? • How to programmatically call a Maven-task

    - by pmf
I'm using Maven in the context of another build-tool (leiningen for Clojure, but this should not matter), and I would like to know how I would call a plugin like dependency:build-classpath programmatically (i.e. via the Maven-API, not via the mvn-command).

  • Problem with building with csc task in Ant

    - by Wing C. Chen
I have an ant build target using csc: <target name="compile"> <echo>Starting compiling ServiceLauncher</echo> <csc optimize="true" debug="true" warnLevel="1" unsafe="false" targetType="exe" failonerror="true" incremental="false" mainClass = "ServiceLauncher.Launcher" srcdir="ServiceLauncher/Launcher/" outputfile="ServiceLauncher.exe" > <reference file="libs/log4net.dll"/> <define name="RELEASE"/> </csc> </target> When I run it, the following exception comes up: csc failed: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "csc": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified However, it runs without the exception but never correctly builds the .exe file, when I manually add in an empty ServiceLauncher.exe. How can I correctly build this .Net project "ServiceLauncher"?

  • how to detect an IMAPMessage is not an email but a Task or Calendar item

    - by raticulin
I am accessing Lotus and Groupwise using javamail via IMAP, recursively accessing all folders and processing email I find. But in folders like Tasklist and Calendar (those are from Groupwise but I think I remember Lotus had similar things), I get the items in there as instances of IMAPMessage, and so they are processed as if they were mail. I understand those items get exposed as mail through the IMAP protocol (either by design or by mistake), but I only want to process proper mail. Is there a way to do this? I have dismissed following approaches so far: Make sure the message has a message-id, at least in Groupwise Calendar items have it. Ignore folders by name (such as Calendar and Tasklist): is not totally correct as a user can move mail inside those folders. What I am looking is some IMAP api call I have missed so far or something in those lines...

  • Task managment for team

    - by Kartoch
I'm looking for a web application to manage tasks (not necessary programming-oriented) for a small team. It must be easy to setup and maintain. It must offer file upload and mail users in case of a change. There is hundred of solutions available but most are too complex for what we want or are not "stable" (not updated since a long time, not very well programmed). i was wondering if stack overflow's folks have some recommendations...

  • RMIC task failing with base not supported

    - by Aaron
I am running the following target in my build.xml <target name="rmiserver"> <rmic base="../bin" classname="com.deleted.ctiv.remote.IvProvisionerResponseImpl"></rmic> </target> and I get the following error [startAnt] [exec] BUILD FAILED [startAnt] [exec] /home/gtaadm/gta/tomcat-5.5.20-8/webapps/taiga-2.0/project/working/EBIG_1.1/revision-1722/build.xml:44: The following error occurred while executing this line: [startAnt] [exec] /home/gtaadm/gta/tomcat-5.5.20-8/webapps/taiga-2.0/project/working/EBIG_1.1/revision-1722/ebig/ear/build.xml:57: The <rmic> type doesn't support the "base" attribute. It works when I run it eclipse, but not in my automated build environment.

  • How can I await the first completed async task of a list in .Net?

