    Hi, I have a Listview in my application. Listview rows are clickable. I have introduced a seek bar in each row of a Listview. Despite settings android:clickable="false" for Seekbar in layout xml, I am still able to click on it and move seek bar as desired. I don't want Seekbar to be clickbale but I do want Listview row to clickable. Any pointers will be appreciated.

    I'm using ASIHttpRequests and an ASINetworkQueue in an iphone app to retrieve some 100k XML files and a lot of thumbnails from a web service. I'd like to cache the requests in the style of NSURLCache. ASI doesn't seem to support caching as is, and I looked at the code and it drops to C to create the requests, so inserting the NSURLCache layer seemed tricky. What's the best way to implement this?

  • Why don't all XSLT templates get executed at once?

    Refer to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1613454/retrieving-one-element-and-filter-by-another In the above linked posting, I don't understand why the two template blocks don't get executed upon in the incoming XML at the same time. As far I can can see, the XSL risks the second template executing for every Document element whether it is called with apply-templates or not. Could someone explain this to my stifled brain, please?     I'm using C# and I'm stumped. Does it just not support id()? I have a large XML file, about 4-5 of them at ~400kb, so I need some speed and performance wherever I can get it. I use XmlDocument.SelectSingleNode("id('blahblahblah')") and it doesn't get the node by id. Am I going crazy or is it that C# XPath just doesn't support id()?

    Hello It seems the most common aproach to web design is to use HTML/XHTML & CSS in conjunction with other technologies or languages like Javascript or PHP. On a theoretical level, I'm interested to know what other languages or technologies could be used to build an entire site without using a single HTML tag or CSS style for styling/positioning? Could a website be made only using XML or PHP alone, including actual styling and positioning? Presumably Flash sites are till embedded in HTML tags? Thanks

  • How to map Duration type with JPA

    I have a property field in a class that is of type javax.xml.datatype.Duration. It basically represents a time span (e.g. 4 hours and 34 minutes). JPA is telling me it is an invalid type, which doesn't shock me. Whats a good solution this? I could implement my own Duration class, but I don't know how to get JPA to "accept" it as a datatype.
