  • My store returns no code id and breaks 404 error. Magento

    I know what the issue is but I dont know how to fix it. I just migrated my magento store locally and I guess possibly some data may have been lost when transferring the DB. the DB is very large. Anyhow, when I login to my admin page, I get a 404 error, page was not found. I debugged the issue and got down to the wire. The exception is thrown in Mage/Core/Model/App.php. Line 759 to be exacted. The following is a snippet. Mage/Core/Model/App.php if (empty($this->_stores[$id])) { $store = Mage::getModel('core/store'); /* @var $store Mage_Core_Model_Store */ if (is_numeric($id)) { $store->load($id); // THIS ID IS FROM Mage_Core_Model_App::ADMIN_STORE_ID and its empty which causes the error } elseif (is_string($id)) { $store->load($id, 'code'); } if (!$store->getCode()) { // RETURNS FALSE HERE BECAUSE NO ID Specified $this->throwStoreException(); } $this->_stores[$store->getStoreId()] = $store; $this->_stores[$store->getCode()] = $store; } The store returns null because $id is null so it therefore does not load any model which explains why it returns false when calling getCode() [EDIT] If you want clarification, please ask for more before voting my post down. Remember I am still trying to get help not get neglected. I am using Version 1.4.1.1. When I type in the URL for admin, I get a 404 page. I walked through the code thouroughly and found that the Model MAGE_CORE_MODEL_STORE::getCode(); Returns Null which triggers the exception. and ends the script. I do not have any other detail. I further troubleshooted the issue by checking the database and that is what the screen shot is. Showing that there is infact data in the Code Colunn. So my question is why is the Model returning a empty column when the column clearly has a value. What can I do to further troubleshoot and figure out why its not working [EDIT UPDATE NEW] I did some research. the reason its returning NULL is because the store ID is null being passed Mage::getStoreConfigFlag('web/secure/use_in_adminhtml', Mage_Core_Model_App::ADMIN_STORE_ID); // THIS IS THE ID being specified Mage_Core_Model_App::ADMIN_STORE_ID has no value in it, so this method throws the exception. Not sure why how to fix this.

    I am trying to create a Response class in Java which has a method void setResponse(String response); Different response subclasses will have different requirements for the response. The string that is passed to the function is received from the user. What is the correct way of handling a wrong response? Should the function throw an exception like IllegalResponseException Should the function be declared like boolean setResponse(String response, String errorMsg) and return false if the response is wrong and set the error message to the appropriate value

    I'm trying to edit a legacy wss3 sharepoint site. Messing around with a 700+ code lines aspx page I got a "The server tag is not well formed." error on sharepoint and The ?content=1 trick does not work. Anyone has a tip on how to get to the line that's causing the problem? I'm expecting something like the aspnet ysod, at least that's usefull. If it's worth something, I have access to the actual server.

I'm asking because my default setting for IIS7 is <deployment retail="true" /> so no error is being showed and only adding additional error handling module to website will allow to see errors generated by this application and thats why I want to override this message to inform users about it. We then proceeded to configure the job to use a service account instead. Service account was specified under SecurityCredentials and SQL Server AgentProxiesSSIS Package Execution. Also there is not a single ATA read or write error in any disk in the raid (I check them with smartctl -a -d sat+megaraid,N -H /dev/sda). The only strange thing is in the output in megacli: megacli -LDInfo -L0 -a0 ... Bad Blocks Exist: Yes How could there be bad blocks in a Virtual Drive, which is in optimal state and no disk is broken or even with a single error? I tried "Consistency Check", but it finished successfully and the errors are still in dmesg. Could Someone help me to figure it out what is wrong with my raid?

    We have an Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition installation (10.2.0.1.0) on a Windows Server 2003 virtual machine. It was initially created with Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 but has now been migrated to Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V. The services start on system boot, but the instance does not start up. I have tried disabling firing wall and checked sqlbrowser is started but for some reason I cannnot connect to my datbase... called server_name\sqlexpress.. I have a virtual machine and a full scale MS SQL Server 2008 R2 running on it... and I have several other vm running sqlexpress. they run fine and I can connect to them using sqlexpress... but when i try to access from sqlserver...   • SQL Server 2008 R2 mirroring failing

    I have two Windows 2008 R2 (Amazon EC2) instances running SQL Server 2008 R2. I use 9TB striped disks (9x1TB EBS volumes) for storage. One server is running as principal and second one as mirror. Both started from the same image, database and tlog files located on striped disk. Mirror server failed 3 times in last 2 months with errors: EventID 823 The operating system returned error 2(The system cannot find the file specified.) to SQL Server during a write at offset 0x00000048058a00 in file 'D:\TLogs***_log.ldf'. Additional messages in the SQL Server error log and system event log may provide more detail. This is a severe system-level error condition that threatens database integrity and must be corrected immediately. Complete a full database consistency check (DBCC CHECKDB). This error can be caused by many factors; for more information, see SQL Server Books Online. and EventID 1454 Database mirroring will be suspended. Server instance 'xxxxxxxxxx' encountered error 823, state 6, severity 24 when it was acting as a mirroring partner for database '***'. The database mirroring partners might try to recover automatically from the error and resume the mirroring session. For more information, view the error log for additional error messages. followed by EventID 19019 The MSSQLSERVER service terminated unexpectedly. After this rebooting instance is necessary to restore mirroring. First two times I thought it was hardware related (striped disk failure) and relaunched instance on new hardware. But the issue is back after few weeks again. It only affects mirror instances. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

