Please remove any changes and try opening the designer again. What are my alternatives?

  I am trying to use the code from Microsoft for an Async Socket connection. It appears the listener runs in the main thread locking the GUI. I am new at both socket connections and multi-threading all at the same time. Having a hard time getting my mind wrapped around this all at once.   I read docs about java recorsion and I thought I have understood it, but when I try to use it in the following example, it does not work as expected. I a class account, which has amount and can have forther subAccount. I would have implemented one method getSum, which has to return the summ of the amount of the account and amount of all of its subaccount. • How do I get an imageview to rotate while translating in Android?

  I am trying to make an imageview that rotates while sliding across the screen. I setup a rotate animation for 180 degrees, and it works by itself. I setup a translate animation and it works by itself. When I combine them I get an imageview that makes a big spiral. I would like the imageview to rotate around the center of the imageview while being translated. AnimationSet animSet = new AnimationSet(true); //Translate upwards and to the right. • Routing classic asp and through an MVC application

  We are starting to convert a large classic asp application into MVC (using C#). An additional requirement is, that all classic routes get "translated" to MVC ones ('mydomain.com/productdetail.asp?id=13' should become 'mydomain.com/products/13') even before we start writing the first controller or view. So basically, we want to use the routing from MVC but have the classic asp handle the response. An these are my questions: How to use the new nice urls but have the classic asp handle the construction of the html result? Within the classic asp page, the new MVC url pattern should be used for links. What is the best way of translating the old urls to the new ones and make the accessible within the classic asp site (using COM I guess). When an old/classic url is requested, how would I correctly handle that request so that browsers/searchengines would understand that the page has moved to the new url? Thanks in advance!

Will this process stay running/runnable on the CPU or will it get taken off the CPU and be notified to wake up and run again when there is IO to be read? If it stays on the CPU, what can be done to make it get off and be notified later?

• Copying (or recovering) a .PFX password to another machine?

  First things first, I'm aware of all of the finger-wagging potential that this question provides. However, I'm attempting to help out a friend with a project so I haven't been part of the decision making process thus far. I'm attempting to set up a new development machine, but one of the projects is signed with a .PFX key that's password protected and the original developer does not remember the password. The current development machine can open and build the project just fine, so I'm wondering if there is any way either to copy or to recover the saved password that Visual Studio is using on the original box so that the file can be used on the new box. Signing with a new file is obviously an option, but one that we'd prefer to avoid. Does anyone know of a way either to recover or copy the credentials for this file to a new machine?

  I'm having difficulties finding out how to implement a 'configurable' behavior in a factory class in PHP. I've got at class, which takes another class as an argument in its constructor. The argument class could take a number of arguments in its constructor. An instance of my main class could look something like this $instance = new MyClass(new OtherClass(20, true)); $instance2 = new MyClass(new DifferentClass('test')); This is rather clumsy and has a number of problems and therefore I would like to move this into a factory class. The problem is that this factory somehow needs to know how to instantiate the argument class, as this class can have any number of arguments in the constructor. Preferably I would like to be able to do something like this $instance = Factory::build('OtherClass'); $instance2 = Factory::build('DifferentClass'); And let the factory retrieve the arguments from a configuration array or similar. Is there a proper solution to this problem?

• How to loop video using NetStream in Data Generation Mode

  I'm using a NetStream in Data Generation Mode to play an embeded FLV using appendBytes. When the stream is finished playing, I'd like to loop the FLV file. I'm not sure how to achieve this. If you just try to call appendBytes again after that, it doesn't work, presumably because I'm appending the full byte array which has the FLV header and stuff? I'm not very familiar with how that all works. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Hi All, I am fairly new to WPF so forgive me if I am missing something obvious. I'm having a problem where I have a collection of AggregatedLabels and I am trying to bind the ItemCount of each AggregatedLabel to the FontSize in my DataTemplate so that if the ItemCount of an AggregatedLabel is large then a larger fontSize will be displayed in my listBox etc. The part that I am struggling with is the binding to the ValueConverter.   I'm working on Rails 3.0.0.beta2, following Advanced Rails Recipes "Recipe #32, Mark locations on a Google Map" and I hit a road block: I do not see a google map. My @adds view uses @adds.to_json to connect the google maps api with my model. My database contains "latitude" "longitude", as floating points. And the entire project can be accessed at github.   I'm writing a DLL that has function for getting Alfresco login ticket without using user password, using only a user principal name (UPN). I’m calling alfresco REST API service /wcservice. I use NTLM in Alfresco. I’m impersonating users using WindowsIdentity constructor as explained here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms998351.aspx#paght000023_impersonatingbyusingwindowsidentity. I checked and user is properly impersonated (I checked WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name property). After impersonating a user, I try to make HttpWebRequest and set its credentials with CredentialsCache.DefaultNetworkCredentials. I get the error: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() When I use new NetworkCredential("username", "P@ssw0rd") to set request credentials, I get Alfresco login ticket (HttpStatusCode.OK, 200). Is there any way that I can get Alfresco login ticket without user password? (This is obviously a simplified test! Same error on this or the real, rather longer code though.)