    - by Eyal
My input is a long list of files located on an Amazon S3 server. I'd like to download the metadata of the files, compute the hashes of the local files, and compare the metadata hash with the local files' hash. Currently, I use a loop to start all the metadata downloads asynchronously, then as each completes, compute MD5 on the local file if needed and compare. Here's the code (just the relevant lines): Dim s3client As New AmazonS3Client(KeyId.Text, keySecret.Text) Dim responseTasks As New List(Of System.Tuple(Of ListViewItem, Task(Of GetObjectMetadataResponse))) For Each lvi As ListViewItem In lvStatus.Items Dim gomr As New Amazon.S3.Model.GetObjectMetadataRequest gomr.BucketName = S3FileDialog.GetBucketName(lvi.SubItems(2).Text) gomr.Key = S3FileDialog.GetPrefix(lvi.SubItems(2).Text) responseTasks.Add(New System.Tuple(Of ListViewItem, Task(Of GetObjectMetadataResponse))(lvi, s3client.GetObjectMetadataAsync(gomr))) Next For Each t As System.Tuple(Of ListViewItem, Task(Of GetObjectMetadataResponse)) In responseTasks Dim response As GetObjectMetadataResponse = Await t.Item2 If response.ETag.Trim(""""c) = MD5CalcFile(lvi.SubItems(1).Text) Then lvi.SubItems(3).Text = "Match" UpdateLvi(lvi) End If Next I've got two problems: I'm awaiting the reponses in the order that I made them. I'd rather process them in the order that they complete so that I get them faster. The MD5 calculation is long and synchronous. I tried making it async but the process locked up. I think that the MD5 task was added to the end of .Net's task list and it didn't get to run until all the downloads completed. Ideally, I process the response as they arrive, not in order, and the MD5 is asynchronous but gets a chance to run. Edit: Incorporating WhenAll, it looks like this now: Dim s3client As New Amazon.S3.AmazonS3Client(KeyId.Text, keySecret.Text) Dim responseTasks As New Dictionary(Of Task(Of GetObjectMetadataResponse), ListViewItem) For Each lvi As ListViewItem In lvStatus.Items Dim gomr As New Amazon.S3.Model.GetObjectMetadataRequest gomr.BucketName = S3FileDialog.GetBucketName(lvi.SubItems(2).Text) gomr.Key = S3FileDialog.GetPrefix(lvi.SubItems(2).Text) responseTasks.Add(s3client.GetObjectMetadataAsync(gomr), lvi) Next Dim startTime As DateTimeOffset = DateTimeOffset. Now Do While responseTasks.Count > 0 Dim currentTask As Task(Of GetObjectMetadataResponse) = Await Task.WhenAny(responseTasks.Keys) Dim response As GetObjectMetadataResponse = Await currentTask If response.ETag.Trim(""""c) = MD5CalcFile(lvi.SubItems(1).Text) Then lvi.SubItems(3).Text = "Match" UpdateLvi(lvi) End If Loop MsgBox((DateTimeOffset. Now - startTime).ToString) The UI locks up momentarily whenever MDSCalcFile is done. The whole loop takes about 45s and the first file's MD5 result happens within 1s of starting. If I change the line to: If response.ETag.Trim(""""c) = Await Task.Run(Function () MD5CalcFile(lvi.SubItems(1).Text)) Then The UI doesn't lock up when MD5CalcFile is done. The whole loop takes about 75s, up from 45s, and the first file's MD5 result happens after 40s of waiting.

  • java asynchronous task.

    - by Tony
For some of HTTP requests from clients, there was very complex business logic in server side. Some of these business logics doesn't require to response to the client immediately, like sending a email to somebody. Can I put those tasks in an asynchronous method.

  • Ruby: "do this task eventually"

    - by marienbad
I hope this question is clear enough -- if not let me know :) What API would I use when I want to write a procedure at runtime and then just run it eventually at low priority while continuing to do the important stuff right now? Example: link checker 1. I write a blog post with links represented by Link objects. I publish the post. 2. Eventually (at very low priority) the system gets around to fetching the URL of each Link object to make sure it's not broken and indicates that in a property of the Link object. 3. When a user visits my blog post, the render code that turns Link objects into HTML knows whether the links have been checked. I'm assuming there's a very general purpose API for doing this kind of "eventually/low priority" stuff.

  • Ant telnet is hanging on a simple task

    - by Sagar
<?xml version="1.0" ?> <project name="test" default="root"> <target name="telnet"> <telnet server="10.1.1.1"> <read>login:</read> <write>root</write> <read>password:</read> <write>${PASSWORD}</write> <read>#</read> <write>ls</write> <read>#</read> </telnet> </target> </project> That is the code I have in a build.xml file. When I run ant (version 1.8, in bash) (I have downloaded and copied over the jars for commons-net-2.0 and jakarta-oro-2.0.8 already), this is the output I get: Buildfile: /home/sagar/build.xml telnet: and then it just sits there. When I do a "who" on my server, I can see "System" waiting on login. But there is no progress after this. I can telnet into the server using normal telnet means (putty, bash, etc). I even tried the full telnet command instead of read/write: <telnet server="10.1.1.1" userid="root" password="root"> Any help is much appreciated! Note: JRE 1.5, Ant 1.8, commons-net version 2.0, jakarta version 2.0.8

  • What is the difference between these task definition syntaxes in gradle?

    - by bergyman
    A) task build << { description = "Build task." ant.echo('build') } B) task build { description = "Build task." ant.echo('build') } I notice that with type B, the code within the task seems to be executed when typing gradle -t - ant echoes out 'build' even when just listing all the various available tasks. The description is also actually displayed with type B. However, with type A no code is executed when listing out the available tasks, and the description is not displayed when executing gradle -t. The docs don't seem to go into the difference between these two syntaxes (that I've found), only that you can define a task either way.