    My server is having issues and not responding to customer's https requests. I checked the event viewer and found several errors. These two are listed a couple of times: WINS encountered a database error. This may or may not be a serious error. WINS will try to recover from it. You can check the database error events under 'Application Log' category of the Event Viewer for the Exchange Component, ESENT, source to find out more details about database errors. If you continue to see a large number of these errors consistently over time (a span of few hours), you may want to restore the WINS database from a backup. The error number is in the second DWORD of the data section. And this one: An error occured while using SSL configuration for socket address 0.0.0.0:444. The error status code is contained within the returned data. SQL Server is not ready to accept new client connections. Wait a few minutes before trying again. If you have access to the error log, look for the informational message that indicates that SQL Server is ready before trying to connect again. [CLIENT: xxx.xxx.xxxx.xxx] I also found this in the event viewer but the computer has been restarted since this message and I have not seen it again. Configuring the Page file for crash dump failed. Make sure there is a page file on the boot partition and that is large enough to contain all physical memory. This is my virtual memory settings: I'm not familiar with WINS so I wasn't sure if that is where I start or how to resolve it. Is the WINS error causing the other problems or should I be looking somewhere else?

  • tomcat start service NoClassDefFoundError?

    I am trying to redeploy my server on a new server with a different DNS and IP address. Therefore, I think my problem is in the configuration to find JAR files. Is there a way to get more detail as to which class is being requested so I can narrow down my problem. Does anyone have any suggested troubleshooting guidance for such problem? BTW - the configuration was working on the original server, and I tried to find all the locations in the files: conf/, worker.properties, server.xml, catalina.policy, web.xml. The jarkarta.log repeats the starting... error initializing ... forever. Very boring, therefore, the problem has to be fundamental.   • Adobe premiere CS5 problem with the display driver

    This error is really hindering our project. I get an error, it started showing-up June 16th 2010. There are no windows updates at the on the same date as the error, other than (Windows Defender) Seems to happen when working with Image overlays. ERROR: "The NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close." We opened the side of the case in the possibility there is an over heating problem. Nvidia Driver ver 8.16.11.9175 (nVidia Quadro FX 1700) I am running: Windows 7 x64 Adobe premiere CS5 Production nVidia Quadro FX 1700 (MRGA14L) 4 Gig ram RAID 10 2 750GB drives Duo core 3.0 6MB L2 Cache This is at least three other people that have come across this error: NVidia Forum EVGA Forum NVidia Forum UPDATE: Having the case open did not help. I also installed New Nvidia drivers now I get a different error: *ERROR:*Your hardware configuration does not meet minimum specifications needed to run the application. The application must close. I ran Windows Update and installed all four updates so now I am waiting to see if the error occurs again. Anything beyond this I am out of options.

    I have CentOS 5 installed on my server. I'm in VPS server. I have site where I have constant online ~150. First look on site looks OK. But when I go through links, sometimes I receive Out of memory PHP error. It looks like this Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 36962304) (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/host/public_html/sites/all/modules/cck/modules/fieldgroup/fieldgroup.install on line 100 And always, not allocated memory is very small. In average I have 30% CPU load, 25% RAM load. So I think here is not a physical memory problem. My PHP memory limit was set to 1500MB.   • Constant crashes in windows 7 64bit when playing games

    I've tried everything I can possibly think of in trying to fix this problem and I'm totally out of ideas, so any help would be appreciated: The problem: whenever I fire up a game, it works for a short while with no problems and then it would crash. Either its a hard crash, forcing me to reboot, or windows would report that the display driver has stopped working and recovered. Here is a list of things I've already tried: Drivers - tried the latest drivers (catalyst 9.12) as well as the stock drivers that came with the video card. Also have the latest BIOS/chipset Memtest - Ran Memtest86+ overnight, had no problems, the windows diagnostic tool also does not find any problems. Overheating - Video card/cpu temperatures are well below peak (42 and 31 Celsius receptively) PSU Voltage - CPUID shows that the voltage levels are all above what they should be. The PSU itself is only roughly 16 months old and is a good model. HDD - No errors when checked GPU - Brand new (replaced previous card since I thought it was the problem, apparently not) Overclocking - Everything is at stock levels, memory voltage is set to manufacturer's standard Specs: Motherboard: ASUS P5Q Pro CPU: Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 ghz OS: Windows 7 home premium 64 bit Memory: Mushkin Enhanced 4GB DDR2 GPU: Sapphire HD 5850 1GB PSU: SeaSonic M12 600W ATX12V DirectX: DX11 Event Viewer after a crash always has these logged: A fatal hardware error has occurred.     We have an Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition installation (10.2.0.1.0) on a Windows Server 2003 virtual machine. It was initially created with Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 but has now been migrated to Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V. The services start on system boot, but the instance does not start up. Right now I have a horrible hack where I've created a Scheduled Task to run oradim -startup -sid ORCL when the Administrator account logs on, and set the VM to auto-logon. I'd still like to work out why it's not working.

    I have tried disabling firing wall and checked sqlbrowser is started but for some reason I cannnot connect to my datbase... called server_name\sqlexpress.. I have a virtual machine and a full scale MS SQL Server 2008 R2 running on it... and I have several other vm running sqlexpress. they run fine and I can connect to them using sqlexpress... but when i try to access from sqlserver... I get this error. A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
