Adding multiple rss feeds to a script in SCALA InfoChannel Designer 5

Okay, since it is impossible to talk to anyone on the phone or get support through Scala's "forum", I am going to take a shot and see if anyone out there is feeling my pain. I have a client that uses Scala's InfoChannel Designer and Content Manager. I have had to learn this software from scratch and I have to say it hasn't been easy. I think I am at a point where the overall design is set, but I need to implement a couple of things before I can make this happen. RSS feeds are my issue at this point. Multiple RSS feeds to be specific. I need a feed coming in for 3 areas of content: Wiki News (or equivalent), local weather and a stock ticker. I have learned how to setup a "crawl" using a script example available from Scala's file center and copying and pasting into my design. But from what I have learned first hand and through reading through other forums, you can not have a feed from 3 different sources or urls happening simultaneously. Doesn't seem like it would be an issue, but apparently it is. This small step has held up this project for far too long and I need to get it figured out. This doesn't even touch on my issue of feeding in streaming video as a background but I have gone over this in another question but with no luck thus far. If there is ANYONE out there who is in anything similar using this software, your feedback and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you for allowing me to vent!

Uploading to S3 using Curl

How to search for a Windows 8 folder by name

In Windows 7, if you press the Windows key and type the name of a folder, and the folder shows up among the Start menu search results. In Windows 8, if you do the same thing, no folders are listed. The Files filter shows files with matching names, but no folders. I realize that you can still search for folders from the Windows Explorer search box, but navigating that way is a bit slow and clumsy. Is there a quicker way, in particular a way to search directly from the Windows 8 Start screen?

Removing emails from all mailbox with certain text in subject

So, we had an errant program kick off about 15,000 emails to our users. I have our spam filters now blocking these on the edge until that gets resolved, but now I would like to clean our our users' mailboxes for them. Is there anyway with Exchange 2007 to remove all emails with certain text in the subject line? It would need to be a partial match because the subject changes slightly for each email. I am trying to do this with Forefront's manual scan job + content filter, but it does not seem to like partial matches on the subject.

Why can't I wrap the ServletRequest when trying to capture JSP Output

I am trying to dispatch in a servlet request handler to the JSP processor and capture the content of it. I am providing wrapper instances for the ServletRequest and ServletResponse, they implement the corresponding HTTPServletRequest/-Response interfaces, so they should be drop-in replacements. All methods are currently passed to the original Servlet Request object (I am planning to modify some of them soon). Additionally I have introduced some new methods. (If you want to see the code: http://code.google.com/p/gloudy/source/browse/trunk/gloudyPortal/src/java/org/gloudy/gloudlet/impl/RenderResponseImpl.java) The HttpServletResponse uses it's own output streams to capture the output. When I try to call request.getRequestDispatcher("/WEB-INF/views/test.jsp").include(request, response); With my request and response wrappers the method returns and no content has been captured. When I tried to pass the original request object it worked! But that's not what I need in the long run... request.getRequestDispatcher("/WEB-INF/views/test.jsp").include(request.getServletRequest(), response); This works. getservletRequest() returns the original Request, given by the servlet container. Does anyone know why this is not working with my wrappers?

N-son tabbed/JsScrollbar, trying to force gif play from click of link using jquery

Hello everyone, Let me start off by stating the obvious; I am new here. That said I hope I am not violating some standard I missed by posting this. xD For several days now I've been trying to update a rather old site of mine, to which I wont link to given that the update is so drastic that the current product on which I seek your help for doesn't resemble the old site in any other way then appearance. Anywho! I am using the tabbed div and JsScrollbar created by N-son (http://www.downloadjavascripts.com/list/javasitek60/Details.aspx) and so far have only used jquery to dynamically center content on the page. My problem however is this...I have a gif on the page that acts as a background (it's not tiled) and I'd like to be able to have it so that when you click on one of the links used in n-sons tabs (EX: news) it also causes the gif to load and play through itself once. So far all my attempts at accomplishing this myself have failed and break wither the scrollbar or prevent the content from switching when you click the tabs. (Except for one failed attempt where it all worked fine except the handle for the scrollbar would vanish upon switching tabs) I hope I've been clear in this and that someone is able to help. I know it may seem like a silly question but we're all new at some point. :P If need be I'll upload what coding I have but it is not pretty. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am using this pagination class and was looking for a way to make the sql query more dynamic instead of having it hardcoded. I have a 3 <li> elements that I want to be filter buttons, meaning when a user clicks on one of these elements I want It to send the id so I can use it in a sql query. So for the $sql = "select * from explore where category='marketing'"; (as seen below). When the user clicks on the 'automotive' button it will change the category above to automotive. decrypting AES files in an apache module?

I have a client with a security policy compliance requirement to encrypt certain files on disk. The obvious way to do this is with Device-mapper and an AES crypto module However the current system is setup to generate individual files that are encrypted. What are my options for decrypting files on-the-fly in apache? I see that mod_ssl and mod_session_crypto do encryption/decryption or something similar but not exactly what I am after. I could imagine that a PerlSetOutputFilter would work with a suitable Perl script configured, and I also see mod_ext_filter so I could just fork a unix command and decrypt the file, but they both feel like a hack. I am kind of surprised that there is no mod_crypto available...or am I missing something obvious here? Presumably resource-wise the perl filter is the way to go?

