  • Confused with DKIM, SPF and Exim Configs

    I've now spent 2 hours trying to figure out this issue and I am about to give up and go to bed. I've been having issues with Gmail rejecting emails from my VPS server because of false spam alerts (probably caused by lfd sending too many emails). So I changed my Exim config to send emails from a different IP (my VPS comes with 3) and that fixed the issue. I also enabled DKIM and SPF on my domains for added measure. But now, all my emails appear as ("From: Sender Name via server.domain1.com") where server.domain1.com is my VPS hostname. I previously had the same issue in Outlook and turning off "Set SMTP Sender: headers" solved that problem. But I believe adding the DKIM and SPF now makes Gmail add "via server.domain1.com" to my messages. How do I fix this?   • How to Run vnc4server on Ubuntu in Certain Resolution?

    There's a headless Ubuntu instance used as a host for our build server. I have some UI code that requires some graphical output. Installing a vnc4server and redirecting a DISPLAY to it worked like a charm. Not that my UI tests are running but test scripts can take screen shots. Problem is that I need to set the resolution that vnc4server uses to serve the graphical content. Does anybody know how to configure it on Ubuntu server?

    I am looking for a command-line tool for Unix (ideally, available in a Debian / Ubuntu package) for extracting all MIME parts from a multipart email message (or the body from a singlepart with an interesting content-type, for that matter). I have been using the mimeexplode tool which ships with the Perl MIME::Tools package, but it's not really production quality (the script is included as an example only, and has issues with what it regards as "evil" character sets) and I could certainly roll my own script based on that, but if this particular wheel has already been innovated, perhaps I shouldn't.

  • Live Mesh deleted my folder! Is there anyway to recover it?

    I'm using Live Mesh to sync files. I have two machines, one has my work and the second was offline. When I booted the second Live Mesh deleted all the content of a folder from my live desktop. I can see the entry in the news section of my live desktop (delete 74 folders...). Anyone know if there's a way to undeleted or recover these files? Thanks!

  • Export layer to png file in gimp

    Is there a simple way to export the current selected layer as a png/jpg file in Gimp 2.8.4 ? I did some searching in google, and the export should do it in gimp 2.6 if the layer is the only visible layer, but I can't get that to work for gimp 2.8 The way I currently do it now is that I select the content, and cut/paste it to a new image, then export the image and close it, but a simple export selected layer would be much more easy to use.

    Since the release of the latest version of firefox, I've been having an issue where Vimperator will show scrollbars on its tab-bar. I can't find any relevant options in Vimperator's docs or via googling. The only option that looked remotely relevant was the "scrollbars" setting, but that just determines whether I get scrollbars on Firefox's content window... Is there any particular setting I have to use to hide scrollbars from the tab-bar? (I'm using Waterfox on Win8)

The message has not been deleted and may be accessible using either Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. You can also try contacting the original sender of the message to find out about the contents of the message. Retrieval of this message will be retried when the server is updated with a fix that addresses the problem." Messages were transferred in to Exchange by copying them from the old Apple Xserve, accessed using IMAP. So my question, finally: 1. Is there any way to get the IMAP Exchange connector to rebuild its cache of messages since it doesn't seem to be pulling them directly from the MAPI store? 2. Alternatively, if there is no database, any ideas on why these messages don't appear in Outlook or OWA would be gratefully received. Many thanks, Mike
