• SVN Mac oSX issue - permissions?

  Hello there, /Volumes/sites is a connection to a samba share that hosts some of our sites. We authorise using a username & password that is the same user/pass to log onto the mac. When committing, (or even doing a cleanup) from the Mac Client side using the svn command line tool or SCPlugin, this error occurs: Commit succeeded, but other errors follow: Error bumping revisions post-commit (details follow): In directory '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error processing command 'committed' in '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html' Error replacing text-base of 'index.php' Can't move '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/tmp/text-base/index.php.svn-base' to '/Volumes/sites/foobar/public_html/.svn/text-base/index.php.svn-base': Operation not permitted Any ideas? I think it's to do with permissions on the mac side not being able to move files around on the samba share. Apologies if my question is kinda vague so any extra information I can give please shout.   Hey Everyone, This maybe a very mundane question, but this is the first jQuery plugin that I write and I'm a bit fuzzy on understanding the scope rules in Javascript. I'm trying to write an simple jQuery plugin that wraps around the Stack Overflow API. I'm starting off by trying to work with the Flair API. I wanted to make the plugin as configurable as possible so that you can easily pass it the domain and user id, and generate multiple Flairs. var superUser = $.jStackOverflow.flair({domain:"superuser.com", id: 30162, parentId:'#su-flair'}); var stackOverflow = $.jStackOverflow.flair({domain:"stackoverflow.com", id: 55954, parentId:'#so-flair'}); The problem is, when it makes the second call, its somehow using the correct domain and id parameters, but the parentId field that it's using in the callback function to create the html, is using the first parameter.   Hi all, this must be quite simple but I am having great difficulty. You see I am trying to find a string within another string as follows. e = input.indexOf("-->"); s = input.indexOf("<!--"); input = input.replace(input.substring(s, e + 3), " "); The integers e and s are returning -1 in that it was not found and this is causing the replace method to fail. The test string I am using is "Chartered Certified<!--lol--> Accountants (ACCA)". I tried to creat a new string object and pass in the string as an argument as follows e=input.indexOf(new String("<!--")); This yielded the same result. Any ideas ?

The only thing it does is receives incoming calls and executes a Perl script. No outgoing calls, no incoming calls to an actual phone, no phones registered with Asterisk. It seems like there should be an easy way to block all unauthorized registration attempts, but I have struggled with this for a long time. It seems like there should be a more effective way to prevent these attempts from even getting far enough to reach my Asterisk logs. Some setting I could turn on/off that doesn't allow registration attempts at all or something. Is there any way to do this? Also, am I correct in assuming that the "Registration from ..." messages are likely people attempting to get access to my Asterisk server (probably to make calls on my account)? And what's the difference between those messages and the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages? Further detail: I know that the "Registration from ..." lines are intruders attempting to get access to my Asterisk server. With Fail2Ban set up, these IPs are banned after 5 attempts (for some reason, one got 6 attempts, but w/e). But I have no idea what the "Sending fake auth rejection ..." messages mean or how to stop these potential intrusion attempts. As far as I can tell, they have never been successful (haven't seen any weird charges on my bills or anything). Here's what I have done: Set up hardware firewall rules as shown below. Here, xx.xx.xx.xx is the IP address of the server, yy.yy.yy.yy is the IP address of our facility, and aa.aa.aa.aa, bb.bb.bb.bb, and cc.cc.cc.cc are the IP addresses that our VoIP provider uses.   Hi to all, i am trying to use friendly url for my categories. Example Database cat_id | parent_id | name | url 1 0 cat1 cat1 2 1 cat2 cat2 My approach to do is to pass the parameter cat with url value for example show.php?cat=cat1 and in .htaccess i must rewrite to /cat1 BUT what about when i want to access cat2. I want to rewrite as cat1/cat2 so the parameter is show.php?cat=cat1/cat2 and then parse the value to secure that cat2 belong to cat1. And so on. I am not using MVC so i have to do it on my own. Please if any other solutions is better please advice or suggest me reading Thank in advance.

  I am trying to pass login credentials to a PHP script that I have in my iPhone app. When I pull a password with special characters the password is missing certain characters especially the percent sign. • Restfull authentication between two GAE apps.

  Hello everyone, i am trying to write a restful google app engine application (python) that accepts requests only from another GAE that i wrote. I dont like any of the ways that i thought of to get this done, please advice if you know of something better than: Get SSL setup, and simply add the credentials on the request that my consuming app will send. I dont like it cause SSL will slow things down. Security by obsecurity. Pass a long number by my consuming app that is in Xmod0, where X is a secret number that both applications know. I just,,,, dont like this. Check the HTTP header to see where is the request coming from. This option is the one that i hate the least, not alot of processing, and spoofing an HTTP request is not really worth it, for my application's data. Is there any other clean solution for this?

I have a situation where we are trying to autofill some form data on the second page of a signup and I was wondering if there's a way to bypass the entire form validation when we pass in only a couple of fields? so we have something like form = NewForm(request.POST) Where request.POST only contains some of the fields in NewForm(). So the page loads and there is feedback about how some fields are not filled in yet. This all happens from the GET request of the second page.   I'm writing a regular expression that can interactively validate SMTP responses codes, once the SMTP dialog is completed it should pass the following regex (some parentheses added for better readability): ^(220)(250){3,}(354)(250)(221)$ Or with(out) authentication: ^(220)(250)((334){2}(235))?(250){2,}(354)(250)(221)$ I'm trying to do rewrite the above regexes so that I can interactively check if the dialog is going as expected, otherwise politely send a QUIT command and close the connection saving bandwidth and time, but I'm having a hard time writing an optimal regex. So far I've managed to come up with: ^(220(250(334(235(250(354(250(221)?)?)?){0,})?){0,2})?)?$ Which, besides only matching authenticated connections, has some bugs... For instance, it matches: 220250334235250354250221 220250334334235250354250221 I've also tried the following modification: ^(220(250)?)?((334(235)?){2})?(250(354(250(221)?)?)?){0,}$ This one accepts non-authenticated responses but it fails to match 220250334 and wrongly matches 220250334334235250354250221 (at least 2 250 are needed before the 354 response code). • How can I receive CameraActivities result in a DIFFERENT Activity (i.e. not in the launching one)?