IIS NLB Web Farm to front Single Tomcat Instance

I've got a single Tomcat 6 server that hosts a JSP app. We just spun up a new IIS 7.5 web farm to host our other internal apps. Currently the machine that hosts Tomcat is also running IIS 7 with the ISAPI filter loaded to provide front-end handling for the JSP app. I'd like to move the IIS portion to the web farm to consolidate our IIS presence and let the Tomcat server just serve and run Java and Tomcat. Has anyone done this, is it even possible while ensuring session state is properly maintained? I had it up and running using the IIS Tomcat Connector http://tomcatiis.riaforge.org/ but after a while the communication between the boxes slowed and pages would not load. In addition it seemed like some of our authentication tickets were timing out. Thanks for any ideas or reference material!

DSP - Filtering in the frequency domain via FFT

I've been playing around a little with the Exocortex implementation of the FFT, but I'm having some problems. Whenever I modify the amplitudes of the frequency bins before calling the iFFT the resulting signal contains some clicks and pops, especially when low frequencies are present in the signal (like drums or basses). However, this does not happen if I attenuate all the bins by the same factor. Let me put an example of the output buffer of a 4-sample FFT: // Bin 0 (DC) FFTOut[0] = 0.0000610351563 FFTOut[1] = 0.0 // Bin 1 FFTOut[2] = 0.000331878662 FFTOut[3] = 0.000629425049 // Bin 2 FFTOut[4] = -0.0000381469727 FFTOut[5] = 0.0 // Bin 3, this is the first and only negative frequency bin. FFTOut[6] = 0.000331878662 FFTOut[7] = -0.000629425049 The output is composed of pairs of floats, each representing the real and imaginay parts of a single bin. As you can see, bins 1 and 3 both have the same values, (except for the sign of the Im part), so I guess bin 3 is the first negative frequency, and finally indexes (4, 5) would be the last positive frequency bin. As I'm bit of a control-dude, I'd like to maintain the code myself. I'm not happy with the overkill of comments I don't need. How can I limit the upload and download bandwidth on my CentOS server? This is a box with a single interface, eth0. Ideally, I would like a command-line solution (I've been trying to use tc), something that I could easily switch on and off in a script. So far I've been trying to do something like tc filter add dev eth0 protocol ip prio 50 u32 police rate 100kbit burst 10240 drop but I'm obviously missing a lot of knowledge and information. Android - Correspondence between ImageView coordinates and Bitmap Pixels

In my application I want the user to be able to select some content of an Image contained inside an ImageView. To select the content I subclassed the ImageView class making it implement the OnTouchListener so to draw over it a rectangle with borders decided by the user. Here is an example of the result of the drawing (to have an idea you can think of it as when you click with the mouse on your desktop and drag the mouse): Now I need to determine which pixels of the Bitmap image correspond to the selected part. It's kind of easy to determine which are the points of the ImageView belonging to the rectangle, but I don't know how to get the correspondent pixels, since the ImageView has a different aspect ratio than the original image. I followed the approach described especially here, but also here, but am not fully satisfied because in my opinion the correspondence made is 1 on 1 between pixels and points on the ImageView and does not give me all the correspondent pixels on the original image to the selected area. Thunderbird: moving email from local Junk folder to IMAP folder yields "Message contains invalid header"

Whenever I try to move an email from a local Junk folder to an IMAP folder in Thunderbird, I get the following error message: The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Message contains invalid header If Thunderbird's Junk folder is an IMAP folder on the server, then after Thunderbird has moved messages to that folder, I can successfully move messages from Junk back into to some other IMAP folder. However, if the Junk folder is not on the server, then moving a message from the local Junk folder to an IMAP folder yields the aforementioned error. The only interesting thing I've found about this error is "Message contains invalid header" from the MozillaZine Knowledge Base. That article officially is about importing folders from another email client, and does not mention the Junk filter as another possible cause. However the proposed solution is not very helpful since it requires manual editing of the message box files. Any better ideas? EDIT: make sure you read the comments before answering the question.

Generating PDF document using XSLT

I have one huge XML document. I have set of XSL representing each node in the XML. These XSL also have java script to generate the dynamic content. It uses images which are in seperate images folder and it uses fonts as well. At present, I have a program which displays all the nodes that can be transformed and user click on one of the node and the program performs XSLT and display the content in HTML format on IE screen. I want to write a program (.Net , C# or any .Net language) which will allow user to do XSLT tranform on all the available notes and create one PDF document. My initial requirement was to display all the document in the IE itself, so I reused the existing code, and foreach node, perform XSLT and then append it to the current HTML with a page break and it worked ok till we hit huge files. So the requirement changed to create one PDF file with all the nodes. I have couple of questions, 1. What is the best way to create PDF file using XSLT transformation? 2. Since the images are relative path, if we generate the XSLT in html and then write it to a output stream will it loose the images? 3. Will the font be preserved in the PDF document? Really appriciate if someone could point me to some good example that I can take and run with it. Thanks a lot.

But when I change the second line of index.js to: page << "document.write('nomnoms should be here') ...the widget renders the text. Jquery class changing works, but doesn't effect another function like it should

So I have content boxes that close and expand when you click an arrow. The content box has two classes for telling whether it is open or closed (.box_open, .box_closed). A hover function is assigned to box_open so when it is open and you hover over the header, the arrow appears. However, I don't want this to happen when the box is closed, as I want to arrow to remain visible when the box is closed. When the box closes, the box_open class is removed, but the function assigned to that class still works. Here's the jquery code for the two functions. Due to this, the image in the title bar is visible in all 3 tabs. My requirement is to set a different image to title bar for each activity. I followed this to set image to title bar.
