    After installing Service Pack 3 I am getting this error "Generic Host Process For Win32 Services Encountered A Problem and needs to close. When this message pops my computer just stuck and I can not even restart it normally. The only fix of this problem is to un-install service pack 3 and run fix from Microsoft which is available for Service Pack 2. Any help to fix this. Thanks.

    I have umpteen backups trying to restore my scripts I had in the netlogon share but when I go to them the folder is empty. Does backup not back those scripts in netlogon up? Is there somewhere I should expect to see the files at besides c:\winnt\sysvol\sysvol\mydomain\scripts? Thank you for any help.

    I'm trying to create a directory symbolic link under Windows Server 2003 but I'm not having any luck. I've tried junction.exe (Sysinternals), ln.exe, and linkd.exe (Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit). I'd like c:\folder\subfolder to link to \fileserver\realSubfolder This works perfectly fine under Windows 7 (using mklink.exe) but I can't get this to work under Windows Server 2003. Can anybody help me out?

    Hello, I've just installed ubuntu 10.10 on my laptop its all great but the screen resolution is a bit crap i have it set 1200:800 and when i do xrandr it indicates that the i can have a bigger screen resolution but i dont seem to to be able to increase it more 1200:800. another interesting thing is that xorg.conf does not exist on the /etc/X11/ is there a way to increase the screen resolution for Sony laptops? the graphics card is Intel Graphics Please help!

    I have a Jenkins-ci installation on a debian squeeze. Current default time zone: 'America/Toronto' Local time is now: Mon Jul 9 16:00:57 EDT 2012. Universal Time is now: Mon Jul 9 20:00:57 UTC 2012. In the /etc/default/rcS file i have : UTC=no Unfortunately this is not working, In the system information of jenkins: user.timezone Etc/UTC I searched for a few hour.. unfortunately could not find a fix any help would be greatly appreciated.     We have ~300 celeryd processes running under Ubuntu 10.4 64-bit , in idle every process takes ~19mb RES, ~174mb VIRT, thus - it's around 6GB of RAM in idle for all processes. In active state - process takes up to 100mb of RES and ~300mb VIRT Every process uses minidom(xml files are < 500kb, simple structure) and urllib. Quetions is - how can we decrease RAM consuption - at least for idle workers, probably some celery or python options may help? How to determine which part takes most of memory?

    my problem is about Ip Address which I am receiving on the windows system snmp-trap messages,is some thing like that UDP: [192.168.1.150]:1029->[0.0.0.0]:0 while same trap message on linux system has been displayed as UDP: [192.168.1.150]:1030->[192.168.1.23] Now,if you observed carefully these two ,its clearly shown that server ip is not coming in windows traps-Ip([0.0.0.0]:0).what would be the possible reason?please anyone can help me about understanding this & can provide the solution for this problem.

    ive been trying to install vmware workstation on my windows 7 computer. i know ive alreadey posted something simmalar to this, but this totally different situation. whenever i open the installer, this grey window labbeled vmware workstation setup opens and nothing happens. works on vista, but i dont use my vista for this kinda stuff anymore. Help PS: if this looks like mac to you, it isnt. it is windows 7 with zeusosx theming.