  Hi, I hope the title says it all: I've got Activity A which fires up the Camera intent via: Intent intent = new Intent(MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE); startActivityForResult(intent, REQUEST_CAMERA); After the picture is taken I can easily grab the picture in: @Override protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) But I'd like to receive the result in Activity B in which the image can be edited. Right now I'm receiving the result in Activity A and pass it over to Activity B which results in showing the GUI of Activity A for a short while: Intent i = new Intent().setAction("DisplayJPEG"); i.setClass(this, EditImageActivity.class); i.putExtra("IMAGE_URI", uri); startActivityForResult(i, REQUEST_EDIT_IMAGE); Of course, I will need the result from Activity B in Activity A after the image has been edited. But that should work with: setResult(resultCode, data); So there has to be a way to do what I need. Please point me into the right direction. Thanks in advance, steff

• Maven 2.1.0 not passing on system properties to Java virtual machine

  We use the command line to pass on system properties to the Java virtual machine when running our Hudson builds on a Linux box. It used to work quite well in 2.0.9 by since we upgraded to 2.1.0 it has stopped working altogether. The system properties just never make it to the Java virtual machine. I have created a small test project and indeed it does not work at all. I have attached it in case you want to give it a go.   Hi, I have a URL that returns data in CSV format. I would like to use Google Vizualization to create an interactive chart of the data. I've looked at several examples on Google Chart and Vizualization web page but I'm a bit confused as I'm not familiar with JavaScript or web programming in general. Question: Do I have to use JavaScript to parse the CSV string myself and manually construct the DataTable with addColumn() and addRows()? Or, is there a way to simply pass the CSV url to the charting function? I'm hoping to do something like this: var csv_data = get_data_from_url('http://...') var data = new google.visualization.DataTable(csv_data); var chart = new google.visualization.PieChart(document.getElementById('chart_div')); chart.draw(data, ...); Can someone please help me out? • MembershipUser class CreateUser password paramter

  I'm using the ASP.NET Configuration for my users and their roles. I'm also using the MembershipUser class with its function CreateUser. I have it working, but was curious about something. When I add a new user and pass this function its password parameter (which in this case is coming from a textbox on the page). It seems like it only finds and accepts that textbox value when it is 6 chars or more. For example, if I type in ab123 it'll say object not set to instance of an object. However if I do abc123 it works fine. Where is that being told to do that. I didn't know if this was something I could change or where it might be doing that. Thanks.

  Imagine I have a csv with and each value is an integer. so the first value is the INTEGER 100. I want fscanf() to read this line, and either tell me it's an integer ONLY, or not. So, it would pass 100 but fail on 100t. What i've been trying to get work is "%d," where the comma is the delimiter of my CSV. so the whole function is fscanf(fp, "%d,", &count) Unfortunately, this fails to fail on '100t,' works on '100' and works on 't'. so it just isn't distinguishing between 100 and 100t (all of these numbers are followed by commas, of course

• Zend Framework PartialLoop - questions

  Hi Ok dealing with Partial Loops I want to do several things Perhaps pass in extra variables - seen it done like this echo $this-partialLoop('Loop.phtml', array('data' = $data, 'var1' = foo)); But this does not seem to work - I can not extra the data using $this-var $this-data-var or $data-var not sure how to access the data in the loop Sutotals for columns - need a way of resetting variables or passing in a default value - linked to the above I suppose ie $subtotal += rowTotal; In the view that calls the partial I would like to get access to the subtotal values generated so I can display these in another table below. Any help appreciated the docs on partialLoop seems incomplete. Ian

I'm developing a website in asp.net webforms with 3 layers; UI, BLL and DAL The website is already developed, but i like have more control about the unit tests of each form Pass specific values at specific inputs for i see, if application survives or not. I already study about NUnit but in webforms in UI layer how can apply these tests? What i wnat is get some way to test UI (validations) without have to access to the BLL as i was an user. I'm trying to add the Unit tests to my app but i not sure how to do it! somebody can help my small-bigger problem? apreciated

• Update website with a single command (git push) instead of FTP drag and dropping

  Situation: I have a local copy of a website I have a server that I have SSH access to What do I want to do? Commit locally until I'm happy with my code Make branches locally Have one master branch that is the one that should be pushed to the server Update the website using a single command (git push origin master) If I set up a git repo locally using git init, and then push to a folder on the server, it doesn't work. When I FTP to the server to check the files, they're actually there. When I SSH into the server and do git status, it's not clean, even though it should be since I just pushed to the server. Steps I'm doing: Make a new folder on my computer (mkdir folder_x) Go into that folder (cd folder_x) Set up a new git repository there (git init) (git repository sets up successfully) Push the repository to the server using git push origin master (where origin is set up as user:[email protected])

• Using PHP variables inside SQL statements?

  For some reason I can't pass a var inside a mysql statement. I have a function that can be used for multiple tables. So instead of repeating the code I want to change the table that is selected from like so, function show_all_records($table_name) { mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table_name"); etc, etc... } And to call the function I use show_all_records("some_table") or show_all_records("some_other_table") depending on which table I want to select from at the moment. But it's not working, is this because variables can't be passed through mysql statements?