  • Disable Task Manager using c# from Limited User Account

    - by srk
I need to disable and enable the taskmanager from my application. I am doing this for my Kiosk application. I know i can do this by changing the Key in registry using below code. But the problem is my kiosk application will run in limited user account which does not allow the application to change key in registry level. Code working perfectly in Administrator account : RegistryKey regkey; string keyValueInt = "1"; string subKey = "Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\System"; regkey = Registry.CurrentUser.CreateSubKey(subKey); regkey.SetValue("DisableTaskMgr", keyValueInt); regkey.Close(); How can i achieve this in Limited user account ?

  • Are there built-in issue tracking and task management in IDEs that integrate into SourceForge, Googl

    - by Kai Sellgren
Hi, This question may not be exactly programming related, but this is about development. I have been trying to find IDEs that support JIRA/Bugzilla so that I could simply integrate the IDE with SourceForge. I do not like to refresh my browser to see issues, bug reports, security problems, etc. I would like to send issues, resolve issues, right from the IDE. I am currently developing with NetBeans, but I see no ways of integrating into any of the services provided by SourceForge. Am I missing something?

  • Multiple depends in ant task

    - by glowcoder
If I have three targets, one "all", one "compile" and one "jsps", how would I make "all" depend on the other two Would it be <target name="all" depends="compile, jsps"> or would it be <target name="all" depends="compile","jsps"> Or maybe something even different? I tried searching for example ant scripts to base it off of, but I couldn't find one with multiple depends. Thanks!

  • Current tasks count at Appengine Task Queue

    - by splix
Are there any ways to get count of current unfinished tasks at Google Appengine development server? I need it for making my integration test. I found a way to get this when running it local (just in mem), as described at appengine docs. But when i'm running it as a standalone server, from maven, this doesn't work. Just because library appengine-testing conflicts with Appengine SDK classes, and i can't use those classes together, when running sdk dev server.

  • Simple "Hello World!" console application crashes when run by windows TaskScheduler (1.0)

    - by user326627
I have a batch file which starts multiple instances of simple console application (Hello World!). I work on Windows server 2008 64-bit. I configure it to run in TaskScheduler, at startup, and whether user is logged-in or not. The later configuration means that the instances will run without GUI (i.e. - no window). When I run this task, some of the instances just fail, after consuming 100& CPU. Application event-log shows the following error: "Faulting module KERNEL32.dll, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e0421d, exception code 0xc0000142, fault offset 0x00000000000b8fb8, process id 0x29bc, application start time 0x01cae17d94a61895." Running the batch file directly works just fine. It seems to me that the OS has a problem loading too many instances of the application when no window is displayed. However - I can’t figure out why... Any idea??

  • Handling hundreds of dependencies with ant

    - by Roberto
Hi guys, I have to refactor an ant xml file. Basicly I have one big task that checkouts (using cvs) a lot of dependencies, build them, and then copy all the jar/wsdl generated by building them to a directory that I specify. If one dependency version changes, I have to change the name in at least 3 places on the xml file (cvs checkout, build, copy). What I'd like to have is just a single place where I can specify my dependencies name, without having to search & replace the dependency name through the code. One of the problems is that the cvs project could be /path1/path2/project with tag=v12 but then the jars generated by the single project build could be several with different names, so it seems to be a bit complicated. Do you have any idea on how I can get this done?

  • Google App Engine - About how much quota does a single datastore put use?

    - by Spines
The latency for a datastore put is about 150ms (http://code.google.com/status/appengine/detail/datastore/2010/03/11#ae-trust-detail-datastore-put-latency). About how much CPUTime is used by a single datastore put with data size of 100 bytes, into an entity that has only 2 columns, and no indexes? I plan to do some testing with this later today to figure it out, but if anyone already knows that would help me out :). Also, does anyone know about how much extra overhead in CPUTime doing this datastore put through the task queue would be? Note: This is kind of a follow up to this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2421075/google-app-engine-how-reliable-are-the-logs.

  • task strategies for handling HardDeadlineExceededError

    - by Stevko
I've got a number of tasks/servlets that are hitting the HardDeadlineExceededError which is leaving everything hanging in an 'still executing' state. The work being done can easily exceed the 29 second threshold. I try to catch the DeadlineExceededException and base Exception in order to save the exit state but neither of these exception handlers are being caught... Is there a way to determine which tasks are in the queue or currently executing? Are there any other strategies for dealing with this situation?
